So I came in for my first time.My appointment was at 1 but I called to come in earlier and they took me right away, which was awesome and my namel tech was Benny, he's such a hoot.I love it and he did a great job.I recommend anybody that has children also to come here because they got the hook up for 27$ dollars for pedicures , starting also, ladies if you like to get a full set done , you get a free mimosa offered if you like to drink and treat yourself while being treated

Second Edit: YOU SOUND RIDICULOUS, YOUR CLEARLY STATING YOU ARE NOT A DOCTOR. Your response ACTING AS IF YOU HAVE THE Credentials to diagnose me is even more shameful. The truth is my medical records reads INFECTION. Whether you like it or not I was seen by a doctor at Sutter Medical who has diagnosed me with an infection. Further more sir, I was also put out on medical leave for over 7 days until the infection goes away. Doesn't sound like an allergic reaction to me. Do better! Edited: NOW THE OWNER WANTS TO RESPOND... all of a sudden lol.. CLASSIC - Unfortunately for you Mr. Owner who now wants to actually respond because he is now receiving a bad review, he has a lot to say. Let me educated you, my medical documents states I contracted AN INFECTION, NOT AN ALLERGIC REACTION to your services. There's a huge difference between an allergic reaction and an Infection sir. I am not allergic to anything and have been to many different nails shops as well, this has never happened before. The problem at hand is YOUR LACK of accountability, sympathy, professionalism and very poor customer service! That's the problem. $85.00 plus a tip doesn't break my bank sir. I am VERY successful business owner myself, I make money in my sleep. It's not the money it's the principle! You as a business owner is Morally wrong! My medical records and test results do not lie sir, I guess we will do this the hard way since me just coming to your shop to address the issue professionally and instead I got the worst customer service. You have zero concerns for any issues or concerns, you deflect by making this okay and put blame on my health as if you know my medical history with zero chances of your shop doing anything wrong. Taking yourself out of the equation completely is really sickening. Disinfect and sanitize your equipment and no one else will contract an infection how about that! Review: I want to share my recent experience at NT Nail Spa because it has been extremely painful and concerning. I called in for an appointment on Thursday September 11, 2025 for a full set with a bit of style, expecting a relaxing visit. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. Later on that night, my fingers started to swell, turn red, and became very painful. Within hours, the pain was unbearable (10 out of 10) and I had to go to the emergency room. The ER doctor confirmed that I had developed an infection from the un-sterilized nail equipment used to do my nails. I was prescribed antibiotics right away, given a shot on my arm to stop the infection from spreading. I went back to the nail shop to show the manager what my fingers looked like and requested a refund for this terrible service and sure enough the manager was super rude and unprofessional. He proceeded to call the owner and also took pictures of my hands and sent it to him. To my surprise the owner was even more rude, unprofessional and showed no sympathy for what had happened to my fingers. The manager had the nerve to say that it was an allergic reaction from my end, and nothing they did wrong. Mind you the infection is on all 10 of my fingers, not just one or two fingers but all 10 fingers consistently. I proceeded to ask to speak to the owner but the manger refused to give access to the owner. I asked for a refund, the manager pointed to a sign that said " no refunds" Since then, I've had 2 trips to the ER, I am now unable to go back to work until this infection is gone! I was put on antibiotics, a shot on the arm and another medication to kill the infection. I was recommended by the doctor to get the nails removed but how can I? Having to soak my infected fingers into acetone to remove my nails will cause a bigger infection. I have been to millions of different nails shops all over the Bayarea, Valley Area, LA ect, this has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. To say the infection was caused by me being allergic to their nail supplies, as if the owner knew I had a history of allergies is outrageous!! I am not allergic to anything FYI. Shame on you as a business owner and a service provider to have such poor customer service, zero sympathy or concerns for your clients concerns or health after receiving poor service. I went back to the nail shop With the intentions to 1. Address the concerns and show what happened so they can fix the issue and assure it doesn't happen again to anyone else. 2. Definitely deserving of a refund for what I am going through! Instead I was treated like shit and they kept my money. Please see pictures below for your reference and I hope anyone reading this, if you are planning to go to this place 1. I DO NOT RECOMMEND 2. Please make sure that the equipment being used on you are properly maintained sterilized prior to using. And 3. I will NEVER GO BACK. -ZERO STARS FOR ME.

