Tuna with Spicy Mayo, Cucumber Salad, and Imitation Crab Salad
Talya R.

Loved this poke! It was super fresh and flavorful! I got the tuna with the spicy mayo and the cucumber salad and imitation crab salad. Both salads were super unique and different. The cucumber salad had long thin slices and a good crunch while the imitation crab was thin shreds packed with a delicious mayo- y flavor. My friend and I did not realize it was a ghost kitchen and the outside said Goop Kitchen. I do wish this quality of poke was backed by a restaurant where you can sit inside and enjoy the food and can ask questions etc. There is some 15 min parking out front and a small lot in back. We ordered inside on a screen and it was ready quickly in 10 min! Excited to add it to my list and try other flavors! Loved it!!!

i got this delivered, which sorta scared me, but it arrived cool and fresh! the salmon was perfect texture and the sauce options were delicious!! every bite packed with flavor. the cucumber salad was refreshing and the crab salad was rich and creamy. this was definitely a heavy poke plate but i was extremely satisfied!

Nuc Mam and Honey Wasabi with Seaweed Salad and Cucumber Salad

A pretty solid poke spot! I got their nuc mam and honey wasabi sauce with tuna. I liked their honey wasabi sauce but I felt like it didn't have that true wasabi kick to it. I did like the flavor profile of it though! The nuc nam sauce was a bit more plain and I felt like they needed to add more sauce. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. I would go back to try their other sauces! It's a ghost kitchen type situation so you have to order online. The wait time is kind of weird. It estimated 15 minutes for pick up and I got a text that my food was ready but I ended up having to wait an additional 20 minutes which is kinda lame. Parking is a bit challenging but theres residential streets nearby.

Nuc Poke or NUKE POKE?? THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB. Was near LA area and this place was perfect for delivery. Very convenient and the packaging was great. Came in a bag with both chopsticks and forks and napkins. I heard the chef is an ex-Tao restaurant chef who decided to do a modern elevated twist on poke mixing Hawaiian and Vietnamese flavors. The fish is super high quality and fresh. It is also mixed with the sauce and marinated to order! No more gummy rubbery poke. Super tender, solid, fresh fish texture with the crunch of peanuts crests a great contrast in textures. I tried the volcano sauce which was garlicky, a bit spicy and really flavorful. Paired with the Furikaka rice was an awesome combo. I also tried the honey wasabi salmon. Sweet, spicy, fragrant, and creamy. This creamy texture and crunchy peanuts made for a great mouth sensation haha. The wasabi honey was a really good pairing as well. The dish plating was also great. Super fancy and pretty. My eyes were definitely fed before my belly haha got me salivating. It is a ghost kitchen for now but I heard the chef is looking to expand to a brick and mortar! Can't wait!! Y'all gotta try this bomb poke. I will definitely order again.

This place was really hard to find. I thought it was a restaurant but it's really just a place where you pick up multiple orders like for Doordash. there should be clearer signs that lists where the restaurant is. The food itself was okay too. The tuna and salmon definitely needs more sauce. I got the soy sauce and nuoc mam flavors and felt like i needed more. The rice was the perfect texture though. I wish the portions for the seaweed salad and crab salad were bigger because those were both amazing! overall, i would try other places before trying this one.

One of the best poke spots in Los Angeles by a mile, and it tasted like I was back in Oahu. Food (5/5): I ordered a large bowl: Salmon with Lava Sauce, Tuna with Shoyu Sauce, Imitation Crab Salad, and Sunomono Salad. Both fish were very fresh. The imitation crab salad was one of the best surprises. Usually most poke places have that scoop of imitation crab like a ball of ice cream, but this one hit different with the masago on top. Service (1/5): This is a ghost kitchen. While I don't mind ordering on a tablet at all, this tablet in particular was slow. You can also only add tips in increments of 15%, 18%, and 20% without an option for a custom tip. Also, enter on the parking lot side, because if you order from the street side, you will need to pick it up from the parking lot side anyways. There aren't any clear directions indicating this Ambiance (1/5): Doesn't really matter since it's a ghost kitchen. The food itself makes up for the logistically comical ordering system. Would definitely pick-up poke from here again.

Great price to food quality to volume ratio! This is my go-to poke spot in Los Angeles

This place is soooooo good I ordered from here twice in 3 days LOL. I love that you can add nuoc mam as a sauce, and it tastes reaaaally good with tuna. I also got wasabi honey salmon, seaweed salad, crab salad, and I tried the cu cai salad. I like that they add wonton chips too. Definitely my new fav poke place in LA!

