Came here with coworkers for Bingo Loco to celebrate a birthday. We had so much fun!! We did have to wait in line to enter which was a bit annoying, but we pretty much got right in and were able to find seating for a large group with ease. We were disappointed to learn there was no food available as you must bring your own. Guess we should've read the fine print. The drinks were flowing, I got a lemon drop that I didn't love. I was at NATO for the Bingo Loco show. We waited outside before they opened, in line. Once they opened our tickets were scanned, and we had a quick security check. There were a few security inside and outside. Once inside there was at least 1-2 police officers. The tables were small for adults and at time uncomfortable. But, we made it work. It was really crowded. For Bingo Loco this is not the perfect choice for a venue, or any type of event that involves audiance to be on stage at any point. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. So if you need to come on stage, it will take you a while to get there. The bar staff were amazing. They did not charge for non alcholoic drinks which is appreciated. They were also very busy, but kept things moving all while whipping out the drinks and talking to customers and keeping their cool. The bathrooms were down a long hallway. The bathroom attendants were helpful. They were taking you down to the bathrooms,, opening the door and checking to make sure iit was empty, and clean before letting you in. At one point they were cleaning because someone threw up. So I appreciated them cleaning up as the night was going on. The show itself deserves its own review. But, it was good, and this was my second time at a Bingo Loco. The venue was pretty clean. Came here for a R&B party, left with a headache, stained clothes and a burnt arm. They don't have any non alcoholic beers, so the bartender suggested pineapple and club soda. Whatever the mixer "pineapple juice" he gave me was it definitely wasn't real pineapple juice. It tasted like sugar and syrup...the fog machine is on the second level and dripped heated oil on my arm and my wife's brand new shirt. It was hot as hell and burned me and another girl. The DJ was garbage, but it was a private event so I can't blame NOTO for that. I was gonna go for the upcoming LocoBingo, but this experience has changed my mind. read more

I had to ask several tables if I could sit with them until I was finally able to find a corner. The only reason I'm even giving it a star is because the event itself was entertaining. While sitting in said corner, I was in the way of the booths on the second floor so people kept bumping into me accidentally. However, one of the employees purposely touched me twice when passing by. I waited through a dj playing rap/pop hits with an incredible amount of sound effects until 1am before I decided it was too long to wait. Someone tried to pickpocket my phone in the crowd, and I watched security wrestle someone and drag them outside for an unknown reason. A corona is $12. I went to NOTO Philadelphia with a group of friends for an anime rave, and while we had a good time dancing and enjoying the atmosphere, there were a few things that stood out. The most noticeable was the VIP section--it was practically empty all night. Before the event, we asked about getting a table just so we'd have a place to sit once we got tired from dancing. We weren't planning to drink heavily, just wanted a spot to rest. We were told it would be $400, which felt incredibly steep. Clearly, most of the crowd wasn't willing (or able) to pay that kind of money either, based on how vacant VIP was. I really think the club needs to reconsider their pricing, especially for themed events that draw a younger or more casual crowd. That said, entry was smooth--we showed our tickets and got right in with no hassle. There wasn't a long line, and things seemed to be run efficiently at the door. Horrible experience. Is this what i turned 21 for? I came as a participant, as i am 21 years old LEGALLY. A TRUE 21 YEAR OLD. I can show you any certificate that will say so. The bouncer accused me of my DMV REGISTERED NEW YORK LICENSE IS FAKE. huh!!!!??? And we got into a whole fight about it. It was belittling and obviously goes to show that they need to hire better staff on how to detect real and fake IDs, because i'm sure they let more fake IDs through than the actual real ones. Horrible bartender! We attended the bingo eveno on 1/17/26 that started at 6, there was a women working the upstairs bar that was very rude. I was having a conversation with someone at the bar while we were waiting for our drinks to be made, she put our charges together. I asked why would she put all the drinks on one tab, her response was "yall were talking so I assumed yall were together" I politely told her that she can't assume that, she then said that I need to go downstairs to get my drinks going forward. I usually do not do this, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a venue. The 2.5/10 rating is very well deserved. 1) after paying for a ticket to the event ahead of time to see the show, my friends and I arrived to see that there was ONE line for entry including people who had bought tickets ahead of time and people who were buying them at the door. People in the middle of the line said they had been waiting 45 minutes indicating it would take an hour and a half from the back of the line, therefore missing the show. 2) approaching security they offered to let us in if we paid them a separate fee ($35 each) to a CashApp account that was not the bouncers. They then charged a group with the same amount of people as my group much less ($12 each) for this, without rationale of why. 3) once we got in it appeared there was one line to the bathroom for guys and girls. After seeing a group of 5 girls go into the LARGE bathrooms at once me and my friend tried to do the same but were denied. When asking why a group of 5 girls could go but not 2 guys the bouncer said "because guys can have gay sex in there." While this felt homophobic, the bouncer explained "he has a gay cousin" so it seems it was an okay policy for the establishment to have. 5) when we went to get a drink we asked for a double to which the bartender said "that's about $40" but that if we gave him $30 he could figure out something special for us, which was an odd experience to have--bartering for drinks... 6) the overall crowd and vibe of the venue was not one I would recommend to anyone, no matter who is playing. If it's someone you really want to see wait till they play somewhere else because this club is not the vibe. read more

