A tale of two servers... I stopped by on a Tuesday early evening to get some cocktails with some business friends. We were the only group tucked away from the main bar so our drink rotation was going to be powered by the servers. My first drink (only) was the "Country Club Wifey" I loved the name and the cocktail itself was delish: Belvedered Vodka, Lemon Verbena infused calvados, lemon, black tea, herbsaint. This creative cocktail was refreshing. The server mentioned checked on us once then shortly after mentioned she was going on break. We closed out our check. We were waiting for the new server to stop by and introduce herself for 15+ minutes. I ran into her as I asked for instructions to the restroom. 25 minutes later came around to get another round of drinks for the group. Unfortunately, I had to leave for another appointment. This is a gorgeous lounge. Classy, sophisticated and spacious. The lights were dim to a perfect lounge mood. I'm definitely bringing future dates here. I saw a pool table and a stage for live music. I'm looking forward to returning and trying the "Far East Cowboy" and "Private Party" cocktails. I'm crossing my fingers for faster service so I can upgrade this review to 4+ Stars. Although the live music was fun to have, the performance of the night wasn't all that great to be honest..felt a bit random and messy. If you're looking for a jazz bar for the music, probably go elsewhere. Otherwise it's a small place and the atmosphere is very cozy. Service was nice but we couldn't find our waitress when we really needed her. The drinks and snacks were fairly good, no complaints. read more

It's a good place to catch up with people for small talk, and can definitely be made to feel romantic. Put a little effort into your outfit to not feel out of place. The speciality cocktails are $19 per drink and pretty delicious. My family got the Private Party, Let's Elope, and Musa Paradise plus 2 well-drinks. I enjoyed the Private Party the most because of the unique soursop flavor. Pro-quality live music every night - sometimes louder than others (and sometimes too loud for an old guy who wants to talk to his friends, even when he's seated well away from the stage) - but it's always good. Fantastic decor and chill vibe (unless it's too loud - old guy shakes his cane). Service has been on-it and attentive. Good quality complimentary bar snacks enhance the pro-level cocktails. If you've ever been to Delilah at the wynn this is basically on par as far as furnishings, drinks and ambiance/music. Except you don't have to pay for dinner, there isn't a stupid no picture rule and there isn't even a drink minimum. If this place was in my hometown I'd have to pay at least a few hundred just to sit in such a well appointed space, have a drink and listen to music. Hell if you go down the street to the wynn you are paying that at Delilah. So you are getting good value for your money here. read more

Fun little find at the Fontainebleau. If you're staying there because it's adjacent to the elevator lobby it's not hard to miss. Went there after dinner to drink and relax. The house band was great playing covers of all sorts of material from Frank Sinatra to George Michael. Drinks were well made. My dearest ordered a Riesling and I ordered their Narrator, essentially an old fashioned. Both were great. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. When you enter you can ask to be seated close to the stage or farther depending on your tolerance for volume. I'm a little older now so I asked to be in the middle. Unfortunately the caveat to that was my view was a little obstructed but pillars, plants, and a pool table which when in use meant people constantly crossing your line of sight. Enough to ruin the moment? Nah, good music, a drink, and my wife holding my hand. Hard to ruin. read more

This is a cool place with a New Orleans vibe. I love the jazz band. Singer and the saxaphone player were entertaining as we watched with our signature cocktails Narrator and Stairway to Nowhere. Drinks were good, bartenders were friendly. There is a pool table which is first come first serve I believe...but sets a relaxed vibe. Great place to spend time with friends and family and just unwind and chill. Seating at the bar is good, however there are plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs that may require reservations. We walked in with no issues ordered a drink or two and watched the band play for a bit and then headed back to our rooms. My boyfriend took me to Vegas for my birthday celebration and we have never been to the Fontainebleau Hotel. We decided to visit the hotel and check out Nowhere Lounge. Upon entering the place, we hear live music. We love how intimate the lounge feels as well as the ambience. It has a classic looking golden era vibe. We ordered the Country Club Wifey and Cinema Noir cocktails. They were well made and delicious. We will definitely be back here again to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The only reason I gave a 4 star: my boyfriend was looking for the restroom. We didn't know we weren't allowed to ask the bartenders where the restroom location was. Was wandering the new Fountaine Bleau casino hotel with some local friends and came upon this bar/lounge tucked away next to the coffee shop. The atmosphere seemed like the perfect mix of upscale, spacious Vegas lounge and moody, cozy speakeasy-style bar. We weren't disappointed. The drinks were fantastic -- inventive but delicious. Staff was very chill and friendly. But I especially have to note employee Andrew for safekeeping my travel mug that I accidentally left there. He not only made sure it was secure -- he washed it for me and left a nice note! Kindness and service like that seems to be rare in Vegas recently. Awesome lounge with great vibes. Nice place to visit after a nice dinner, which is exactly what we did. It was a Thursday night and we'd just wrapped up dinner at a nearby restaurant. A few of us in our group hadn't visited Fountainebleau yet so we were taken on a little tour. Landed at Nowhere. The DJ was on point and got us out on the dance floor. We went in about 10pm on a Monday night. Everywhere else is dead, but we were attracted to the live jazz music in this bar. Upon arrival we were immediately sat down to the farthest table from the stage possible. And then... there's no and then. we were just left there for a good 20 minutes? and then the server never came. There was one hostess that came by after a while and asked us if anyone served us yet. But that's about it. Other than talking to each other, we were just sitting there and reading the drink menu. But no service at all. So we decided to leave. read more

