The food may be well crafted but so is the greed. Watching the store reduce hours and shrunk the size of the mini Bundt cakes is sad but prices jumped. . I always jumped just in 3 years. 5$. Always covered the cost and taxes then they jumped . Not .25 cents. But 50 cents then 25 cents again it now over 6$. To get one . I called other in state locations and many are still at 5.25. Out the door. . This location closes early and seems cost cutting to where it's visibly made the cakes shrink. Oh and to avoid the health dept label as an eatery they can't supply forks to eat your cake as soon as you leave . You have to BRING YOUR OWN. They also have their own two parking slots. Customer service was helpful. They answered all the questions I had and provided great advice. My daughter was gifted a free bundlet for her birthday! QR code provided to join for perks. The store is very small making any visit a 'quick in and out', I'ld say no more than 15min max. There's a fare amount of flavors, I recall at least 8. Bundtinis perfect for sharing as gifts or coworkers. White Chocolate raspberry one of my fav. Customer service just wasn't warm and friendly. Drop by on a weekday and it wasn't busy. Came here for an 8" cake for a birthday and loved it! I wish they had more options for flavors, but we got two of the 8" double chocolate chip Bundt cakes and they were delicious! They have options for sizes, decorations, a display of cards to choose from, and the employees are very helpful. They also have "Bundtinis" which are mini cakes, perfect for sampling flavors or for a social gathering. i didn't care for the icing, but everyone else loved it. This is going to be short and quick. I wish I could give a higher rating, but I have mixed experiences. They have provided the Bundtinis to a hamburger place next door to it. They provide this little cakes for them to serve with their milkshakes. They put their straw through them. I've had one or two as a novelty, and yes, the cakes were quite good. If all my experiences like were like this, I would probably give them a 5* rating. Today I went in for a snack, and to see if I could find something. I am diabetic. So, I have to count carbs. Love it! My diet went straight to hell the second I found this place. The chocolate chocolate chip is amazing. The carrot is to die for. The White chocolate raspberry will make you take back stuff you didn't steal. The frosting is awesome, just enough sweet to make the super moist cake even better but not so sweet that your teeth hurt. All the employees we have encountered have been real sweet and very helpful. Catering Review! I originally had ordered catering for my baby shower in March. Long story short... I went into labor the morning of my shower. We called them as we were in our way to the hospital and they were so nice and understanding! They told us it wasn't a problem at all and to just give them a call when we rescheduled the party! We finally rescheduled three months later and had the party last night. The cakes were absolutely to die for and we got so many compliments! The first time I went to this location was few weeks ago. I had originally went to the location in Nashville, few years back and loved it. This located is nestled in the gateway fountains, outdoor strip mall. It's one out of 2 places that's actually open as of right now. First day I went was on a weekend, and I didn't know they closed at 6pm. Got there around 5:30. They were packed and busy. So I waited on line, no problem there. I also had a coupon that was sent directly to my mailing address. Wanted to use it before it expired. Waited on line, tried a sample and loved it. I decided to get the same cake as the sample. It was confetti cake. I asked for the cake without frosting, if it could be put on the side. She said sure. When receiving the bunt cake, I checked for the icing on the side. There was no icing. This woman then proceeded to tell me they don't put the icing on the side. Which was fine with me, so then I asked her if she could just swap it out for a regular bunt with the icing on the top. Since she said they couldn't do that. Which I'm confused to why? It makes no sense. Maybe not everyone wants icing filled everywhere. I didn't think it was a big deal. However the eye roll she gave to me, just because I asked for that option was completely rude and uncalled for. I was very polite. I even said sorry for the hassle and still she was rude. I'm sorry but I didn't think you need to roll your eye at someone just because they request something different. Second time around I decided to give this place another try/ figured it was a hectic day and things happen. Boy was I wrong! This place has to teach their employees how to be respectful and not rude ladies,( would prefer to use another word) that think they know it all and don't have the time of day to listen. This place has the potential to become amazing in this small town because their products are amazing!! I called in a bundtini order during my lunch time today. I wanted to surprise a co-worker who helps me a lot on problem files for her 19th work anniversary. I was told that because I wanted specific flavors that aren't in the regular bundtini pack that I'd need to pay over the phone and it would take 15 minutes. That was ok with me because I was about 20 minutes away. I arrive 20 minutes after my phone call and stand in line another 10. When I get to the counter and state that I'm there to pick up a call in order for my bundtinis the lady tells me ok, she'll be right back. She comes back with the guy who took my order. You can tell he's flustered and he looks at me and says, "I'm sorry, we've been so busy that I haven't even started your order yet"...I did not want to hear this! As a customer I figured you'd probably be busy, that's why I called the order in. I know things happen but my time is important. To be asked can I wait about 10 minutes was not good customer service to me...remember, I've already given you 30 minutes and that was plenty of time. Plus, my credit card info is written on a torn sheet of paper and I can only hope that it ended up torn up and placed in the trash. In hindsight I should have had him give it to me. The cakes are good but I'm not pleased with this experience at all. Call in customers are just as important...our money is green too! read more