I had a large corner table here for my buddy's birthday back in 2018. This was when Noto, which opened in 2017, was relatively new and it was definitely the place to go in Philly. My mom, Uncle, Aunt and I went to see Dj Pauly D and a girl on the balcony next to us started to harass my mom next to her and pushing her to move down when she had been next to her for a while prior with no issues. The girl proceeded to move our drinks down and when another witness we didn't even know saw and told her to stop putting her hands on my mom she started to get angrier and threw a drink and drenched my mom plus the witness and I all wet. My mom's hair and clothes were soiled. My uncle got the security immediately after this happened and when we had 7 people telling him this one individual girl got aggressive and shoved and poured drinks on us while clearly drenched head to toe he said if we don't leave he'd kick us out. NOTO will let a girl who assaulted 3 people stay. My family and I all left due to feeling unsafe while my mom literally had literally been assaulted and harassed by a clearly impaired and extremely aggressive young woman who was dry without a spot on her. I would never recommend this place and feel Disgusted by the behaviour and way security dismisses people that have been assaulted and hurt. Do not come here and keep your self safe. read more

I really did not enjoy this venue compared to others I've been in Philadelphia. We spent a decent chunk of money to then not be able to find a spot since they definitely oversell. We were kind of crammed by the back towards the bar and couldn't even see most of the performance. The nightclub aspect of it made it so that bottle service tables take up 70% of the space and the rest of us in general admission get to squeeze into a strip 20 feet or so wide. The security for the bottle service also gives you rude looks if you so much as get pushed out into the bottle service area by an inch and while I get that it's their job and they're dealing with all these drunks it's not a pleasant time. If the artist I'd been there for had played at another venue in Philly I definitely wouldn't have bothered coming here. read more

