Hidden spot downtown. The drinks were stunning. Everything is so colorful. The drinks were not overly strong, but you definitely got your money worth. Everybody was super nice to see us. They gave the recommendations of what we wanted to try. We'll definitely come back here.

After bar hopping most of downtown this had to be our favorite speakeasy. It felt upscale with tasty drinks and little easter eggs. It has a jungle theme throughout and comfortable seating. The service we received from bartender, Mark, was outstanding. Such a social person who made sure we were taken care of. I can't wait to go back!

This is the coolest place! There is a panther painting on the wall. The eyes follower you around. Jungle decor. Lots of plants. Delicious drinks and small bites. Service was friendly and prompt.

A Hidden Gem With a Jungle Vibe -- The Perfect Spot Before a Date or Night Out If you're looking for a place to set the tone before a date, dinner, or night out, Prowl is it. This isn't a stay-all-night kind of bar -- it's the perfect pre-game lounge for good conversation, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe. When you walk in, it's dark, clean, and beautifully designed. The ambience is chill and modern with a subtle tropical touch. The walls feature LED-style animated displays that make it feel like you're in a jungle -- flowers moving, leaves swaying, and even a jaguar emerging from behind the bar. It's unique and immersive, creating a mood that feels upscale but still low-key. It's easy to miss from the street -- just a small door with a discreet sign on the bottom left that says Prowl -- but once inside, you'll instantly get why people love it. I ordered a cocktail that included Pisco Sour, and as someone from Peru, I was impressed with how well it was made. The drink was over $15, but absolutely worth it. The flavor was smooth, balanced, and beautifully done. The service was great, though the drink took a little while to arrive since it was busy for a Saturday afternoon. Still, the wait was worth it -- you can tell the bartenders put care into every cocktail. Overall, Prowl is a great spot to grab a few drinks before heading to dinner or the club. It's stylish, relaxed, and the kind of place that makes you want to come back for the vibe alone.

This place is exactly what I needed! As an animal print lover I felt right at home & on the Prowl.....Marco was so cool and attentive and the immersive decor in this place, mixed with their amazingly themed cocktails really brought out the cougar in me I cannot wait to come back and try a new cocktail .

Prowl is a fantastic Arts District cocktail bar next to Stray Pirate (same ownership) and should absolutely be on your list to visit. Amazing atmosphere. The animated jaguar above the bar always seems as if she's looking at you. And be sure to pop into the rear restroom and look up. Very interesting cocktail menu, but if you're lucky enough to get Jackie as a bartender, she's a phenomenal mixologist. Tell her what sort of drinks you like and just ask her to make whatever comes into her head--you won't be disappointed at the sophisticated and unusual result,

If you like Stray Pirate then come next-door to their sister bar for more great craft cocktails. There is no advertising for this place, but you will see one wooden door. Open it up and you are transported into a jungle. There is very limited seating. We were lucky enough to grab a table around 10 PM on a Saturday night. The ambience is very cool with large screens with jungle foliage as well as a black panther behind the bar. The lighting fixtures were also very cool. Of course I had to have the sex panther cocktail. It was very good with a coconut flavor. We had a great time.

Super cool concept. This is a sister project to the Bar next door and I would highly recommend to ask one of the workers how this bar came about. The whole place will make sense after you hear the story and how it ties with the bar next door. The service was nice, the bartender was super cool and friendly. The vibe was more on the chill side which was nice. They will have their grand opening at the end of July and their menu will include more drinks along with food. The drinks we got were pretty tasty. Overall, I'm looking to seeing a full menu and trying different drinks. Definitely coming back.

Pros: Great drinks and vibe. Cons: Not a huge place Details: We popped in on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The place has a pretty cool vibe and we found out it is related to Stray Pirate next door. Similar to Stray, the drinks are excellent. The service was also very friendly. Not a big place though so I am not sure how it would be on a busy night. Worth a stop.

Super cute bar at the Arts District located right next door to The Stray Pirate. The decor is immaculate and flows so well. It was dimly lit and would be a great spot for date night. Cocktails were delicious and unique. Be sure to check out the bathroom cause it's really cute!

Nailed it. Moss covered stone walls with spearhead accent lighting over crushed velvet seating.

Vegas is officially having a cocktail moment, and Prowl just punctuated that statement with an exclamation mark. With Liquid Diet and Stray Pirate already holding down the block, downtown Vegas has transformed into a genuine cocktail destination, and now it's raining cats and dogs, literally, from Stray Pirate's canine-inspired shipwreck vibe next door to Prowl's sleek panther-driven aesthetic. From the moment you step inside, Prowl feels distinct yet effortlessly welcoming. The décor hits an elusive sweet spot with rich moss-covered rock walls, glowing orbs above, cool crystal-like lighting, beautifully themed bathrooms, and creative digitally animated screens that feel like windows deep into a lush jungle. While it might be a nod to the Jungle Room at Graceland, Prowl is its own animal. Plush booths upholstered in warm velvet tones add a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe without any hint of pretension. Great spaces don't become unforgettable without the right people behind them, and Chris Gutierrez, general manager and cocktail creator, ensures Prowl absolutely delivers. Alex was behind the bar during our visit, expertly crafting every drink with undeniable talent. Each cocktail, like the fresh and beautifully balanced "Monstera Mash" and the delightfully layered "Neon Flamingo" (complete with a tiny flamingo garnish), is a masterclass in flavor and creativity. Chris's welcoming presence and genuine enthusiasm as he showed us around further highlight the depth of passion behind this place. Prowl doesn't just have good liquor; it has an expertly curated selection and knows exactly how to elevate every drop. Every cocktail we tried was flawless, proving this team isn't just talented, they're inspired. We'll absolutely be back ASAP. If you haven't been yet, go now before the cat's fully out of the bag. There's no dress code at Prowl, but let's be honest...this isn't your average downtown dive. It's a lush, cinematic jungle escape built with intention and care. You'll feel welcome however you show up, but if you want the full effect, channel your inner Sex Panther. 60% of the time, putting in a little effort works every time.

Great experience here! Decor was beautiful. Service was quick & friendly. Walked in as a group of 4 on a Saturday night with no issues, but it was the same weekend as the Neon Festival. All of the cocktails we ordered were delicious! This was 1 of 3 bars we hopped to that night, & we all agreed Prowl was our fav for drinks. I ordered the Neon Flamingo & it was refreshing & sweet, which is just the way I like it! Would return again!

This has got to be one of my favorite bars in the downtown area! The ambience is jungle themed with a highlight of Black Panther and they do it so well. The bartending staff is very nice and super attentive. They checked on us for drinks all throughout the night and made them extremely quick and tasty. I ordered the tropical howler, which was a light sugary mixed cocktail with all the right proportions. It was one of the best ones that I've had in a while. The bathrooms are extremely clean and the bar area is very well kept I would highly recommend checking this out on your next night on the town.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

As someone who loves all things quirky and unusual, The Golden Tiki has always been right up my alley. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.
