Noura Cafe is located in a shopping plaza and i stopped in tonight and was overall pleased with the gyro and French fries. The service here was friendly and my food was made pretty quickly. The ambiance is laid back and pleasant, but I got my meal to go and enjoyed my gyro and French fries in a nearby park. I would recommend here.

I wish I took food pics but my family ripped open the bag so fast I never had a chance. Clean!! Dining room, register, bathrooms -all so clean and nice. Owner is on site. Helpful, friendly, grateful All kinds of goodies the grocery section and food was not expired. The food was not just good; it was tasty and delicious. We had one beef schwarma platter with rice and veggies and one chicken along with a side of hummus and a kibbee appetizer!! We loved it all!! We ate it all. Will definitely be back.. soon!

    I love spinach pie!

I walked in and looked over the grocery items. I chose to buy some large pita bread for home. Then, to order: I wanted a beef shawarma and a salad for dinner tonight. I also ordered a spinach pie to take home. I also had half and half tea, a piece of baklava for after dinner. The food, tea and baklava were very fresh and good. I had half of my dinner boxed up because I was so full. I was able to relax and unwind after work. I look forward to my next visit. Pros:very good food! Plenty of parking. Cons:it was a wee bit pricier than I like, but I work hard and deserved a good hot meal. Recommend? yes! If you want to live a long life, this is the food for you! Mediterranean food.

Beef tenderloin Kabob Platter. So tender and delicious!

We love this Gem and come every time we visit JAX. Amazing fresh food with great flavor. I tried the Beef tenderloin Kabob Platter for the first time today (I usually get the chicken shawarma ) and it was amazing!! So ridiculously tender you don't even need a knife to cut it! And it was absolutely delicious! The vegetables and cucumber-tomato salad were also delicious. It's also family run by charming people. Definitely don't miss out on this if you're in the area.

My aunt and uncle and I went here for dinner tonight as they're always talking about how great the food is. Upon walking in the aroma of the spices is phenomenal! Truly makes your mouth water. They have a mini grocery store if you will where you can buy grape leaves and other ethnic type items. I did not look at the prices however it's something I will look at when I go back. The food was very good. I have to say the chicken was very flavorful and my uncle loved the red snapper he had. The rice has the perfect amount of turmeric in it to add flavor. The portions were a little bit on the small side. Overall, the atmosphere and ambience is very warm inviting and welcoming. This is somewhere I would go back. I do want to try their falafel.

I tried the beef Schwarma sandwich and was not disappointed! The sandwich was stuffed full of meat and veggies. My friend ordered the stuffed grape leaves and let me try one. This was my first time trying a stuffed grape leaf. I honestly didn't think I'd like it but turns out it was delicious! The service was fast and everyone was very friendly!

1/5/23. Hadn't been here in a while but food is still good, fresh and tasty. It is Mediterranean with an emphasis on Lebanese in the Lakewood area off San Jose Blvd. You can tell it is a family operated business which we like to support local!

I came in as a solo diner and was seated quickly, although my table was kind of nestled underneath the high outdoor bar. That meant hearing some of the bartender's phone conversations. I ordered a glass of Lebanese rose wine and liked it! But my meal wasn't impressive. The vegetarian grape leaves (one of my favorite dishes, generally) were OK, although several were split up on my plate (but hey, it happens). I thought the flavor was underwhelming; there was a lot of acidity but nothing else. I also ordered a side of "extra crispy seasoned potato fries" which just turned out to be generic crinkle fries with salt. Definitely wouldn't order those again. I thought maybe there would be some sort of twist on them? The big frustration was service. The restaurant was far from full when I went -- I counted maybe a dozen seated tables. After I finished eating, I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my waiter's attention to get my check even as I sat with my plates pushed away, glasses empty, and credit card out. He walked by multiple times to wait on and check with other tables, and I saw at least five other employees working in the front of house and walking by me. Even when I got his attention for the check, it took quite a few minutes to get it, despite him walking out to other tables. (Although I will note he seemed busier than the other employees!) My check before tip came to $24, which felt on the pricey side for what I got. I hope I'm wrong, but I got the vibe that I wasn't exactly their favorite type of guest -- a solo diner who wasn't smoking hookah. (I noticed another solo non-smoker go similarly unnoticed by staff.) Maybe they heavily favor regulars, too. But they weren't at capacity, and I'd have gotten out quicker had I been able to pay. Maybe it was just an off night. But it's just not a great feeling to be ignored.

