    Coconut cream pie.
    Tranissa B.

The service and food was outstanding! We were driving by and they were the only restaurant open after the snow storm so we decided to try it. They did not disappoint. I ordered the Caesar salad, southwestern shrimp soup of the day, and fries. Hubs had the fried pork chop special w/ premium salad and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was so delicious the portions were great the staff was knowledgeable and super friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and don't leave with out the coconut cream pie and peach cobbler it's better than Grandmas.

    Not a medium steak.

I've been to Asiel's twice this month…read more The first time, I went with my husband. We got there on a Sunday around 11:30am, and it was packed. We had to wait about five minutes for a table. Our server was very nice. He came to our table not long after we sat down and took our drink order and brought our drinks out quickly. Then he took our food order. My husband had a party melt and I had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. I also ordered two scrambled eggs. We did not have to wait too long for the food. A young male server brought us our food, and I told him I was missing my eggs. He said he'd check on that and never returned. By the time our server came, I was done eating so I said no to the eggs even though he said he would go get them. He also apologized profusely, and he seemed genuine. The food was good. It wasn't the best I have had, but it was decent. The prices were decent as well. The second time I went to Asiel's, I went with my 10 year old daughter on a Friday around 11:45am. It was't at all busy. There were maybe like three tables with two people each. My daughter and I waited almost five minutes for someone to come seat us, but no one ever came or even acknowledged us. I won't go back to Asiel's after this last time. First forgetting my food and not bringing it to me after I let them know I didn't receive it and second because we were not acknowledged at all even after waiting close to five minutes to be sat.

The menu is intentionally restrained in structure, yet broad in direction cheese trays. unexpected, almost out of place for a small establishment, tapas as a newer addition, a strong emphasis on wine with a sweet wine flight, alongside steaks, sides, pastas, and even burgers. There's ambition in the variety, though not always cohesion. Seafood leans heavily on tilapia, which appears disproportionately across the fish selection. Not inherently negative, but noticeable. The ribeye, priced at $33.95, carried mixed execution. tender in parts, but inconsistent with noticeable dry sections. The scallops arrived cold, which significantly disrupted what should have been a highlight dish. Service was not the issue. Atmosphere was calm, controlled, and easy to sit in without distraction. The space itself does not fight the experience. it simply holds it. In totality, the restaurant lands in an uneven space: capable, sometimes enjoyable, but inconsistent in execution where it matters most. 4/5. good, but not well. -L.T

There is a wrap around bar in the center with two dining rooms on bith sides and a patio. I started off with a cucumber margarita and my wife and daughter got a jumbo classic Rita and strawberry lemonade. Our friends ordered some queso for the whole table. The menu is vast and went to my go to with the fajitas Mexicana. These were different in that they came with a load of poblanos and onions. There is no price on the menu, all it says is mkt. I asked what the price was and she indicated it was $25 for 1. Now I don't have problem paying for this but when you send out beef and try to pass it off as skirt steak and charge a premium for it you are cheating the guest! What they sent out was not skirt steak, it was sliced wafer thin to appear you are getting alot. What I did get was an overload of peppers and onions. I also had to ask for the chicken soup that came with the dinner. Service was OK. I can't speak on the other menu items but can tell you that my wife enjoyed her quesadillas and our daughter said her birria tacos were so-so. Overall probably won't be back.

A few check ins was great but don't come so frequently that it interferes with dinner.