My guy and I are Vegas locals and went to Nowhere Lounge to see our friends play jazz last week around 8 pm. The hotel itself was beautiful and elegant, so I had high expectations of the lounge. Unfortunately, the vibe inside the lounge could have been better. Throughout the night, men lit up cigars around us, which smelled really bad and was very distracting. You'd think they'd know to go elsewhere (like a cigar room) to puff on those things, because they really spoiled the vibe (and air quality). I'd hoped Fontainebleau restaurants and lounges would be smoke-free, but sadly, I guess not. By the way, the Fontainebleau website very clearly states the only place smoking is permitted is on the casino floor. So what gives?? Maybe you need to retrain your staff so they actually enforce the rules. The other thing we didn't care for was the pool table sandwiched in the middle of a walkway right by our table. The rowdy and drunk people playing pool next to us frequently bent over and stuck the back end of their pool cues right in front us while they were making a shot. At one point, one of the drunk women started doing push-ups on the carpet in front of our table. I think the pool table should be moved to another area where it's not in the way, because even though we tried to adjust the position of our table so it was as far away from the pool table as possible, it really didn't work. As beautiful as the lounge was and as great as the music sounded, I feel the vibe has some ways to go here. I suggest they create a section inside the lounge for smokers if they don't get rid of smoking altogether, and move the pool table where it won't ruin the experience of other patrons. Also, $7 for a small bottle of Fiji water is crazy. I left twice to refill our bottle at one of the hotel's water dispensers so we'd have enough to drink. read more

While every lounge at Fontainebleau Las Vegas has a distinct identity, atmosphere and aura as well as experiential signature cocktails, Nowhere was by far my personal favorite I visited for a couple of key reasons. Firstly, despite jazz still more than holding its own as a well-respected genre in the American canon and is unremittingly cited among many venerated top stars today as creative influences in their own sound...............jazz lounges have sadly steadily been shuttering their doors and it has been increasingly challenging finding an authentic experience of this sort. So serendipitously discovering this at Nowhere put a wall-to-wall Cheshire grin on my face. Resident jazz vocalist Mikalah Gordon was performing during my visit, and she is unmistakably one of the most charismatic, charming jazz vocalists I've discovered in quite some time. Her backing band were certainly quite skilled as well: with Mikalah doing her level best ensuring each of them had their time in the spotlight showcasing individual solos and interludes. But it was the audience interaction and engagement that fully made this performance memorable and special and lent immense moxie to this lounge. =) Secondly: the decor and ambience felt inviting, classy, sophisticated and warm in a way that didn't feel synthetic or calculated. Nowhere is without doubt very upscale and ritzy, but not ostentatiously so in that it emulates the approachable, quintessential speakeasy mood remarkably well. =) I ordered two of their signature cocktails: the Monte Carlo Squad and Let's Elope. Neither were among the most aesthetically-alluring or distinct signature cocktails I enjoyed throughout my Fontainebleau stay, but where they lacked in gala they were quite delicious and refreshing between the former's tangerine-kissed lashings of bourbon, and the latter's summer fruit-kissed elegance. They also provided some complimentary lounge snacks in the form of lightly-salted cashews as well as vegetable chips which were pretty tasty. Both the front receptionists/greeters as well as servers were friendly and attentive...........I exceptionally enjoyed my time here and will most certainly be back! read more
