My best friend picked up her order as she had placed it online, and I ordered the Pineapple Upside Down Bundlette. OH MY GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I couldn't wait to taste the cake. This was my first time with this flavor and I was excited. I decided I just wanted to taste it to satisfy my curiosity so I opened it and I took a fork full. HOWEVER!!!!!!!! I got a white chocolate raspberry mini Bundt cake and omg. It was moist and the frosting on top was the perfect amount. I had asked if I could have more and she told me it would be a few minutes, I decided I could wait the few minutes. For my almost 80th birthday my children came the weekend before. Originally were to have a few more people coming but the snow derailed plans. My daughter wanted to get me a special cake and found this special place. Bundt cakes with flowers and their signature cream cheese frosting. Many different flavors to choose from. I would post pictures but they aren't on my phone. I received a chocolate chip chocolate Bundt cake with the signature icing, an 8 & an 0 candles, purple & violet pansies and hydrangeas silk like flowers in the center with a flowering can and bird. I love all shades of purple and enjoy gardening( among other things). I'm a newbie to nothing Bundt cakes, so far I've tried the lemon, red velvet, and lemon raspberry bundlets. All of them have been moist and delicious. This review would have been 5 stars, I'm taking a star off for the ok customer service. The customer service isn't bad but it doesn't wow me. First time I came here I purchased the lemon bundlet but I really wanted the Keylime flavor that was advertised in the store. The person at the counter told me they no longer carry that flavor and it was seasonal. So the advertisement was misleading. Second time I came here I wanted the lemon bundlet and the person at the counter told me they do not have that flavor available. I came during the week earlier in the day and I was surprised they didn't have any since it's a flavor they normally have. This is a new review for this location. I called on Thursday May 11th, 2023 to place an order and the lady on the phone told me to go online immediately. I said to her I do not have a computer near by plus I am driving and she immediately said well find a computer or use your phone. You could tell she was not available or occupied but a simple please hold I am with a customer would have been great. Then guess what? She hung up the phone. I called her her 3times back to back and she did not pick up. By the way this was my second experience. The first one happened when I called to place an order and the staff placed me on hold for over 10mins. Each time I called back she would decline the call. I thought that was so ridiculous. I wonder if the owner would be available to see this message because something needs to be done immediately. The next closest location to me is In columbia and I have never had an issue. This particular shop is a black-owned franchise. Each time I have visited, I have always had a pleasant experience. One day my online order didn't go through during an Xmas rush, and they were still able to get my order together with little wait time. Impressive because I thought I would left hanging. Going in and picking up an order is always an option, but I shoot for ordering online so that I can be sure my order is available before I make the drive all the way across town. Even if it's a short drive, there is nothing worse than having your mind set on something that isn't available. As a whole, Bundt cakes are a nice alternative to the classic cupcake. The flavors can be very sweet, so getting the buntinis allow you to try multiple flavors without the complete bundt cake overload. As soon as I walked into the well lit establishment I was greeted by the cashier.i immediately went straight to the display to decide what choices I was going to make.