Went to see Meek Mill perform. He didn't show up until 1am. The club closes at 2am. Everyone was there at 10/11pm. I am confused on why we didn't get a notification or an announcement saying that meek was going to be late. I get he's a celebrity but not even the workers know when he will arrive. The place was nice though. NOTO is pretty festive when it comes to holidays and they do a great job advertising it. NOTO is just plain trashy. The bouncers don't know what a real ID looks like. The bartenders will tell you to "get out of their face" when asking for the lost and found after they've taken away your friend's real ID. Not to mention promoters like Neal (Neil?) will tell you you're on a guest list yet still charge you full price while trying to sell you an overpriced table (there's a reason no one wants to pay for them!). Save your money, time, and headache and go to a real Philadelphia club or bar or literally anywhere but NOTO. To start the food was pretty decent and there were alota options, however the waffles was extra sweet and the grits was SWEET.. never ordered sweet grits from a restaurant or venue before.. There were only 2 bartenders and the line was ridiculously long.. The white female bartender on the first floor had a horrible attitude. We paid $30 extra for unlimited mimosas and 6 of us wanted refills.. she said she can't do 6 refills because she only has 1 bottle of champagne left.. uhhh ok?? Why is that our problem?? We paid for unlimited mimosas so the venue should've been more prepared ! I heard her tell someone "yea it's unlimited refills but NOT unlimited service"... Terrible place, everyone was really money hungry here. Ask for a refund and didn't even get the full amount. Got only 90% back cause there was a 10% bs charge. When the table booking was for a DJ who posted on social media saying he couldn't make the flight to here. So there was no point of me keep the table. Tried to cancel within the time frame but the agent who I booked with took forever to replay used that to his advantage and was able to use it as an excuse to not issue the full refund of $1,000. I've been to NOTO one too many times, overall it's a decent experience. I think the experience at the avenue hinges of the artist and the crowd, I've had some fantastic nights, as well as some dead ones. Went here to celebrate a birthday and let me tell you, while the place was packed and seemed like good vibes...there was A LOT of shadiness going on in here. Let's start with the bouncer "Charles" (so he said his name was) randomly coming to ask if we had wristbands after us being in a "VIP" section for a good hour. After asking him was there a reason he came to us and not check others, because you're clearly not doing your job. His response was "Yeah, I'm just doing my job" . Not to mention him himself making a sale in the venue. I told him to take note of not only wristbands but the selling of drugs in the place and he goes "yeah everyone is smoking weed" (which wasn't marijuana I was mentioning...if you know what I mean) Needless to say, this place needs to tighten up on their security, especially "Charles" because who knows what else is being allowed in the venue. Went here for the first time last night 10.31.21 for Alan Walker. We got here early and were in front of general admission. The bouncer asked my best friend if she wanted to pay $40/each cash to get us into VIP, so we could actually have room to dance. She did and we moved across the rope. Was great for about 15min until the party that had the table we were standing next to showed up and the bouncers very aggressively moved us to the right side of the stage and behind a Yellow line and told us we had to stand up against the wall there. This was worse then our original spot and people kept pushing and shoving us while we just wanted to enjoy the night and dance. Then two of the bouncers got into a fight when one of them tried to move a group through into the middle where we had been standing originally. On top of all of this the floor was soaked in alcohol, it was like standing in a puddle and we were right up against a trash can, so people were pushing us around to throw their bottles away. Alan Walker was amazing but I would never go here again. We will go back to warehouse on watts if we want a night of enjoyment and dancing, Noto if you want to waste money on a crowded, aggressive, overpriced and uncomfortable experience. read more

This disappointing review is for New Year's Eve 2020. My friends and I were really ecstatic to go to Noto knowing that it is an upscale night club that hosts great DJs. Needless to say we paid a good amount for tickets and expected a good time. Before midnight the DJ was playing songs of all genre but was switching songs really quickly which is always annoying. Then the countdown began 60s til midnight and it was going way too fast - the screen was at a 0 and was saying Happy NY before the confetti was released and before the DJ started playing. The build up was ok but then the first song was by Meek Mill - wth?? Who starts a NY with a song by Meek Mill?? So then after midnight all songs were rap/hip hop and he played them start to finish. We left around 12:30 and all were disappointed. read more

How to catch Covid 101: go here. Overcapacity, extremely hot sweaty mess, doesn't check vaccine cards, and no one wears a mask despite the signs; it's not fun and it's hardly legal. If we didn't have tickets from a friend we wouldn't have even gone. The music was literally just bass all night long and it took 3 hours for the headliner to show up. It was so overcrowded there was no dancing even possible except at the very back. Additionally, the crowd was rowdy and multiple times we almost got trampled because of fights or drunk people falling and pushing, and there was also a surplus of creepy men in the crowd so much so that it felt unsafe. Unless you're drunk, high, and grinding with a partner, as much of the crowd was, you can't have fun at a place like this... you'd think with it being so high profile, it wouldn't have such trashy problems. read more

