Nice place. Friendly. They sell a delicious tea called Blue Eyes - a complex and fruity flavor. They also had a yummy pecan tart. They know good flavors and they treat customers like family

Tuna salad sandwich plus onions

My favorite little morning spot. Perfectly placed near a local school and a community center. Family owned and operated by friendly, kind, funny locals who make you feel so welcome and at home. Sometimes I come in even when i'm not hungry just because I miss the feeling. And most importantly - I can get a lunch sandwich at 8am! Pictured is the tuna salad, but I usually get the turkey and pepper jack (plus onions!)

My caramel macchiato was bomb! It was made with perfection and the expresso did it's thing. I also went with a Turkey and cheese sandwich on a croissant, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was not skimpy at all! All cost me around $18 which is on the pricey side but the items were good! This coffee shop has enough space for people to work/study and spend some time there. Service was super friendly and inviting.

Great coffeehouse in NOLA. I highly recommend it if you are in the Treme section of NOLA, looking for a hand crafted pick me up AND not looking for your run of the mill chain coffee shop. The vibe is funky and eclectic and "looks" like the way I would want a NOLA coffee shop to look like (if that makes sense) The ladies behind the bar were super nice and there as a nice selection of hot/cold caffinated/noncaffinated options available. I ended up with an iced cold brew which was smooth and delicious. Mark (the non coffee drinker) ended up with a nitro. He did not share with me so I can only assume that it was top notch in his book. I wish I could have spent more time here as it looks to be a great neighborhood coffee shop where one can meet friends or bring your laptop for work. A perfectly

What a lovely coffee spot! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there's cool artwork and photos in the walls. They have a limited menu, but everything we ordered was good. We will definitely return!

The whole experience was amazing! Got a coffee and sandwich and they both were 10/10!! The staff were super friendly as well! Overall, highly recommend!!

Treme Coffeehouse is one is my favorite coffee shops in the city. Right around the corner from my home in Treme-- it's super convenient! I visited on their 10th year anniversary to see Z2 (Yoshitaka Tsuji) play for the anniversary. The vibe is always nice, staff is always friendly and welcomes you w| a smile. They also sell snowball + ice cream for this hot, summer days. I love their tuna salad sandwich and fresh fruit they have. I recommend!!

This is a delightful historic venue staffed by knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly hosts. Wouldn't miss this on a trip to NOLA.

There's a lot of hype around cafe du monde for good reason...I actually came to this location twice…read moreduring my 4 day trip in New Orleans because the beignets here are THAT good. While you're here, I'd say that the cafe au lait is also worth trying. I noticed that the lines tend to be longer in the morning but there was little to no wait at night time. Service is mixed--some workers are really friendly while others seem rushed and are a bit harsher. It is a casual spot and you can pretty much grab any open table to be seated. One thing to note is that it is cash only. Overall, I'd highly recommend this location of cafe du monde!

Anyone who says that Café du Monde is overhyped has not been here! This place was phenomenal!…read more For reference, my only experience with beignets before this was at Disneyland, and everyone told me I had to try Café du Monde. I was a little confused when I first walked up, as there isn't a place to order. You simply sit at an empty table and a server comes to take your order. The beignets were warm, crispy, and covered in powdered sugar. It's hard to explain what they even tasted like because they were just that incredible. I ended up getting them again the next day--I genuinely want to make another trip out here just to have them again. Be aware that it's in a heavily tourist-filled area, but besides that, I loved this spot and will definitely be back the next time I'm in New Orleans!

Streetcar New…read moreOrleans must be the breakfast/brunch capital of the world - and Streetcar is right there among the best of them. Nothing fancy, but excellent service and outstanding food. I was in New Orleans for the 2026 Jazz and Heritage Festival, so my mornings were my own. I travel alone and don't always look for reservations when planning on a meal in this city. Streetcar Café is a perfect choice for what I was looking for: ample breakfast choices, a full bar, and excellent service by Andres. I ordered two poached eggs ($3.50), a single pancake ($4.50), and hash brown potatoes ($4). Totally reasonable pricing, and excellent meals, topped with the Always Summer (Malibu rum, Triple sec, OJ, Pineapple juice, Grenadine, $13). The place filled up pretty quickly after I arrived at around 10 a.m. Andres did an outstanding job of keeping track of my order, and served up the menu items piping hot. Couldn't finish it all, but it was a best-choice for brunch this morning.

Not good. Actually, a tourist trap…read more We wanted fresh fried seafood. The fried 'seafood' platter contains farm-raised imported shrimp, farm-raised imported Swai (a foreign garbage-eating pond-raised fish), and farmed oysters for $26. No thanks. Ok. Switching to gumbo. Uh, their 'gumbo' is a thin broth with virtually no solid ingredients besides white rice. A very few minuscule shreds of chicken and maybe a 6-8 tiny cubes of some tasteless sausage for $17. It did come with a nice biscuit. Be aware of what's being served. Stick to the well-known real-deal restaurants. Not everything is what it claims to be. Nothing real about this ripoff. We'll never go back to this tourist trap.

Aside from all the tea and coffee selections they do have alcoholic drinks. Also some beignets! We ordered some drinks and had a seat. The workers were super friendly and we probably ended up staying and hour and playing some fun games. This cafe is definitely worth the stop - if not for the games then just for the 90's themed EVERYTHING! It's such a cool and safe space. Wish I had a place like this closer to home!

Then still took almost 20 minutes after that to bring me a very underwhelming breakfast. I didn't even take a picture of it I was so annoyed. The whole bill was $40 total for everything we got and we definitely could've spent their $40 somewhere else and had a way better experience. The only thing I like is the ambience, it has all old-school 90s merchandise and video games which entertained my son while we had to wait that long. Cute concept but the food and service and wait time needs to definitely improve. Good location for tourists. Will not return.

Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.
