Super cool spot! This place was recommended to us by a vendor at the Frenchman art market as something local, nerdy, and unique to check out. We absolutely loved it. We met the owner and he was very kind. The space has so many games and has a very cozy home-type feel. I wish we had a laid back nerdy spot like this to hang out at in LA. Would love to pop in next time we're back in town!

Possibly the best place to go for entertainment in the parish. So many nice people, cool events, nice vibes, and of course, great games. Be it classic upright arcade cabinets or retro consoles, this place has it all. It's the first place I go whenever I wanna hang out somewhere. They do high score competitions, speed run competitions where you compete to see who can finish a game the fastest, and of course classic elimination style tournaments every Sunday for various different VS games, including both fighting games like Street Fighter (The classics, as well as the brand new 6) as well as head to head puzzle games like Tetris. I couldn't reccomend this place enough. They've had their ups and their downs these past couple years, but overall I can't think of a place I'd wanna hang out at more than here. I don't even drink personally, but there's more than enough for someone like me to enjoy the place. As someone often pretty bummed out about the lack of classic arcades down here, this fills that void pretty damn well. Signed, undefeated Lethal League Blaze champion

A complete hidden gem. The bartenders are amazing, it's funky and cool inside, and the games are tons of fun and nostalgic. This was one of the most fun nights I've had. Playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and getting amazing drinks all night is something you can probably only get at Sea Cave

Great chill spot! Came on a Monday! The bartender - Maddie - was awesome! So we're the owners. The food is SO good and so affordable. Definitely need to try the Hawaiian Mac salad, they put lays potato chips on top!

The ONLY reason it's not 5 stars is bc I was disappointed there was no where to sit outside. Other than that OMG this place is SOOO cool. They have all kinds of drink options the food is BEYOND good! I've never had jackfruit tacos before and now I'm addicted! The all day game pass is $5 super cool. The games are fun. It's the kind of place I wish I had as a kid to go to but now I get to enjoy it with Hawaiian food and Tito's! Highly recommend for a date night.

    Classic Arcade Games high score!

On a previous trip we had seen an evening show at Snug Harbor and wanted to experience something else. We had read good things about the Spotted Cat and their sets run all afternoon. We were a little confused about price because one of our guidebooks said there is no cover but you're supposed to order drinks. There was a doorman who charged us something like $5 each (still cheap!) and we ordered beer and a N/A drink at the bar and listened to a great jazz group playing old-time jazz. Interior is tiny and you're pretty close to the performers. We were standing at first but eventually found some seats as people left. There is even a back courtyard if you want to be outside, although I don't know if you can hear the music or not. We bought a CD from the band and enjoyed it when we got back home. All in all, a great New Orleans experience.

The vibe is divey with some tables and the stage with musicians is near the front. The music was great and musicians very talented. Drinks were fine and came out quickly. Overall had a nice time enjoying the music!

Whether sitting at the bar, or in one of the many lounge chairs on the opposite wall, every seat is an excellent. While I knew of the drink French 75, on the bar menu it was offered with either gin or cognac. I decided to try the cognac and so glad I did. Perfectly delicious! It turns out that drink is actually a French 125, so I learned something new that night. Great spot with a great vibe.

While the Sazerac wasn't invented here, this is arguably its most iconic home, a place where New Orleans cocktail history comes to life. I would use this version as your gold standard when dining out in New Orleans and looking for a perfect Sazerac. We enjoyed watching bartender Rachel craft each drink. Rye whiskey, Peychaud's Bitters, and sugar are stirred in a small pitcher with ice. The serving glass is chilled, then emptied, and finished with an absinthe rinse along the rim. The cocktail is strained into the glass and topped with a lemon peel. The atmosphere makes the experience even better. The murals, the history, and the energy of the room give it a sense of occasion that you do not get at most bars. We had such a great time sitting at the bar that my wife and I each finished two and a half Sazeracs, which tells you everything you need to know.

The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. I would recommend this restaurant even if you are not a guest of the hotel.

The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!
