I placed an order without realizing I had selected the wrong date for pickup. I arrived ten minutes before the bakery was about to close only to realize that the order was placed for the next day. I was so fortunate that they went out of their way to complete the order and they did this all with a smile. Their customer service is amazing and I am forever thankful for taking the time to complete my order even though it was a mistake I had made. I am forever grateful to them. Amazing cakes, so far they've been consistent. Left them a four star because the staff didn't want to place a order for delivery to Turlock 30 min before cut off time. I was ready to even pay the $30 charge which is a little on the high side. Let's just say they lost a sale of $200 worth of desserts I was buying for a birthday party. read more

This place is so delicious! You really can do no wrong, my favorite flavors are pecan, white chocolate, and lemon!! They're the best at room temperature! Love trying the samples they're all amazing! The employees are very sweet and efficient, never had issues with anyone! Don't forget to get a punch card cause you will be back! Great for a birthday, thank you, or just because gift! Come here more often than I should. But the cakes are very good. Often I forget to check in as I am in and out in about a minute. No complaints about the service. They are friendly and fast. I enter, get greeted and offered the sample of the day. Say no thanks. Order a couple Red Velvet or White Chocolate Raspberry, pay and leave. That simple. I have read complaints about how long they been sitting. I have no clue. They taste delicious. I have had much worse from bakeries that claim their cakes or pastries are baked daily. My daughter ordered me a red velvet bundt cake for mother's day. It was so beautiful and ot tasted wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place based on the cake that we had today. They did such an awesome job with the decorations and all the little details. I've never seen such a beautiful bundt cake before. The cakes here are good albeit too sweet for my taste. The frosting is lathered on which most people seem to enjoy, but I don't. Flavor variety is limited but they do have specialty cake flavors throughout the year that they rotate. Pricing is a bit steep, especially for the larger decorated cakes. The interior is very clean, cute, and colorful. Service for the most part is very good but the workers don't go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Even though this place is close to where I live, the cakes aren't good enough to have me craving them often. Perhaps one day they will have a specialty flavor that changes my opinion. Went In the other day and was warmly greeted by friendly staff with delicious samples to try great customer service experience and cake was pretty good we got the chocolate chip one but will say it was wrapped with plastic so some of the frosting came off when I tried to take off :( and kinda wish I would have got the one we sampled (snickerdoodle) but overall it was still very good!!! They have really good cakes. My husband got the mini carrot bundt cake and I got the chocolate chip bundt cake. Very delicious and moist with great cream cheese frosting. As we were walking out I tried a lemon cake sample and it was so good I wish I would have got that instead. I think it was the best lemon cake I've ever had. Finally NBC has arrived to Modesto! I have been waiting for this for so long! This location did not disappoint. The cakes are so light and airy. They really aren't heavy at all and that's what I love the most about them. They frosting is also not too heavy or sweet. It has the perfect amount of sugar. My personal favorite is the Lemon cake. Not too tart, not too sweet; just perfect. This location, like many others, sells aprons, cupcake liners, hand towels, coffee mugs, cards and much more. The staff has always been helpful and kind. Just go in and try a sample. After tasting it you will not be able to resist buying some cakes!!! You can even order them in the bite size sample sizes for parties! If you buy the lunch bag too, it is the perfect size to carry four little cakes and you get a discount every time you use it to buy them. Service is great, product is awesome, and it's not overpriced. The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays which is when I usually feel like relaxing with some cake with my family. read more
