For lunch we tried the fish sandwich and soup / salad combo. Fish sandwich came with fries. Fish was on the small side and fries more on the mushy side. I had the onion soup and house salad. The onion soup is not French onion, it resembles it but actually has a sweet flavor. Salad was fresh, I added grilled chicken, it came with a tiny cup of dressing. They do use bottled dressing rather than house made. Our server had 5 active tables, even though she brought ketchup and dressing to the table, she didn't offer drink refills or check back after we received our food.

The three things I look for in a brewery are a dog-friendly outdoor space, accessibility to some good grub, and (of course) some quality beers. Riverside easily accomplishes all three. The venue is fantastic. Two spacious open dining rooms, one of which opens to an inviting outdoor patio. Take a few steps down and you're in another outdoor hangout that includes another bar and a stage for live music. I didn't take advantage of the food opportunities, but it smelled delicious. They have their own kitchen on the premises and seem to specialize in BBQ. The couple of plates I saw people enjoying made me regret my decision to have a hot dog at the golf course before coming here! They have a nice variety of brews to choose from and judging by the flight I finished, there's something for every taste. Beyond beer, they had cider, wine, and some hard liquors too (if I remember right). For sure I intend to try to convince Mama to visit for a night, get a room nearby, and sip on a few drinks on a warm evening when a band is playing. They've got award-winning craft beers and the most popular is probably Railbender Ale (it's darn good). They've got some other well-known pours and a slew of others. Erie Brewing continues to put out stellar beer. Highly recommend.

Drinks can be ordered at your seat, food must be ordered at a window. Two seperate checks. Not insane, not convenient, but it's fine. Kinda sets these into the weird "Do I tip you both? Do I tip you at all?" Like it operates like a brewery but with the food "process" of Panera. Whatever. Anyway. So, before I say this - they get some credit because they "made it right" without me pressing. My food was given to another patron and I was waiting for 45 minutes before I asked what the deal was. They offered me a free app - appreciated. Meal wasn't comped but they felt bad, they fired up mine fresh, was ready in 15. Also, from the other guests, I seemed like an anomaly so I wouldn't let this fluke that they rectified be that impactful on my overall feelings. The burger was good. Their namesake burger. They had just opened at 3pm on Monday so we were the first patrons. Pretty huge portions! The restrooms were very clean. Service was great! We ordered the elk burger and chocolate lava cake. I've never had elk before. The meat was ground up very fine so the patty was very smooth. Great flavor! They even cut the burger in half for us when we told them we'd be sharing one. It's a lovely little bar! I was very happy we stopped by. If we are ever in the area again I'd like to try their seasonal drinks or some beer.

I had the pulled pork nachos. they use a homemade bbq sauce on these along with a crema. Although it is an appetizer, this was my lunch selection. Our server was amazing!
