This is THE best community with the most caring and experienced coaches you'll find anywhere, but especially in the Hernando/Citrus County, Spring Hill, Brooksville area! We have tried all the local gyms and nothing comes close to the coaching, equipment, cleanliness, or the community. Try it and you'll see for yourself! My family has made this our home gym and we travel a decent distance to get there every day (sometimes several times) - it's worth it!!

Each and every time I visit Thayer's gym, I feel the 'hurt so bad, but oh so good' for at least 3 days! What I appreciate about Thayer is the fact that he takes his time to explain all workouts prior to the rounds and he walks around assisting people and ensuring that we're doing the workouts correctly in order to prevent injury. He's there with us every step of the way. The workouts are well-timed and at a great pace. It's a family environment there. Trust me, you will get a full body workout each and every visit and you will feel great inside and out when you arrive and when you leave.

I had not heard many great things, besides the basics, about Planet Fitness gyms, yet, I decided to give this one - closer to my home - a try. With their new Black Card membership for about $25 a month (including taxes), it includes a few things that helped me decide to make this my primary gym : no contract commitment, gym classes offered, personal trainer plans/ meetings, massage machines area, tanning (if needed), half off drinks, and a free guest! I love the perks and need perks if I'm paying a little more than the regular $10 per month. The gym is also very clean (however, no sauna). About 90% of the front desk employees I've encountered so far have been very kind, and I'm looking forward to reaching my goals here!
