I miss the pre-Covid days when NBC had little samples to try different flavors, particularly the seasonal ones. Their cakes are consistently tasty and moist. My dad loves their red velvet but I like trying a different flavor every time I go. They've even expanded to include two flavors of gluten free cakes on regular rotation. I called and let them know I didn't get a serving knife with my serving set and they went above and beyond to get it to me and threw in some freebies which I didn't expect. The service for this location is amazing! I had accidentally placed two orders for the same dozen bundlets online, and I hadn't realized it because the website was not showing my orders! They called me the day before ask if I wanted the two orders or if it was a mistake. They kindly refunded one of the orders, and the day of my order, someone called to ask if the pickup location was correct because the website somehow got a hold of an old address. Warning To People With Food Allergies. All of these cakes contain Artificial Food Flavorings aka Lab created Chemicals. I called the West Hills store to ask what the artificial flavorings were and the employees had no idea. After making a post on a local Facebook group the owner created his own post essentially shaming me for asking about the ingredients in his cakes. When asked what the ingredients were, the owner of the store himself tried to dodge the question and was completely unaware of what the ingredients were. You can see our exchange in the screen shot I attached. Finally, the girl in the back of the shop preparing the cakes was not wearing a mask as required by law due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. I believe the owners of this location should try to do better and focus more on their business and be more transparent with their ingredients list with customers. Going on Facebook and trying to shame a customer for asking about ingredients to their cakes is not how a store owner should behave. read more

I do no not like an under baked heavy cake with frosting so sweet it makes your teeth hurt and it was put on with a trolling troth. I give up as a customer I keep wanting to like them but I want more of the Bundt cakes my mother took to her women's club meetings or to her bridge games. They are just squeezed out of a tube looking and the recipe is over died with the white frosting for contrast.
