I have never been to Time for Happy Hour. This was my go to spot for drinking at night back in the day. This place wasn't as crowded when we came at 5p on a Sunday but suddenly it picked up. I like how the bar was a long rectangle size. There was plenty of space for everyone to sit comfortably at the bar. The happy hour menu is very decently priced. I got the John Daly which was vodka, lemon, and black tea syrup. I felt like it was too sugary but it was a decent size. I had a champagne as well which was pretty nice. The champagne here is interesting because they put a sugar cube in there. Food wise we shared the pulled pork sliders, whipped feta, and half pound mussels. For 5 dollars, the pulled pork sliders is a must get. I really liked the bread and the pickles. The half pound mussels was really small. We were shocked it was a half a pound. It was pretty good and had some spice to it. I really liked how this dish had hot Italian sausage. We also had the whipped feta. I liked the pecans that were on top of that dish.

We stopped in here before getting dinner nearby. The cocktails were delicious. I got the Bring the Noise. We also tried the Into the Mystic which was more unique and cool if you're into whiskey. We noticed the menu says if live music is playing $5 per person is added to your bill but the music was fantastic.

I have been here several times in the past decade, and don't remember a time when I didn't enjoy it. The drinks are ok but the live music is excellent and the sweet potato fries are good enough to make up for the lack of creative drinks.

Very cool jazz club downtown, it's really a wine bar with live jazz but it was nice. Reservation highly recommended since it's popular. Good for dates or ladies night. Loved the green beans, best green beans I've ever had. The banana espresso martini was okay.

Very cool vibe. Great music -- live. Organized service. While not hugely staffed, waits for drinks were not long. And the place was semi-full. Well managed. Did not try the food but people were ordering well after midnight. An abundance of things to choose from. The closing check did not give me sticker shock. Most drinks are in the $8-10 range. Tried to go back the next night but standing room only. Place was packed. Will return. Check it out. -- workingman's gourmand.

I stumbled across this place during my visit to Philly, and I was so happy I did! I came with a colleague and we stumbled across Time and a live Jazz fusion band that was really jam'n. Amazing spot to catch some live local music, drinks were good and while it's a small space, we were able to find a space to enjoy.

We came to get some food and drinks on a Monday night. The deviled eggs have lots of flavor. The order had two eggs cut in half. We also got the Mac and cheese which was very cheesy and delicious. Our drinks were standard. The bar wasn't very clean and the bar tender was cleaning anything off. Someone spilled a drink on the chair next to me, and it remained there until another patron came in and had to ask for some napkins to clean it. We went Nextdoor to the music room and enjoyed the band. They had 8 or so people in the band! The crowd was loving it and I didn't want to leave. I'll be back again for some dancing and music.

My favourite dinner in Philly! Philadelphia was not a pleasant trip in many respects. I visited for my birthday and the traffic and lack of parking kept me from visiting more than a few restaurants I wanted to. Before my Grim Philly tour and right after a torrential downpour, I was lucky enough to secure a parking spot allowing me to dine at Time. I love this place. It was one of my most favourite restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. The decor was classic and dark, just the way I love it. Dark wood and large timepieces on the walls coupled with vibrant art. A beautiful space. Happy hour was on when I arrived on a Sunday afternoon. I was able to order a delicious vodka cocktail named the Sweetums for $5 each. The drink was stiff and well worth the price. A little sweet and tasty. My server was named on my receipt as dining R. She was exceptional. She made me feel welcome and brought everything to the table (with I believe the chef) in great time. This venue does also offer live music, and since hubby plays in a band, I am a huge supporter of this. I didn't get to see live music this night, but love what they are doing with this. I ordered Seared Scallops......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Carrot purée, crispy pancetta, grilled pineapple, pickled fresno chili, scallion, roasted garlic aioli, watercress (from the menu) Let me just tell you that this was one of the most amazing plates I've EVER ordered at a restaurant. The peppers brought the perfect amount of spice...not overwhelming. And you had the scallops and pineapple to cool it down. There were so many flavour profiles going on in this dish. It was nothing short of astounding. I didn't enjoy Philadelphia in general, but if I ever returned, I would do so to order this dish. I also ordered the Chocolate Pot de Creme for dessert...it was my birthday trip after all. So decadent and delicious. Hats off to the chef because they are excellent...a true tour de force. If you visit Philadelphia, you MUST visit Time. One of my top ten meals of all time.

Question about the vaccination proof, is it required to have a physical copy of vaccination card or will a photo suffice?

Do we need to make a reservation first? We tried all dates and times but still error message.

In early May I was told they don't take reservations. But, you would be safe arriving about 7:00, which is consistent with my experience. However, these are dynamic times. Both increased demand and more space. Worth figuring out, a great place to… Read more

Yes they are open and it's a fantastic spot. If you went 4/4 they were closed for annual employee party but otherwise always open...check it out!

My family and I got breakfast at Enswell during our stay in Philadelphia. This swanky, hip place…read moreoffers up elevated tasty food and superb service in an exquisitely decorated, albeit small, cafe. We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

I thought this place was very cute. Outdoor limited seating…read moreand indoor area as well. The appeal was to get a quick read in amd have my pup with me. I felt like I ordered the wrong combination. I was able to do an egg sandwich and swap for sourdough bread vs eng muffin. Love that. Didn't love the copper sharp cheese that was a bit messy and tangy. I kept thinking they must have added some type of sauce on it. I'd much rather come back for a simple fried egg combo and chedda cheese. I was also offered sparkling water, but I do wish it had more fizz. The service start to finish was superb in friendly and fast service. I'd come back for mimosa/bar for sure.
