This is the biggest rip off place I've ever seen. My husband and I went to the Natural Bridge…read morelocation. Never saw a Dr Padda. Saw someone who was supposed to be a doctor. Extreme long wait. Took a lot of blood which I could not get the results. Was sending us to get an entire body nerve test. I have already had one on my right leg. That was very painful. I actually was in the restroom when he decided all this. I don't even remember the other things we were supposed to have done. Other people were coming and going quickly. My husband got the same paperwork even though he had an established history with pain mgt Dr's. Ours just moved out of state. I had proven problems also but he was much worse. We never heard a word from anyone after I am sure they didn't even do the test or we should have heard something. But they didn't even have results when I called them. Think they just wanted the money. This was several years ago when they showed 7 locations. Hopefully they are cleaning up their act.

This is excessive and unnecessary treatment just so I can have a few oral meds for pain. They're often not called in and don't expect a call back. It's a dirty clinic that usually is out of soap, paper towels and toilet paper even while lots of urine screens are going on. All the kind employees have left, I'm following their led if I ever get my requested medical records. You'll be told "spin the wheel and pick a spot" for injections because he won't order anything without them.

Their sign in the front has bullet holes and graffiti on it - if that gives you any indication of how it is inside. Like most people, I'm not a big fan of hospitals. The only experiences i've had involve cancer and…read morepeople not leaving them. So, I was a little worried to hear some of the comments about St. A, the hospital where I'd be undergoing gastric banding surgery. "It's old, it's falling apart, it's dark and creepy and people try and push their religion on you." I'm happy to report back that all, except the last, are untrue. As cliched as it may be, the people are really the lifeblood of this place. From the first blood test, everyone was fantastic. Cheerful without being syrupy. But, more important than demeanor, they worked fast. I had to go in for a day of tests and they zipped me from department to department, I never sat and waited for than a few minutes. The staff in the NewStart wing was really friendly and human. They were jokey and some even had the balls to tell them they hated NYC - I'm talking to you Dr. Shah the anesthesiologist! After the surgery, the nursing staff was great - prompt, friendly and quick with the pain meds. There was one sweet old lady that I wanted to punch in her liver-spotted face. After surgery, Betty came walking into my room and asked if I was Christian. I said no and her immediate response was "So, you don't believe in God?" No Betty, i'm a heathen. Christianity is obviously the only option, right Betty? As if the picture of the new pope in the lobby wasn't enough to make you turn to Rock & Roll. No matter how prepared you are, it's always a little scary to go in for surgery. But everyone, except Betty, kept me at ease and I felt great the whole way through.

Unfortunately this wasn't a good experience. They get two stars for seeing me so quickly and having…read morea clean space. Both the medical assistant and nurse were pretty condescending about my symptoms. Last week, I watched two children at my work who both were diagnosed with pneumonia. Symptoms line up with pneumonia but also bronchitis or a cold and that's why I came to them. Now, I know that doesn't mean I have it also but I have been sick for the last few days and instead of talking to me more in depth about the symptoms both women told me why it couldn't be pneumonia and if that was my main concern "this isn't the place for me". Just not a welcoming or inviting experience and it doesn't make me want to go back.

You know the classic symptoms: horrible sore throat, low fever, chills. I waited only a couple of minutes after signing myself in to their computer system. They are staffed by a nurse practitioner who, like a doctor, can give physical exams and administer some medications. She gave me a strep test and looked over the rest of me before administering some antibiotics. I'm giving this particular Take Care Center five stars because of the nurse's wonderful bedside manners. I was a bit of a wreck when I walked in there that day, and she was the kindest woman I've ever met. She seemed so caring; it made me feel so much better just by her warmth alone. I'm probably going to have to send her a Christmas card now, just because I feel like she deserves it.
