This is my second time getting a tattoo here. The first time I got matching tats with three of my cousins and Rey Contreras was our artist. He was amazing and I love his work (he's done a few of my friend's tattoos as well). This time he was unavailable, so I went with Tasha, who also was highly recommended. I called the shop same day and was able to book an appointment. The receptionist was super accommodating and spoke to the artist to fit me in. I was beyond happy because I've been dying to get wings on my ankle in memory of my dog who passed away in February and finally got the guts to do it for my birthday, which is in a couple of days. Tasha freehanded my wings because I just couldn't decide on the exact design of the wings I wanted. Not only was she was super patient with me in choosing the right size and placement of my tattoo, but she continuously checked on me throughout, which helped ease my nerves big time. It wasn't an easy job because my ears are asymmetrical AND I had my second hole done poorly by a different shop. This shop was clean & spacious, everyone wore a mask and it was a comfortable. My friend and I came in to get some piercings on a Sunday night around 7:45 (also happened to be Easter). We had to wait about an hour which kinda sucked cuz we sat there thinking about backing out. But we were a walk-in & came closer to closing, so I understand the wait and didn't really mind because they played good music the whole time. Vanity was our piercer- she awesome and made my friend and I feel very comfortable, which was important because we were partially nude for the process. I got a little light headed and she had someone bring me gum and water very quickly, which made me feel 1000% better. The piercings turned out even and I am very satisfied with how they look. My appointment was for 4pm and they didn't see me until 5:45pm and didn't offer any explanation or apologies and when I asked to use the bathroom the receptionist on duty who was a man said "oh there's a tree in the back that you can use" and played it off as a joke but it still rubbed me the wrong way. It had me thinking "does he joke with everyone like that?" And then as we were picking fonts for my tattoo it just felt rushed and I can tell he was trying to be patient but why was it so hard for him? And then they were also talking about the R Kelly documentary and he said "Those girls were smart enough to make their own decisions" basically blaming the girls. I needed to re-pierce my earlobe after having it repaired a few months ago and decided to come here based on the generally positive reviews and accessibility for me. I did a walk in and was told the piercer was out and I decided to just wait. They have you fill out the Covid form with all your info. The piercer himself was not very personable in my opinion. I actually never got his name because he just pointed at me when he got in and was ready to start. I was interested in an additional piercing on the ear and he made it seem as if it would be more complicated based on what he would have to use. I just said forget it and just decided on the earlobe piercing. I explained my situation on having my original hole repaired due to stretching and deferred to him on ideal placement for the new piercing while also noting it probably shouldn't be where it originally was. He really wasn't trying to guide me in the process and just marked me up a few times to let him know if I liked the placement. I just went with where I thought was best as it seemed he was in a rush. I asked if they sold any jewelry as I didn't just want to walk around with 1 earring in 1 ear , he sold me another earring from what he uses for the initial piercings for $10 which is kind of insane. The earlobe piercing is $20 and not painful. I personally wouldn't come back here for anything more complex as I didn't care for the service. read more

Was looking for a new place to set up for future tattoo projects. Had a small, simple thing I wanted done. Called on a Monday to ask if they were still accepting walk-ins in COVID times. They told me to come in after 5pm, when I did everyone was attentive and friendly. The space is open, clean, and used effectively. The whole place had a very relaxed and outgoing vibe. I came to the shop for an appointment for ombré powder brows with Destiny & it was legit one of the best beauty purchases I've ever invested in! I've been researching and wanting to get my brows done for a really long time, but I've been really apprehensive about who to trust. Destiny is so knowledgeable and she's such an amazing artist - ultimately her background and talent was what made me confident that she was the perfect person to trust. She listened to all of my questions and worries, patiently answered every one of them, and paid really close attention to exactly what it was that I wanted which made me feel so secure that my eyebrows would be safe in her hands. During my appointment she drew the shape first and I was already sooo in love, she took her time and explained everything every step of the way. For the procedure she applied numbing cream so I was completely comfortable it really didn't hurt which was a pleasant surprise. I loved that she explained in detail all of the aftercare instructions, touch up info, and answered all of my follow up questions without ever seeming annoyed (I had a lot of them lol). My eyebrows look AMAZING. Like, people have stopped me in stores and outside, and all of my family and my clients are asking me where I got them done my grandma and mom even booked their appointments! I already made my appointment to get my next tattoo with her and I can't wait I know I'm going to love it as much as I love my brows.