Thought this would be closer to Hawaiian poke where the fish is marinaded in sauces for hours. That could be true but the end result is nowhere close to the same. Was also excited at the prospect that this has Vietnamese influences. I love Viet food. This place tries but execution is poor. Bottom line, fish was not fresh nor at a quality that matches other poke places. The flavors were one dimensional and lacking despite bombastic descriptions on their menu. Crab salad side was the best thing of my meal. Looks great in a photo but possibly the worst poke I've had. Such a let down.

Dana T.

As a Viet girly, I knew I had to try the nuoc mam sauce with my poke as this was so unique. I loved it! The flavor was amazing and at first I was worried about it tasting too much like fish sauce and not pairing well, but the flavors matched together perfectly. I really liked the onions with it too. I also got the tuna with shoyu sauce and this was yummy as well. The cucumber salad was a perfect side and I especially loved the dressing it came with. I also really liked that it came with wonton chips! Definitely coming back to get the nuoc mam poke and try more things!!

Ayoooooo!!! Been looking for a place that serves Hawaiian Style Poke that is already marinated. Not the Chipotle style poke that's everywhere. Nuc Poke understood the assignment. For $19.50 you get a 1/2 lb of poke which is a steal! I got Tuna Poke - Shoyu & Salmon Poke - Honey Wasabi with sides Imitation Crab Salad & Seaweed Salad. It comes with Rice & no couple of wonton chips. Only thing is I wish they had a brick and mortar. This is an order and pick up place. If you haven't tried this place you need to go ASAP! Service was quick. Parking lot is is behind the building.

Parking is a little bit crazy around the area. I got lucky because it was a federal holiday on Juneteenth. But if you can find parking, it is well worth it! This hole in the wall place is inside a small little food court next to pizza and a Thai place. I know it might seem a little bit sketchy around the neighborhood, but there's some tables inside to eat and also nice little photo area outside of the food hall. Food: - SHRIMP 15/10 would recommend. Make sure you eat it right then and there with shell on. It had the best seasoning, butter and crunch. I could just do 40 of these. I chose the green salad, but you could also choose cucumber and Mac salad as well. The green salad was packed to the brim! - Meat Jun - ALSO FIRE. It was super tender and flavorful. Don't sleep on this one as well. Quality of meat is amazing. Service does take a little bit longer around 15 min but for the quality of food, I don't mind waiting. As I was thinking about this in the car, I thought to myself it did seem kind of expensive $22 for shrimp and $26 for the beef but we did get complementary drinks so same same. I know it takes a lot of time and energy to prep this deliciousness. Overall, everything was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much Broken Mouth for the experience! We'll definitely be back soon to try the short rib. Cool future implementation: Would love to have a bigger mix and match or 2 item combo box!

Their musubis were hot and fresh when served. They were cut in half to fit in their to-go containers, which was thoughtful and convenient. The spam they used wasn't the traditional kind that we're used to seeing. It was thicker, but still tasted the same. There was also a lot of teriyaki sauce that off-set the salinity from the spam. There was more sauce than I'd like, it can get a bit messy when you eat them. It was delicious, none-the-less! I definitely recommend getting those. My husband enjoyed the Macadamia Pancakes! He said loved the cream on top and the portion was well worth the $9. The restaurant was pretty packed when we got there around 11am on Sunday. There is only one cashier, so the line will build easily and start to feel a bit congested. They have several menus available to peruse while you're waiting to order. Parking is tight and can be a challenge. We had to circle twice before we found one. Note, it is shared between them and another establishment. They offer seating indoor and outdoor in front and back of the restaurant. Both sides are shaded, it's a great option if you want to enjoy the breeze. I don't normally drive out this way, but I'm glad this passport forced me to come out to try this one. I would love to try their poke! Thanks, Aloha Food Factory, for the great food! Over the years I've gotten take-out here but have also done dine-in. It seems they mostly do catering now, because they have very short business hours for the public. Their website says their dining room is closed, but the employee says it's open Thurs and Fri. Nevertheless, I followed the website's info and ordered pick up. Here's what I ordered: 1) Komai's Big Breakfast. Komai was Aloha's original chef. Two eggs with all the meats: Portuguese sausage, Spam, Vienna sausage, corned beef hash plus 2 scoops of rice and a Hawaiian roll. No surprises here, very nice. 2) Kal B Chicken plate lunch. Chicken marinated in the same sauce as the more familiar kalbi beef short ribs, with rice and mac salad. The chicken did not seem to take up the marinade as well as beef, so it was tasty but on the dry side. I'd probably give their chicken teriyaki a go next time. The mac salad was fine, did have potatoes. 3) Spam musubi. Again no surprises, classic 4) ordered a side of char siu, but it was not available.
