I came across this place on my way through town, the reviews were great and the photos looked good too, so why not. It was early in the morning so there wasn't a wait and I was greeted and sat at the bar ( my choice). I placed my drink order ( water) with lemon. The servers were nice and made many recommendations about their massive menu. Ultimately i decided on the Nashville hot chicken on a biscuit with"homemade" biscuit with a side of gravy and fruit. To their credit, they chicken was an entire breast of chicken which was very nice, the flavor was a 6/10 after reading all the glowing reviews about this place was a HUGE letdown. The biscuit was dry and had a very mealy texture and it wasn't buttered 3/10 for the biscuit. The side of white gravy was bland and did the sandwich no flavors ( Hahahaha!) The fruit cup was a medley of berries which were the previously frozen varieties. This meal fell flat for me. The best thing about this meal was all the pretty waitresses. I had such high hopes for this place but the meal missed the mark in a major way. Oh! The wall art and decor was pretty cool too if you like modern motifs.

Nice ambiance. There was about a 40 min wait so We ended up getting pastries and coffees at the take out and then sat on the couch to work. Which is what we wanted anyways. Worked out well. Friendly service and good coffee.

Milk & Honey is known as the best of the best for brunch in Chattanooga, and after eating here I stand by that statement. I remember back in the day when Milk & Honey had late hours. One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Milk and Honey, we enjoyed yall! A convenient location to walk from hotels downtown, just across the bridge. We were seated promptly and had our drink orders taken. We got two juices the liquid gold and another I have forgotten. To eat i had the spicy chicken and waffles (5/5, dense waffles so you will be full!) I also tried the croissant that was delicious as well and served warm (5/5). My date got the big kid breakfast, on brand lol. She was satisfied as well. Appreciate the experience Milk and Honey, ill be back and i expect almond croissants!

Love this place, definitely recommend. Great food, coffee and ambiance. My server was Zack and he was absolutely amazing! Best service I've had in years.

Service was great and the food was delicious! I got the iced salted caramel latte with an egg, sausage, and cheese biscuit. I subbed the biscuit for a croissant. It's not listed as an option on the menu, but I highly recommend it! The croissant is soft, buttery, and flaky...literally all you could ask for in a croissant! The fruit was also fresh and my latte was tasty, too. I will definitely be back!

We went for brunch on Sunday and there was 45 minute wait. The service was really great. People are all very friendly and warm. Food was also on point and generous. There are good vegetarian and vegan options available. I loved how huge the beverages menu was. It was a busy ambience but loved the vibe. Highly recommend!!

Incredible breakfast spot in downtown Chattanooga. If you only get one choice don't miss this place. Phenomenal omelettes, coffee and local sourdough.

Best breakfast! The ambience, the vibe well staffed the food was delicious, had the avocado toast with a beet juice blend. Cinnamon roll. Definitely got one of the nicest servers, even the manager came by to say hello. Super nice, highly recommend.

Tanka Jahari here Pt.2, on a very serious note, shout out to our server Tanner. He was on that grind, and it was pretty busy. The last time we came in, we felt like our last server didn't check on us enough, and I really wanted syrup. Regardless of that, she was very sweet. (Again, I didn't ask, but by the time I could, I was about done with my food.) Tanner came and checked on us a lot, and I got my syrup this time (I asked this time lolll). But thank you, Tanner, for making our experience smooth even how busy it was

Ask the Community - Milk & Honey

Any gluten free biscuit options or bread?

Hi Molly, we offer Udi's Gluten Free bread but do not have a gluten free biscuit option. We also offer a gluten free Lemon Poppyseed muffin. Our omelets are gluten free and so are our fries, we cook them in a separate fryer to keep them this way.

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

I doubt they allow dogs inside other than service animals. They have a patio though, they may allow pets out there, a lot of restaurants do. I'd give them a call to verify

Is this place open tomorrow Sep 2, 2019?

    Yes!

Does rupi kaer own this place? or did she write her collection based off of this? i really need to know

No. Taylor Monen is the owner.

We ordered the veggie omelette and the Broadbent omelette, and both were generously filled with fresh, well-balanced ingredients. Nothing overpowered anything else. Instead of relying on heavy spices or sauces, the flavors came naturally from the quality and proportion of the ingredients themselves. The sourdough toast was exceptional, with a crisp crust and great texture, and my cappuccino was exactly what I hoped for--smooth, balanced, and expertly made. The setting was just as enjoyable. Housed in a beautifully restored historic train station, the atmosphere has genuine character that complements the food rather than trying to distract from it. A breakfast that's driven by quality ingredients instead of gimmicks. I would gladly return and highly recommend it.

Knowledgeable, showed genuine concern, and were able to make accommodations without a lot of back-and-forth. Good selection on the menu meant we weren't working from a short list of options either. Food was good across both visits--consistent, which matters as much as a single great meal. My son particularly liked the Brunch Sausage Burger. Looked good, and seemed entirely appropriate after a late night. Large space, tables well spread out, and located not far from downtown. Easy place to settle in whether you're with a crowd or just the two of you. Good for: small kids, business meals, casual meals, groups Would come back. Already did once.

I absolutely loved the décor. The menu is extensive, and it was hard to choose just one thing, so my friend and I ordered two juices (Dope Beets & Let's Kick It Out) and two plates (the Grilled Pimento Panini and the Buddha Bowl) to share. The juices were phenomenal. Honestly, I would go back just for those. I really wanted to love the food, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. I even ordered a cookie to try to redeem the meal, but that missed the mark as well. I felt especially bad because I brought a non-vegan friend and didn't want their first impression of vegan food to be a disappointing one, but sadly, that's how it turned out. That said, I'd be willing to return and try something different. Maybe it was just an off day, or perhaps the dishes we chose just weren't the best representation of the menu. I'd definitely come back for the juices, and I'm curious to try the smoothies too. Those might be a winner. I really want this place to thrive and wish them all the best! I really love their concept and support their mission 100%.