NOTO is trash. Actually the front staff and security is good, they do their job and keep it moving, and the venue itself is decent. It's the dance floor bouncers who suck. Imagine being on the dance floor, there are stans (stanchions) on all sides to separate the peasants and the VIPs/tables. This is fine, you get what you pay for. You're within reason of the ropes, not hanging over it or anything. And next thing you know, the bouncers freakin' MOVE THEM INWARDS. INTO THE EFFIN' CROWD! To give VIPs more room? NOT EVEN. Those tables were empty when it happened. Because the inside crowd got smaller? NOPE, it was MORE crowded and because the bouncers moved the ropes inward, they also started shoving people inward, which led to the crowd shoving and pushing each other to fit into the tiny ass space we've now been given. To top it off, one of them yelled at my friend for being over the rope, when it was because of their rope moving/shoving that led to less room and others pushing, that made him accidentally lean over a bit. It wasn't only to him, I literally watched them yell at multiple people for being over the rope EVERY SINGLE TIME they moved anything. Excuse me, are we psychic? Let me move into this other person's space for you so you can give these invisible table people room. Mind you, when people did arrive at the tables, the bouncers continued to move the ropes inch by inch like every 20 minutes or something. There was even a fight that broke out in the middle of the dance floor between a bouncer and an attendee. I suggest NOTO draw permanent circles on the floor so their bouncers can figure out the stans placement instead of moving them around all the time. It's not us, it's YOU. I've been here twice and this sh*t happened twice. That's one time too many to be an off day and the aggressiveness is uncalled for. My friends and I ended up taking solace up on the 2nd floor to watch the rest of the DJ set, where it was less crowded and had none of the anger. Some pretty big names perform here, but I would honestly just wait til they come to NY so I can avoid this place. It definitely makes me appreciate NY venues much more. read more

Probably the worst experience I've ever had. I went to the Audien concert with my boyfriend and his roommates to celebrate a birthday and was super excited for the show. Upon arriving to the venue, I realized that the GA section is quite small (or rather the venue in general). When the show started, one of the bouncers began aggressively pushing the crowd of people away from the VIP entrance, which by the way we weren't entering nor blocking. Because of the shoving many people were angry and 2 men tried to pick a fight with me. 2 bouncers nearby just stood and watched as people got shoved around and nearly caused a fight. The DJ before Audien was decent, but like in other reviews I've read, he switched songs way too fast and took great music and terribly remixed it. The night was okay before the bouncer incident but after that we decided to leave. On another note, one of the bartender's was being super sketchy and stealing from till. He kept turning around to see if anyone was watching and of course, we were. Not to mention that we got the same drinks at 2 different bars and they were different prices (the sketchy bartender obviously up-charging). If upgrading to VIP wasn't a whopping $600, then MAYBE I'd come back. Don't think I'll ever be returning and I don't recommend coming here. read more

WORST CLUB in Philly. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I really had high hopes for this place considering Philly doesn't have any decent clubs but I experienced the worst customer service this past weekend. Paid $40 for a concert for Migos ticket, bought bottle service, waited allllllll night for the artist to perform. It was so hot, it was like their AC was turned off. It was like being in a sauna I paid $500 to be in. The DJ repeatedly kept saying "10 minutes until they come out" every 30 minutes. I left at 1:50am... with only 10 minutes left until the club closed and the concert never happened. It was literally A SCAM. They probably knew the artist was never coming but didn't tell the crowd because they still wanted to make money off of alcohol everyone was buying while waiting around. THEY NEVER ISSUED AN APOLOGY, which to me, is the worst thing about this situation. If you care about your business and your customers, you issue an apology stating what happened; I understand to give everyone their money back is probably not going to happen but taking 10 minutes to post an apology on your business' social media is worth it for the long run. NOTO you lost a steady customer who was steadily purchasing bottle service. I'll be sure to never recommend you to a friend. read more
