I was gifted a pedicure, and it was amazing! My friend and I both came and because it's a one-person business, we just took turns; whoever wasn't getting the pedicure sat on the couch and we could chat. Liz (I assume, based on the other reviews. I didn't actually catch her name, oops) was *amazing*. She provided magazines and small snacks and drinks to enjoy while we had our pedicures. I've been to many pedicure spots and hers was the gentlest I've ever had. No tickling feelings, so soft with the clipping and cleaning that I barely felt it. Even the callous removal was gentle! I was so impressed with how the nails looked before even adding polish-- they looked like they could've been coated with a clear shiny nail polish already! The nail polish she uses is also impressively fast dry, which means no needing to wait around for 15-30 minutes. Next time, I'd personally skip the polish because the nails look SO pretty even without it (and I don't usually like nail polish myself). read more

Elizabeth gave me one of the best pedicures I've ever had. Her space is cozy and inviting, as if you are in a friend's living room. She respectfully gave me the option of keeping the conversation to a minimum so that I could relax. Instead, we ended up talking the entire time as if we had know each other for decades and were just getting caught up. I am usually extremely ticklish when I get my feet done, but Elizabeth managed to file down my considerable calluses without making me squirm. Nourish is great. It's a dry service for various reasons, so do not expect a traditional water bath method. They provide a fantastic individualized experience. The owner was so sweet! The atmosphere was ridiculously comfortable, and I was impressed that the owner maintained and designed the space and *also* was the nail tech. I left with a wonderful neutral color for my nails and a nice bluish slate color for my nails. For future customers: the price is worth it for the privacy. There's only one recliner, handpicked by the owner for its comfiness, and you feel supported and ready to go to sleep if you so choose. Just a quick review. Had a pedicure with this person on Mother's Day. The atmosphere was nice and she was pleasant. She did a nice job with my feet. The prices is TOO HIGH for the service that I rec'd, though. She is charging $68 for a pedicure that doesn't include any kind of soak or massage. So, it was $80 with tip. She is raising her prices to $70 in June. It was a good pedicure, but not worth the price. I can get a pedicure with foot soak and massage for about $40 at other places. Nourish Nail Parlour is probably the best nail salon I've been to in the greater Seattle area. First of all, booking is super easy. I texted Liz for the date and time I'd like to come in, and she responded in between her clients. The studio is a hidden gem inside the Space Building in downtown Fremont. I walked pass the building many times and thought it was just a regular residential building. Little did I know that there were so many wonderful beauty salons inside! So I came in as scheduled and waited in the common area. Liz called my name and I followed her into her salon. The salon wasn't as big as your normal nail salon since Liz was the only one you'll be working with. The place was very cozy and comfortable. Liz offered me tea and snacks, and then the service started. Liz used mostly brand new filers and nail buffer on me. For a huge germaphob, I can't be happier with that! She's super gentle yet very thorough, and she's very observant. She noticed that I was slightly sweating (It was the hottest day in Seattle) and she offered to turn on the AC. She noticed that I wasn't drinking my tea and offered to pour in more water for me. Overall, she made my pedicure beyond perfection, and I couldn't be happier with my experience in her salon. I am not one to get my nails done, and when I do, I usually opt for the quick, cheap walk in types of places. I chose to go to Liz with my best friend right before her wedding for manis/pedis because, with the stress of the wedding, I thought it would be nice to schedule an appointment somewhere nice. Going to Liz was quite the treat! First, know that you need an appointment, but can get them on the same day. You can call or text to leave your preference for an appointment time; when I did this Liz was very prompt in replying via text. As far as the nails, she is very thorough and does a great job. My mani and pedi both look great. She is very personable, is very gentle on the fingers and toes, and my hands and feet came out looking great! She has a nice selection of nail polish too. Liz has a little office on the second floor of the Space building (across the street from the Lenin statue). The building isn't well labeled, but easy to find based on the address. The office she rents is very cozy, with a nice view, a comfy chair, is kept very clean, and she has an assortment of beverages to enjoy during your service. Overall, a great experience. It's absolutely worth paying a little extra to get some TLC from her! Be sure to take advantage of the check-in deal on yelp as well!! read more

When it's time for the color to come off your nails still look great because she has buffed them to a high shine before she applies the color. I often bring a friend and we sit and gab and drink wine and relax. Liz is someone you really want to talk to, but if you don't she's cool with that too. Today was my first visit to Nourrish, and it was such an amazing experience; it was my birthday treat, and I am so glad I googled and yelped and found Nourrish! I was so excited to go, and guess what, the results are even better than I expected, how often does that happen... Making an appointment is so easy by text message. The location is easy to find using any map app, and I found free street parking right away. Now for the treat: the salon is private, very well maintained and carefully decorated. The recliner is very comfortable, I was in it for 90 minutes and didn't want to leave! The pedicure itself is the best I have had - so meticulous, painless and thorough, and I love the color selection. Oh, and having a lovely glass of wine along with it, what a nice touch. Most importantly, this was my first encounter with Liz and she is such a sweet warm person, who loves her job and does it perfectly, period. I came in with neglected feet and came out with a brand new pair of perfect baby soft feet, and the biggest grin :-) The whole pedi felt like the most relaxing spa experience, I zoned out and all my muscles were relaxed, just like in shavasana. I am going back for a French manicure next week and I am turning into a regular, I am so glad I found Liz... Writing a review for another (underwhelming) salon reminded me of this place. I went about a year ago for a pedicure and it was FANTASTIC. So relaxing - I loved being the only client in the single chair place! The owner was so sweet & lovely. And there was an amazing tea selection plus candy and salty treats (such a decadent touch). Overall one of the best experiences I've had for a pedicure, ever! Sadly I have since left Seattle and never made it back as regular pedis weren't in my budget while living there... An exercise in simple good taste and extravagant comforts: excellent coffee, hand massage, a lush reclining chair, soft music. I've only had manicures in two other places and I did feel well served in both places. This was just better. So much better. I asked for "the works" so I may be comparing apples to oranges, but I don't think the other places could have done the works. Here, I sat in the one chair, closed my eyes, and didn't have to try to distance myself from anything. No chatter, no phones ringing, no small, sharp pains. And the manicure is flawless.
