The fish is fresh and pairs well with the flower wonton chips and crab/seaweed salad. The marinades on the poke are yummy as well. I got full pretty fast and still had a ton left over. I ordered takeout and I wish I was closer but I am now recommending everyone to come by.

I highly recommend this place! It's hard to find good Hawaiian style Poke. This place satisfies my…read morecraving for poke every time, hands down. Good quality fish, and I really like all their side toppings. Imitation crab salad, seaweed salad, sunomono--all solid! Their rice is also cooked perfect, and marinades are consistent every time. Spice level on the spicy mayo salmon is good. My only two gripes: Firstly, I wish they had more options outside of just salmon and tuna (ex: tako, yellowtail). However, I'd rather a place nail every limited option they have, rather than be mediocre with a wider selection. Secondly, I find it odd is their shoyu tuna is a bit spicy even though shoyu isn't traditionally spicy; they sprinkle a red powder on it. On DoorDash, you can't ask them to withhold the spice powder. I'm fine with spice--but be aware if you are not.

I really felt compelled to let y'all in on this gem! Life has been crazy busy and I'm sure all of you can relate! I've graduated to a different part of adulthood and it called for some next level adult shit. MEAL PREPS. Yo, meal preps are a LIFE CHANGER. The owner DeJean has this shit on lock! I'm picky AF when it comes to clean eating and he definitely comes through! All the meals are made really well and to my surprise, the seasoning was done really well! I eat like a bird so portions are important for me. I don't like feeling like I waste food so I love that he accommodates! And not to be that person but trust me, I've shopped around different options-- the quality of food you get and the price you get for it.. SO GOOD. I still can't believe I'm telling y'all about it!

I don't have time to cook often and having so many options is a lifesaver. Anything is better than cooking meal prep chicken the same time a hundred week in a row. This stuff tastes like thanksgiving dinner, and I don't have to feel bad about eating it haha. The quality is high, and you can tell the ingredients are pretty fresh too. Above all else, they're portable. I can take these suckers to work unlike some of meals I've tried

I went here on May 3rd after struggling with symptoms for several months and not finding much…read morerelief elsewhere. The process was definitely different from a regular doctor visit, but honestly, it was a really interesting experience. Since the practitioner doesn't speak English, I translated my symptoms into Chinese using Google Translate and showed him my phone. He checked my tongue and pulse very carefully before writing out a custom herbal tea prescription entirely in Chinese characters. You then take the prescription to the front counter where they prepare the herbs into 5 separate bags. Each bag lasts 2 days, and you boil the herbs for about an hour, strain the tea, and save the rest for the next day. I'm not going to lie -- the tea tastes STRONG. Very earthy, bitter, and honestly like dirt lol. Each boiled tea bag yields 24-32 oz. that needs to be consumed warm, preferably in one sitting after lunch. It was hard to drink, but after finishing my first cycle (10days) I noticed a huge improvement in my symptoms. They explained that most people do 2-3 cycles using the same prescription for full results. I genuinely feel a lot better. I paid $20 for consultation + $85 for the tea. If you use the prescription and 2nd time you only pay for the tea of $85. They take credit cards but there is a $6 transaction fee.

The line was out the door & it took about an hour to be seen by the doctor. It is $20 CASH for the…read moreconsultation & he asks to check your wrist pulse & your tongue. He then writes a prescription on a piece of paper & uses his phone to translate the diagnosis. It took less than 5 minutes. Then you go the herbalist staff at the front counters & they give you the pricing for the treatment & you can decide if you want to do it or not. The treatment was $100 for mines & $90 for my moms. They take about 30 mins to prep the herbs & roots then explain the procedure & the process of how to make the teas. Cool experience! Tbh I did not drink the teas and my mom did, she said she felt like it gave her some energy.

Kudos to Heirloom for doing a great job catering the after-party at the Deadline Reality TV Summit…read moreon very short notice. The primary grazing table was decked out with a wide assortment of non-typical, and very appealing, meats, cheeses, veggies, dips, mixed salads and all manner of crostinis. Everything I ate tasted terrific, and was utterly fresh. The only drawbacks: serving utensils were small and fragile, and the display may have been a tad too artistically crafted for the type of crowd, which attacked the freebies like Survivor's castaways hitting a hotel buffet after 40 days on the island. Things got really chaotic really fast. But how was Heirloom to know the guests wouldn't be quite as polite as expected? Their bar had a nice selection of wines, and their house Diablo Margarita hit a pleasant balance of sweet and hot. The absence of soft drinks aside from sparkling water felt like a misstep, though the organizers may have opted out re price. Passed small bites were equally creative and tasty, from shrimp skewers and falafel to samosas and some others. Also on site was a soft-serve ice-cream cart, dishing out several flavors to order. The staff was friendly and chatty, and kept both food and drinks moving at a clip. While the situation wasn't perfect, I feel like Heirloom did an excellent job overall, and that any misfires could easily have been attributed to circumstance and decisions from the organizers rather than any shortcomings on the part of the caterer. I would absolutely call them to cater an event I was planning.
