At Haven Park up the street, an information sign tells of a Pastor in office during the buildings construction so it was interesting to 'stumble upon' the building I'd just read about. Cheryl and Dale, the owners, have a remarkable way of making you feel like family, their attention to detail is spot on, and are extremely responsive to questions. We had been planning our wedding for just under a year during the pandemic and although this was their first wedding season, you would've never known. My bridal party and I stayed the night before at the beautifully built bridal cottage, the hair and makeup team arrived and had plenty of space and lighting to set up in the air-conditioned cottage. The catering team and bartenders that we hired had plenty of space to set up and work, with a full bar and full-size refrigerator, sink for cleaning, and dedicated area for grilling and preparing. Our DJ was set up on the main level on the dance floor ensuring our guests had adequate space for proper celebration. Every question or request we had on the wedding day was answered and met, which was great because that meant we could relax with peace of mind knowing the ceremony site and barn would be ready! The venue itself is so incredibly maintained with acres of green grass, gorgeous hills (makes for excellent photos!), newly built bathrooms, and a brand-new fire pit/patio area, which our guests loved. If you're looking for a well-maintained, rustic style red barn to host your wedding at, look no further than This Old Barn.

When we were there six years ago, it was Covid times so we had to be separated two different tables, but we still had fun. The bartender was fun. He actually turned us on to a root beer drink that we have made on many trips since. During our trip yesterday, the hostess wasn't very friendly as person on earth. The hostess was not there when we got there so we waited a few minutes and then thought we needed to venture into the restaurant a little further to find someone. She then greeted us by telling us we should've stayed at the hostess table to be sat. She then continue to make slight comments such as when you're ready I can actually see you and things such like that I don't normally write reviews where I have to add that some of the staff members were rude, but I do wanna note that. Our waitress , I believe her name was Rae, was fantastic. She was absolutely hilarious super friendly. And worked with all of our allergies make sure she noted it on all of our food orders. The food was delicious . The nachos were amazing. Two of my friends ordered drinks . The beer flight was cute. They came in little mason jar glasses with handles. Overall, I would recommend this place. I do plan to come back when I'm in the area.

The brewery is good but the food is meh- cheese from the beer covers most dishes so if you want good food, go elsewhere. If you want good beer, ok. I ordered nachos with chicken- little shredded chicken with a lot of cheese on soggy tortilla chips. My sangria did not have any fruit- just liquid. Service is friendly but sketchy- waitstaff will bring you your drink and disappear for a period of time. Sorry to diss a popular local establishment.
