This business is great! First of all, I was looking for a place that can do a Trust for my mom and dad especially when they are getting up there in age. I did my research, called different businesses and finally settled on one which was Novas Law. Out of all the different Law Firms, they were the best. The people working there are very friendly and knowledgeable. Natalie and Robert explained to us the differences between a Will and a Trust. Of course we settled on a Trust. The reason being is that it has more protection than a Will. They both went through the paper work with us thoroughly and meticulously. As responsive as this office was, their(his) office practices do not seem to have merit. We came in for the initial consultation on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and the front desk rep asked for our identification (IDs). I asked what she needed our ID's for, she said "are all of you going in?" I said yes - she said, "yes I need the ID's of all going in". I thought, well that's odd but must be a security thing. So we all handed over our ID's. As soon as I saw the rep walk over to the copier with our ID's I asked why was she about to take a copy of our ID's if this was an initial consultation? We're not clients yet. She said it was office policy. I said, okay is this written down somewhere with valid reasoning as to why ID's are being copied on an initial consultation? She then went to the back to grab the attorney. He came to the front, introduced himself, and asked what was the question. I asked again, why was the rep attempting to take copies of our ID's for an initial consultation when we haven't committed to being clients? He said it was his office policy, in case we're discussing something that may pertain to other clients he has on file - I think that's how he explained it - which didn't make sense at all. I've never had to allow a law office to take a photo copy of my ID. He said other words, but it just wasn't adding up- he eventually responded with "well, this is the office policy, and this is my business so.." that's when we knew this wasn't the office/person we wanted to do business with. Moving forward, if there is a valid and legal reason to backup this attorney's office policy, he should include it on a consent form identifying why/how they will be using the copy of your legal identification information. read more

Wow! Novas Law and Associates were very helpful with regards to executing my mom's trust. For years, I was just hoping she would execute all her documents as she is now a widow. Mr. Novas and staff were extremely patient with my mom's ideas and her talking. They let her ask many questions and were just the kindest people. Furthermore, when we went back for the second visit to have her sign all documents and the grant deed they were presented in such an organized manner.
