First time having rolled ice cream. This was spectacular. Thai Tea ice cream is just amazing. I also had a lychee green tea with lychee jelly. I'm not one for sweet drinks so I asked for 30% sugar and it was very sweet so be cautious if you don't like sweet. Little hidden gem. I found this place looking for boba drinks but turns out the have a lot more than just boba drinks. Their specialty seem to be ice cream. Rolled ice cream to be exact. The parking is shared with all businesses in the plaza and probably easy to miss. The service can be improved but nothing to complain. Stopped in with the family on a Sunday afternoon. The presentation of the ice cream is cool ( no pun intended) since it comes in 4 rolls. I had the zen, which for me was awful, but that's what I get for ordering something I couldn't pronounce. The kids got just plain chocolate and vanilla, it was good ice cream. They skimp a little when adding toppings but it was all good. The wife got the java and it was good ice cream if you like cold coffee. They pour up your ice cream right there and add the toppings (up to three toppings free) from the list. Then you're on your way. It's a lot of ice cream in my opinion. We walked into the small shop to a line of 20 people and it's 30 degrees outside. Thought to myself, "this must be good!" The ice cream did not let me down! They make the ice cream right in front of you by adding liquid ingredients and pouring into a frozen table of some sort. Well this place was just meh. The ordering experience was a bit annoying. They had a speaker system that had a lot of feedback which made the man working there hard to understand. We asked for dairy free milk teas though I do not think we're truly dairy free because they seemed to use the same stick mixer. Thankfully we did not ask for dairy free due to an allergy. I do not think we will return. No exaggeration - the matcha zen ice cream flavor is the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Matcha is a hard flavor to get. It either taste fake, too sweet or like grass. I was worried I wouldn't like the graham cracker in it but it's just perfect. Been to Top Cold Grill twice and got the match zen both times. I'll have to get it a few more times before I even think about trying another flavor. The employees look a little tired and aren't super friendly but I can see that they are working hard and maybe not the easiest job to roll the ice cream. My rating is solely on the places design as it has a major flaw but the food is on point. The food is amazing to say the least. The drinks are made perfect and so fast. The icecream is so full of flavor and very very delicious. The service is very fast and they get to you in no time. Now the atmosphere is mellow at every visit and just in and out. My big issue is there fish tank and the seating. The seating is very sparse and it's very hard to know where to sit. But don't get me started on the fish. They have huge fish at least 7 packed in one tiny tank. This is very inhumane and everytime it just looks worse. They are so crowded they can barely move and you can tell some are sickly. They need to take way better care of their fish and put them in a pond as koi fish belong in them. It's just not ok and I hate having to walk in and see that read more

As much as I would like to leave a review of the ice cream, I can't. Because I didn't have any. Allow me to explain. We were going here for the first time and we're really excited to try it. However, when I walked up to the storefront, I was immediately drawn to how dusty and dirty the window decorations were. A THICK layer of dust on everything in the window, including the displays of ice cream. But I let that go, because I wanted some ice cream. But as we walked inside I was immediately smacked in the face with an odor most foul. I expected it to smell of vanilla and other sweet treat flavors. Instead, a warm, nausea inducing aroma wafted over my olfactory glands. Let me paint you a picture. Imagine, if you will, a questionable-at-best sushi restaurant. Now, imagine that sushi restaurant having an aquarium. Now, picture that aquarium having not been cleaned in several months; the algae clinging to the glass so thick that some of the weaker inhabitants have long succumbed to the clutches of death. Now, envision that the questionable-at-best sushi shop with the revolting aquarium was abandoned a week ago at a moments notice, raw fish left out, and with no power in the summers sweltering heat. THAT is what the Top Cold Grill ice cream shop smelled like. I don't know if they have a plumbing issue or a sanitation issue, but they need to get it figured out quickly.
