Healthcare can be such a frustrating path--you get passed from person to person, appointment to appointment, and sometimes leave with more questions than answers. Caid is the complete opposite. He does not let you leave until you feel 100% comfortable with the game plan. He explains what's happening, what your options are, what the possible outcomes are, and most importantly, makes you feel like there is actually someone on your team helping connect all the dots. Years ago, I was dealing with significant back problems. After seeing multiple people, Caid was the one who truly listened, gave me sound advice, and helped me create a clear plan forward. I can honestly say today that I am pretty much pain-free. More recently, I suddenly developed a scary issue where it literally felt like I was breathing through a straw for no apparent reason. I had already been to the ER and other clinics trying to figure out what was going on before finally going back to Caid. Once again, he listened, took me seriously, helped make sense of everything, and gave me an actual game plan--without making me feel stupid, dismissed, or like I needed five more appointments just to get answers. At this point, I'll never be stupid enough to try somewhere else first again. Caid has truly changed my life and my family's life. I trust him completely and would not want to go anywhere else for myself or my family. And it's not just Caid--the staff, the entire team, the cleanliness of the clinic, the communication, and the level of care are all A+. If he even gets a scratch now, he will ask if he can go see Dr. Aardema! He cares so much about his patients and remembers every detail about your ailments. Most of the care is top-notch. Nearly all the providers I've had are compassionate and professional. There is, however, the occasional provider who is not familiar with rare complicated disorders, and seems not as willing to stretch their knowledge to provide care. Perhaps it's an abundance of caution, but they do route me out to the hospital a little more often than I'd like for things I'm sure we could've managed at home. Better safe than sorry. However, I do agree with the previous review regarding past billing issues!!! It was a constant battle. But with this new move to MyChart in late 2025, those issues seem to be resolved. Crossing my fingers that the billing continues to be right throughout 2026. But marked improvement since that change. (It would be really nice if IH would correct the old errors though! Despite frequent calls, they have refused to correct billing errors on my account since 2018. The worst part of that is IF the *insurance company* makes an error there's recourse, but when it's the provider, apparently there's no laws protect protecting us.)

Wish I would have been told that when I called and described my problem initially. I was billed over $100 for an office visit that I had to take off work for. Then I got to pay another $100 at Ogden Clinic, where my problem was solved with no issues. Save your time and money and just avoid this place. Awful customer service, no way to have concerns addressed by a human, they will just send you to collections no matter how reasonable your dispute is. This place is dirty and not adequately climate controlled for the medical procedures they perform. There was always a long wait when I showed up on time for my appointment. They had a doctor I liked but she went to work somewhere else.

Today I spent over 90 minutes on the phone on hold. That is becoming more common as Tanner gets their tentacles into Westside. I am now looking for a new doctor so I don't have to go back to Westside.

Sara is the best of the best! She is caring and thorough. She is one of the few medical…read morepractitioners that I've dealt with that doesn't make me feel like she's in a hurry to get me out of the office. She always takes as much (or as little time) as needed. And I know that she treats all of her patients that same way. In addition her staff is exactly the same way. I don't have to visit her often, but when my wife and/or I do have to see her, her staff always makes us feel at home and greets us by name. Most other medical places I've been to, you go in, tell the receptionist that you have an appointment and they ask you for your name. When I go to see Sara, the receptionist says, "Hi Adam! Have a seat and Sara will be with you in a few minutes." And I've NEVER waited for ore than five minutes or so before being put into a room. Sara always comes in pretty much right after her nurse takes my blood pressure etc. I highly recommend!
