We showed him the receipt where they fixed it a couple weeks ago and we weren't asked for documentation then and he still refused to perform the service without payment. We paid him the $65 and he told us to take it up with corporate (we will be) and kept saying how nice he was and we shouldn't be angry. The piercer had the nerve to want a tip after this interaction. Good luck with that! Niceness + incompetence doesn't = great customer service. Stay far away from this place.

The lines are clean and exactly what I wanted. I also left a 20% tip. They use saniderm which I'm also a fan of. Thank you so much for my tattoo, I love it! For someone with metal allergies, this is a serious and potentially harmful. As for the manager -- he was rude when we walked in, didn't say hello and just asked if I had an appointment, but that paled in comparison to how he treated a grandmother who had come in excited to wait for her daughter and granddaughter for the little girl's very first ear piercing. He was really rude to her, and that's not okay. That's a memory-making moment for a family, and she deserved so much better than that.

I had THE best experience here. The shop overall is amazing as well. The setting and look of it is such a chill and relaxed environment and everyone there is so helpful and nice. They took me on a walk-in and I was able to get a touch up as well as a new little piece. Communication with them is great, if you have any questions they'll answer them all to make sure you get the best. My tattoo artist was @edtattoos (go check out his insta) and hes already done 2 of my new tattoos!! Communication was great on setting up times and showing ideas for designs. Not only did he double check his station and instruments to make sure things were sanatized and ready but he also sat with me and talked it through on sizes and styles and what would last longest and give me the best outcome. He also talked me through the process and explained what he was gonna do before he did anything. He seemed more excited about the tattoos than I did which only made me more excited to get them. What can I say about NFN that hasn't been said by other reviewers? Well, in the last 3 months I have gotten 8 tattoos from Not For Nothing(3 of the artists), and it's not just because of the exceptional quality of work or fair prices, it's the people that work there. Rey the owner is super sweet, warm and talented. Tash has the gentlest touch this side of the Mississippi, a keen eye for detail, and that bedside manner tho!! Ed is a big ol teddybear that really takes into account your vision for your ink. Elvis is normally the first person you see when you walk in, and he is DOPE AF you can't help but want to get work done there. Can't win at Mario Party to save his live, but whatevs. Anyways, 5 stars isn't enough for this place. Also, they have a Jeff Goldblum pillow in the shop. read more

Did a walk-in today to get a consultation and left with two tattoos. I had checked this place out and saw it had five stars on Yelp and Google so decided to try it since I live close by. Let me tell you that rating is well deserved. The artist that did the work (I can't believe I forgot his name!) was super patient as we tried a bunch of different designs to cover up a shit tattoo I had gotten about seven years ago (never ever get bubble letters for a tattoo). It was behind my ear so a tough place to work. The final product is an absolutely gorgeous arrowhead with great shading. You'd never know it's covering up something just by looking at it. I came to this shop for the first time in 2018 for a small tattoo on my rib cage from Destiny. I was horrified as I thought this was going to be super painful.. she was welcoming, sweet, gentle, patient, and the experience went so great I came back again to add on to the tattoo in the same area! The staff inside of the shop were also all welcoming which made the experience more pleasant. This is my 3rd time visiting Destiny but this time for Ombré Brows. After a long search to find someone to remove my back dimple piercings, I finally found the perfect place and person! The staff here are all professional and friendly. Rico removed my piercings and I have to say he was great! Super knowledgeable and put me at ease, as I was really nervous to have them removed. Everything was clean, the tools were fresh out the package and his calm demeanor helped keep me calm. Although it hurt since it involves using a blade to make small cuts, I could tell he was being as gentle as possible. I went in so nervous and left so happy! I had came to the shop with a tattoo in mind Rey suggested to go to his colleague Elliot. I told him my idea and he was as excited about my tattoo idea as I was. As it was my first tattoo he made me feel very comfortable and he was very gentle, kept me relax because I was afraid of it hurting since it was my first ever tattoo and I had chosen a big piece so It was going to take a few hours to do. I went in on Monday to get a tattoo with Angel. He didn't take long to draw up the tattoo I had in…read moremind. It was chilled, music was good to listen to while getting my tattoo done. Before I arrived to this appointment, I saw on Yelp that there was a 10% off tattoo or piercing when you check in, which made me want to come here even more other than it being close to home. When I told the guy at the front desk I had a coupon, he called his manager and they said the coupon was an old promo. If the promo was old, maybe it shouldn't be on Yelp anymore. Thanks to Angel for the great work!

This shop is AMAZING! Flew in from California and went to the Chelsea studio and got a childhood…read moredrawing tattoo from Chu and she was super sweet and polite and super cool to talk to. Everyone at the shop was super nice, they have a bar area that you can get food/drinks at for all the waiting people wait at to fill out forms and before the tattoo. They are EXTREMELY hygienic, Chu spent like 10 minutes wiping down and sanitizing her equipment and area before tattooing me and everyone (staff and guests) was required to wear masks. Glad they were being as safe as possible especially with COVID and monkeypox going around. The shop itself is super cool. Huge windows and it really has a nice open and modern concept to it. Great view of the city and very relaxing to get tattooed there. The tattoo turned out great for me! Was super fast, only lasted about 1-1.5 hours and Chu was super talkative and talked to me the whole time. She was very good about aftercare directions too and even didn't give me the second skin wrap since it itched for me on a previous tattoo. That definitely has helped as this tattoo is significantly less itchy that my previous one. Definitely would come back to get another tattoo from her. Bonus: I am vegan and they use vegan products and a vegan process! Super cool and that helped put my mind at ease about that stuff. This shop is amazing and absolutely worth your time!