The food was tasty, but we were disappointed with the limited meat and fish options. Roasted chicken was the only choice available. I like protein so I ended up just loading up on chicken. I absolutely love pizza and have seen an advertisement online on social media for this restaurant…read more I am so happy that we tried it! My friend and I decided to go one weekend and we were not disappointed! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and checked up on us often. We were blown away by all the menu options as they had alot to choose from but we decided on the following: Cheese and Zaatar Manousheh- 10/10 : It's a pizza that is topped with mozzarella cheese and zaatar with olive oil, baked in a wood fired oven. Let me tell you, this was one of the best pizzas that I've ever had in my life. It was cheesy, flavorful, and the crust was crispy and flaky. I'm still dreaming about this pizza till this day. The flavors were all delightful and this pizza was hearty and flavorful. My friend's son doesn't like pizza and we were not surprised when he ate almost a full slice of this, because it's so dang on delicious. I loved that it came with a side of pickles because the acidity helps cut down the richness of the pizza. Lamb philly with pita on the side - 10/10: My friend has dietary restrictions and the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate us. We had the lamb philly with the buns (in this case we chose pita bread) on the side. The onions were on the side with the condiments (mayo and ketchup) while the meat had a mixture of bell peppers and onion in it as well, The meat was tender, flavorful, and I don't know what spices they put in it, but it was beyond delicious. I created a pita sandwich and each bite was juicy and decadent. I would absolutely get this sandwich again. Seasoned french fries - 9/10: hot, crispy, fried to perfection with a sprinkle of seasoning salt. The seasoning salt was a little salty but addicting at the same time. I am a french fry snob and these are probably in my top three when it comes to the french fries I've tried so far in Jax. Overall, we will definitely come back again! Staff was wonderful, food was served quickly and super fresh, and we felt extremely welcomed. I appreciate the staff being so accommodating and constantly checking up on us and making sure we enjoyed our food.

The cashier said they are the only Persian kabob place in town, and that style of kabob is my favorite. The rice was cooked nicely. The grilled tomato was a little too scorched on the outside, but I still enjoyed it. The platter came with a slice of lime, and a dab of butter which complimented the protein nicely. I wish my meal came with a grilled onion, and some pita bread like I'm normally used to seeing at other restaurants. I'm very happy that Jax has at least one good kabob place. If you love rice, or barbecue then I would recommend you check this place out. Credit cards: yes Customer service: the cashier greeted me kindly when I walked through the front door with a smile. I thought he did a good job. He was a young fellow with wavy hair. Parking: easy to find free parking in front of the restaurant when I went there on a Sunday afternoon. Cleanliness: it was clean. I didn't see the bathroom. Food violations: they do have some food violations that you can see on yelp. Hopefully they have that sorted out. The business owners need to stay on top of that.

One of the highlights of the evening was the chef/owner personally visiting our table. He was incredibly warm, hospitable, and genuinely passionate about his restaurant and guests. Five stars all the way! Highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and outstanding hospitality in Jacksonville.

She made sure to check up on us, answered all of our questions, and refilled our drinks often. It was super clean there too! We were started off with some fresh, warm bread and a balsamic/olive oil dipping sauce. The bread was perfectly crispy and went so well with the dipping sauce. We were served cold bread before at restaurant so I'm glad we had warm bread! We decided on the following appetizer and entrees: Fried meat ravioli - 8/10: it came out piping hot and it was so delicious! Fried to a nice, golden brown and covered in panko crumbs, it didn't feel heavy at all. It came with a fresh marinara sauce and had parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the fried ravioli. Each bite was cheesy, crispy, tasty, meaty, and we devoured it quickly! Carbonara Alla Roma - 8.5/10: I thought the portion would be small since I seen photos online but it was actually a great portion. I had enough to take home and eat as leftovers! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the alfredo sauce was balanced and decadent. I could taste the pecorino romano, and cracked black pepper. The pancetta was smoky and added a nice umami flavor to the pasta. I didn't rate it higher because it was slightly missing a little bit of of that BAM factor! but it was pretty delicious! The Sofi - chicken - 9/10: Oh my gosh! My best friend got this and I wished I would have too! It was sooooooooooooooooooo good! It had prosciutto di parma, mushrooms, asparagus, shallots, cooked in wine and tossed in a rose cream sauce. The pasta was also cooked perfectly and that sauce was to die for! Each bite was like tasting the finest flavors and spices of Italy. I could not believe how tasty this was! If you come here, you HAVE to try this dish! Tiramisu - 9.5/10: One of the best tiramisus we've had in Jacksonville. It was the perfect amount of espresso and cream. They had dollops of chocolate sauce on the side and helped elevated the flavor of the tiramisu. It also wasn't super sweet which we appreciate. We don't really like overly sweet desserts and this one hits the mark on everything. Overall, service, food, and atmosphere was great! We would definitely come back to try other menu items!
