I ordered one dozen cookies for my best friend's bridal shower. Sophy was very fast to respond to me and she accommodated my order with short notice. I so appreciated that! I told her the designs of the cookies I wanted like color, phrases I wanted, wedding date, etc. Sophy designed the cookies exactly how I asked. All of the guests loved the cookies and said they were delicious! I highly recommend Chasing Pastries and I'll be using Sophy again in the future. Thank you!

Sophy made the most incredible custom cookies, cake, and cake pops for my baby shower. They came out exactly like the inspiration photos I sent her, and they were so moist and delicious. I ordered 4 dozen cookies for my daughter's high school graduation party. Not only were they adorable, they were also delicious. Everyone at the party raved about how soft and tasty they were. I have had beautiful cookies from other bakers that taste like cardboard and get thrown out. Sophy was so talented and easy to work with. She even put an IB stole on the graduation gown cookies that my daughter worked so hard for. Her IB friends were very excited and all grabbed one because they earned them. There wasn't one left at the end of the party. I will definitely be using Sophy in the future. I highly recommend her!! Oh and the price is so reasonable. My sister who lives in Pittsburgh said the price would have been higher there.

How do i begin. I just want to say thank you for making the best cake ever for my baby boy sebastians shower. It was a beautiful safari adventure styled 2 tier cake. Top was chocolate. Bottom was red velvet. Everyone loved it. It was so moist and creamy. I liked the chocolate more but both were honestly amazing. I will be more than happy to reffer you guys to anyone i know looking for cakes. And of course calling you for any cakes i need in the future.

For the past few years, I've been able to watch this business grow from the ground up. I met the owners, Rob and Sophy, prior to Chasing Pastries fruition and seeing how deep their passion is for food. It really exudes in the time, creativity and devotion they put into all that they create in the kitchen. From the most delicious desserts, colorful and elegant cakes, and other special pastries and breads that come out of the oven --- they hands down, by far nailed the perfection of sweetness, fluff, and a good moist that taps your pallet at every bite. I recently had the pleasure in tasting samples of their scones. As I have never really been a scone person, due to some I've had in the past being too dense and dry, it never really peaked my craving to try again. However, Chasing Pastries' scones revived my appreciation once again. Again... air, fluffy, not so sweet with a bit of moist is what I like, and that's exactly what their scones come through with. Their coconut-pineapple scone has the right flow, and to top it all off has sprinkles and glaze of sugar to compliment the last of your bite with a sweet treat. Other flavors on my fave list: Green Tea and Apple. I look forward to Chasing Pastries grow further in business and their passion to create the most decadent treats! Definitely check these guys out at their scheduled farmers markets or hit them up for other special requests!

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I was in charge of my best friends bachelorette Cake and couldn't find a baker to design the custom cake I wanted. The theme was Golden Girls and the cake design was Sophia's infamous purse. Completely understandable why this design kept getting shot down. There was just too much detail to it. Luckily I came across Chasing Pastries! Sophia helped me from beginning to end. The day of the party- needless to say, the cake was the HIGHLIGHT and I was the hero! I have no idea how this cake was executed.... all I can say is that it surpassed anything I could've imagined!!!!! The best part was that it actually tasted amazing! It was red velvet with vanilla butter cream filling. (My mouth is still watering. ) Thank you so much, Sophie, for all your hard work and making my best friends night so memorable. you have a customer for life!

Ordered from Chasing Pastries again for 2 dozen macarons for a friend's sons 3rd birthday party. I picked strawberry and salted caramel flavors and asked Sophy to do whatever colors she felt fit. They came out so beautifully: blue strawberry and sprinkled salted caramel colors. They also tasted amazing with perfect macaron texture!! They are perfectly crisp on outside, but yet chewy moist on the inside. Flavors really come through and not overly sweet. Communication is always great with Sophy and her delivery service is on point!! There was even a mishap where she waited at our door for awhile and she was so understanding!! Sophy was absolutely amazing and she really came thru with absolutely gorgeous and delicious cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday party. She was responsive and communicated really well with me throughout the entire ordering process, making sure she understood exactly what I wanted. I sent her pics of the frosting colors and she matched them perfectly! The result was so beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned! There was a little hiccup with some of the frosting on the cupcakes getting damaged during transport, but Sophy went back and made more frosting and came back to my house and re-decorated the cupcakes that were damaged! She felt bad that they got damaged so she even gave me a discount, even though they were absolutely perfect after redecorating. You can tell she really cares about her customers and her baking art. She even threw in 2 free jumbo cupcakes for my daughter to sing happy birthday and some additional mini cupcakes. These beautiful cupcakes were the perfect decoration for my bubble themed party! I would definitely recommend Chasing Pastry to anyone who asks! read more

I love chasing pastries.. I have used them many many times because they use the freshest ingredients which are top-of-the-line. Their pastries and cakes taste like heaven and it reminds you of an expensive celebrity top-of-the-line event. Their scones of the best I've ever tasted. You can show them a photo and they can make a cake out of any photo you present. They are very professional very kind and honest people I've never tasted a pastry or cakes that taste so fresh and expensive and yet be affordable to my wallet my favorite is the jalapeno cheese bread to die for read more

They did such an amazing job on the cake my sister order from them for my birthday, they did it on such short notice too. They said it was ideal to have a week or two notice to order but they made it happen in just two days and I absolutely loved it it was soo beautiful and delicious I might add we definitely recommend them!! So delicious! Bought a white chocolate chip/blackberry (blackberry!) cookie the size of a pancake from them at the farmers market in Woodland Hills. Very unique. Each bite was a perfect combination of berries, light buttery cookie and melt in your mouth white chocolate--- soo good! I should have taken a picture, but my cookie just didn't last that long. Went back for more, but they were already sold out! They are THAT good. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty treat to satisfy their sweet tooth. read more

The matcha at Re Coffee tends to have a rich, earthy taste as opposed to a sweeter, artificial flavor, which really demonstrates the quality of the ingredients they use. You could also choose to add on syrups to sweeten your beverage, so if you aren't a huge fan of earthy matcha, you can customize your drink. They also provide milk alternatives (oat milk, almond milk, etc.) for those who prefer non-dairy drinks, however, this will cost $1 extra. The space itself is on the smaller side and has a very industrial, contemporary design. You can definitely sit down to do some work or have a chat with friends, but most people tend to order and pick up their drinks. If you are within a 30 minute drive of Woodland Hills, stop whatever you are doing and call Chasing Pastries RIGHT NOW to order some of their MAGNIFICENT scones! The only thing that will save me from becoming a 400 pound tub is that we are only visiting the area for a few days. Happened upon this website and ordered a 1/2 dozen scones for my husband (pineapple coconut and candied lemon). Sophy just delivered them (some still warm!) and they are to die for.
