I told them three things- I didn't want my ear to be sticking out, I didn't want my hair blowing in my face or sticking on me from the humidity and I'm very particular with the shape of my eyebrows. I did my research, and thought that Jessica's pricing was very reasonable, and that her work resembled what I was looking for. With less than a week heads up, she was able to coordinate a time for my hair and makeup, and was so accommodating! I was very happy with the results after she was complete, but the real test came for the actual engagement shoot where we were on the beach getting splashed with ocean water, and battling wind. I have VERY fine blonde hair, and every piece stayed in place (and it was down in loose curls!), and my makeup look like it had just been put on despite hours in humid/wet conditions --- I was floored! Obviously with such a great experience, I booked her and her team for our wedding date once we settled on a venue. The results on our wedding day were nothing short of what I expected. She guided me through the process of how to do multiple (1 bride, 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and a groom's service) people's hair/makeup within tight timeframe, and even was able to take on an extra person for hair, and a groomsmen for a touchup last minute! It speaks to her expertise that she could put on my eyelashes all while the hotel staff climbed ladders to fix the A/C, room service fluffed the pillows and bedding, dropped off a celebratory bottle and chocolates. She kept telling me we would later laugh about it and she's right. Aside from some general requests on how I wanted my hair and makeup to look, I trusted her to do her thing and she delivered.
