Everything is prepared with care every time we've been. We went early, and the line was surprisingly shorter than the last time we were there, which was around the corner the aesthetic both inside and out is charming. Staff is very friendly and happy to help you make a selection. This occasion we had their proper breakfast meals, but in the past, we've had their pastries, such as croissants, muffins, and cinnamon mine. All which have been outstanding. Definitely one of the better bakeries in the city

I was in town for a work trip, and this bakery was very close to my hotel. Stopped in the first morning and got a pastry, biscuit sandwich, and a hot latte to go. That was so good, I went back the second day and ate in. That day I tried their breakfast plate, and that was excellent. High praise for the bacon, which comes from the butcher shop next door. The fried potatoes were also great! I opted for their sourdough toast, and enjoyed it so much I got a loaf to take home when I left. Their coffee drinks are very good - I enjoyed my latte both days. Service was very prompt - you order at the counter and they will bring food to your table. I was there mid-morning on a Friday, and it was packed! It's a really nice vibe, with an outdoor patio and the indoor seating area. After eating here, I can understand why they were nominated for a James Beard award. If you are ever in Chattanooga, this is worth the effort! 5/5, would absolutely go back!

Stopped in on a weekday afternoon while visiting Chattanooga. As mentioned in my Honey Seed review, I learned that I am not a fan of Montreal bagels, but I think I liked this one a little more than the other. I also got a chocolate croissant, which was yummy. I was a little concerned when I couldn't find the chocolate inside, but it was there!! My gf got a gingerbread cookie, which smelled so strongly but she said didn't have a strong taste. We also got a loaf of sourdough bread, which was good but maybe not as sourdough-y as we were hoping for. It was pretty crowded but the employee who helped us was very nice. We just got the items to go but there's a nice little seating area and patio.

Always a must stop on trips through Chattanooga (note: closed Sundays!) They have pizza on Fridays but the real gems are the baked goods. Saffron croissants, yes please! The raspberry croissants and scones are delicious. The seeded bread reminds me of my favourite German bakeries. So so good!

Niedlov's is such a great spot in Chattanooga! The space is cozy inside with lots of light and has an outdoor patio as well. It gets very busy (it's popular because it's so good!) and there's often a line, but at off hours, there's often seats. Here are some of my faves: Apple caramel danish (seasonal): amazing! Whipped cream and caramel on top, stuffed with apples and apple cream cheese inside Raspberry pistachio scone: perfect balance of pistachios and raspberry (to me, that means heavy on the pistachios!) Very natural flavors with big pieces of pistachio within the scone. Gruyere bacon chive scone: buttery, savory, delicious Pistachio stick: laminated pastry, light with a pistachio frangipane and cream inside Cruffin: I tried the cookies & cream one--moister than others I've had and delightful. They change the flavor every week, I think. Brussels sprouts: This became a regular lunch for me (bacon, Brussels sprouts, ranch); tossing it in ranch dressing is genius English muffins: So plush and fluffy! Soaks up butter really well. Delightful! Miso kale and shiitake skillet- delicious, savory, and cheesy! Loved it--great depth of flavor The sourdough bread is also great! The Friday night pizza was delicious as well, although quite oily. Honestly, you can't go wrong with the menu here--I only wish I'd tried even more things. Staff can be very friendly and generous, and they have a shelf with half-price breads as well as a pastry happy hour. This spot is truly a gem!

On my recent adventure to Chattanooga, my friend told me that I had to try Niedlov's Bakery, and it was truly everything it was described to be. I was hesitant when we arrived, seeing a line out the door and around the corner. However that line moved so fasts Nied did amazing getting people in and out. They had a huge selection of merch that was themed perfect to their mission and goals. The "We're all bread inside" design was probably my favorite. For meals, I got the Niedlov's Breakfast and my friend got the Ham and Gruyère Skillet. I loved what I got, but when I go again I think I will try a skillet because they all smelled amazing! I also got a Gruyère Bacon Chive Scone and a Orange Pan Suisse to take on the road. Both were outstanding. For my drink, I got one of their Blueberry Basil Matcha. I was a little nervous about the basil, but I can genuinely say it was my favorite drink of my entire trip. Lastly I want to say a special thank you to the staff. We thought we weren't going to be able to find a table, but when we found one at the last second, they actually offered to switch my meal to a skillet since they can't do those to go. Absolutely a five star experience and I am already anticipating my next visit.

A great spot for breakfast. They have a great selection of sandwiches and skillets, as well as really cool pastries that I'd recommend trying. The outdoor area is very nice, just make sure you get there early as the line was out the door!

Absolutely loved this cafe to bits! It had been on my list for a while now and I finally got a chance to visit. There was a wait because it was a weekend but it wasn't too bad. I ordered the seeded sourdough, a sourdough sandwich, chai, a cookie (whose name I'm forgetting) sweet and savory scones. Everything was was crazy delicious! I'm not even a sandwich person and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even wanting seconds lol. The chai was so refreshing. The scones were indescribably flavorful. I could literally visit this bakery everyday if I lived closer. Worth the journey and a revisit!

Was really looking forward to trying this spot as there was a line out the door on a Saturday afternoon. There were still some pastries left. I got the last banana monkey bread, almond croissant, and chocolate croissant. Croissants are soft and easy to bite into...if you like those kinds of croissants (my husband). I prefer crispy outsides and more filling - there could definitely be more almond paste and the chocolate batons were only on the left side if the chocolate croissant - wished it was even/there was another baton on the left side. Texture of croissants reminded me of the texture of Costco croissants rather than from a french bakery. The banana monkey bread was good, but didn't get any banana or cinnamon flavor. Maybe their bread is better? I think they are known for that.

My daughter and I visited Niedlov's on our final day in Chattanooga. It was walking distance from our hotel "The Choo Choo Chalet". I was a little nervous that the line out the door was going to take forever, but it moved pretty fast. They had a a wide range of bakery items, breakfast foods, and coffee. My daughter and I both ordered specialty coffees, shared an egg breakfast sandwich, and took home some cookies. Everything was delicious! They have a cozy patio area with a small fire pit. We enjoyed sitting outside, even though it was a little chilly.

They have solid pastries and breakfast items. The scones were the highlight of our brunch. The lavender blueberry scone was a beautiful blend and pairing that worked well. It was one of the best scones I've had. It was our favorite out of the two cookies and the cinnamon roll. The breakfast foods like the egg croissant was flakey and buttery. It had a nice crispy crunch and a soft chewy inside. It was definitely a good croissant but not the best.

One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

It was early in the morning so there wasn't a wait and I was greeted and sat at the bar ( my choice). I placed my drink order ( water) with lemon. The servers were nice and made many recommendations about their massive menu. Ultimately i decided on the Nashville hot chicken on a biscuit with"homemade" biscuit with a side of gravy and fruit. To their credit, they chicken was an entire breast of chicken which was very nice, the flavor was a 6/10 after reading all the glowing reviews about this place was a HUGE letdown. The biscuit was dry and had a very mealy texture and it wasn't buttered 3/10 for the biscuit. The side of white gravy was bland and did the sandwich no flavors ( Hahahaha!) The fruit cup was a medley of berries which were the previously frozen varieties. This meal fell flat for me. The best thing about this meal was all the pretty waitresses. I had such high hopes for this place but the meal missed the mark in a major way. Oh! The wall art and decor was pretty cool too if you like modern motifs.

It was really smooth and a very nice quality. The second drink was an iced latte from their specialty menu that had been renamed for a special event I was attending. Not only were they slinging drinks and working the event, but they were just amazingly personable and kind to all of our group. Location - most importantly though was the stunning location.
