I'm so glad we booked Cake by Jason! Let me start by saying Jason is an old high school friend of mine and Jason has ALWAYS been such a bubbly bright soul. He was always so friendly to everyone, kind to everyone, and he was just so sweet every time I was around him. With that said, I always had any cake for any occasion made by him. I've referred him to others for their cakes, etc. every cake has had such detail focused on and Jason is seriously the king of cakes! For our wedding, if you can't tell from the pictures, I was SHOCKED when I saw the cake. The preview picture was ok, but this cake dropped jaws on the floor! A three-tier cake that embodied our horoscopes, had rainbows in it, crystals, a red carpet, and the moon and stars as a cake topper! All was genius! It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese and strawberry filling. I didn't want to freeze it because it is so freaking delicious! Overall, I wouldn't have gone with anyone else for my wedding cake but Jason and the cake was made with such love and inspiration! read more

Celebrating a family member's 4th of July holiday birthday was easy with Cake down the street. Some relatives have food sensitivities, so I was stressing about a birthday cake until I remembered Cake by Jason offers Vegan options. I was able to purchase 3 vanilla and 3 chocolate cupcakes which were delicious (especially the dairy free frosting - omg!). I found this place on Yelp and ordered my sister's graduation cake. It was extremely easy to place my order online. I got a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream layered inside. It came out perfect and everyone said they loved it! I personally enjoyed it more eating it the following day after it had been refrigerated over night. What a great cake shop! I found the shop through Yelp and was coming into order a custom gluten-free cake for a birthday celebration coming up. Not knowing exactly what I was looking for, the staff were outstanding assisting me with what I needed. I placed the order and paid for the cake and was about to leave when I decided that I wanted a treat for myself and I got a triple chocolate cheesecake cupcake which was out of this world. When I got home, I found out the birthday girl wanted an all chocolate cake and knowing that that was an option, I called the store back and asked if there was a way that we could modify what I had ordered for something else. Since it was more than a week before the cake was being picked up, they said it was no problem. Really great store, super location, delicious cake items, and they even have dog biscuits and pupcakes for our furry friends. Can't say enough about this place and I highly recommend to visit here if you're looking for a cake for a special occasion and if you need a gluten-free cake they have many options for you to choose from. I love it here. Stopped by a couple of days before my birthday. I was only gonna use my $5.00 off birthday reward to get a cupcake. I entered the always clean store. Immediately was greeted and asked how I could be helped. Although, I came in for a cupcake, it was an already made cake that caught my eye. Between the pleasant service and the never disappointing treats.......I ended up purchasing a cake for my birthday. I was able to use my reward on the cake. I was given direction on how to keep the cake fresh until I was ready to serve. I left in the fridge until 2-3 hours before serving time. My red velvet birthday cake was on point. I was not disappointed. The icing did have an after eating coating on my tongue. That was the one thing I didn't care for. Overall, I give the cake a 8 out of ten. read more

One of the few places I can go for a dairy free dessert. I usually get the cupcakes. But today I got cupcakes and a jar since they had the vegan version of both. I will say the vegan cupcakes flavors are very limited. I would like to see more than vanilla and chocolate variations but also I'm thankful I can eat them. The jar was pretty good. Thick and creamy. Perhaps a bit too much crème. Though they are perfectly sweet the cupcakes lack flavor. They are still very fresh though. Service was polite, informative, and fast. Y'all gotta come see the inside of this place, it's beautiful. And if you can eat dairy the selections are so much wider. I just wish the had sitting with strawberry or lemon in a cupcake. I have heard about this place for a while and I was finally able to stop in. The employees were all very nice and they had plenty of people working so there was no wait. The place was very clean and colorful! I ordered the vanilla cupcake with buttercream chocolate frosting. I wanted to play it safe since it was my first time visiting. I was greeted upon entering and immediately help. I purchased 3 cupcakes and 2 cupcake jars. When I got home 40 minutes later they held up rather nicely..