I usually love getting services done here (the CBD pedicure is great!) I went today for a manicure. I waited about half an hour, no biggie, except they took back clients before me who got there after me and did not have appointments. (Though sitting there for so long I did notice a cluster of spiders on the ceiling with missing light fixtures) Tony came to get me. When I sat down I told him I wanted a spa manicure with massage and scrub and wax, but that I cannot have gel polish as I am allergic to the UV light (I'm allergic to the sun hence no UV) he said ok. He proceeds with the usual soak and cuticle trimming. Then he says he'll do the massage after the polish and he proceeds to set up to do gel polish. I remind him, I am allergic to UV so I cannot have gel. So then he slaps some lotion on my arms, barely rubs not even for a minute and wipes off with a towel, never getting any on my hands. Then he sloppily painted my nails (very few color options if I don't get gel apparently) so I just got black, which he applied sloppily. He then wrote out my ticket, told me thank you and proceeded to go on to another client who wanted a pedicure and told me to stay in front of the fan till nails dry (while waiting for my nails to dry, I noticed more missing light fixtures and peeling paint on the ceiling) No massage, no scrub, no paraffin dip. I paid $27 (no tip as it was most definitely not deserved) for something I could have just done at home. I was really looking forward to some pampering as I have been taking care of my parents and working full time. I am very disappointed and hope the salon will redeem themselves if I decide to return

I had both sets photoed done by two males that work in the salon. Amazing work both times. Highly recommend. Very sanitary. I regret that I went elsewhere while out of town. Can't wait to go back and have the staff at NT make me love my nails again.

They said that I should've told them something every time I asked her to fix something. She gave me a look and started talking in her language to other people. I'm not the type to ever write a bad review after a bad experience somewhere but todayI got HORRIBLE service! decided to come here because I seen it had many good reviews. I asked for a full pink French tip set and a pedicure, these were my results, I had to correct the lady multiple times because she kept leaving them uneven and I honestly am not a fan of the end results, she kept hurting me the whole time with her long nails and she was very very ruff and she left one of my thumbs bleeding, she didn't even shape them how I asked she just shaped them squared, she took 2 and a half hours to finish and I paid $80 for this and didn't get my pedicure done so I ended up going to a different place for it . I will never be going back to NT nails again read more

I had an appt with Helen today and she was amazing. I got a manicure and pedicure done. I recommend getting the CBD pedicure. I stand all day for work, and after a 7 day work week that pedicure was very relaxing. The atmosphere at the salon was relaxing. I will be back in a couple weeks. read more

I had the most wonderful experience here... I've been going to the same place for a long time... and was nervous for somewhere new.. but I also knew that Helen would take care of me. I have been going to Helen for 15+ years and she truly is amazing! Always taking care of me and making her best efforts to get me in with my crazy schedule! I was excited to walk in to a new place and see her and be somewhere clean, classy, updated.. so awesome. The rest of the staff were polite & helpful. All around great experience at this shop! What a lovely spa! Very bright and clean, soft music playing, no loud TVs. Conveniently located next to Target and TJMax. Friendly knowledgeable receptionist, walk ins welcome. Went in and got a full set pedicure on Thursday afternoon. Friday afternoon I had to go back because they were too thick on the big toes and made it uncomfortable to wear shoes and they thinned it out which helped but was still uncomfortable. Second time going there, and very disappointed. I get a dip fill and they always file your nails down until your aching in pain because they don't have the patience to soak. My first set last me not even 3 weeks before they broke and cracked. But I literally went yesterday and while I waited for the nail tech to finish my sisters nail, noticed the guy smudged my thumb nail and had it fixed. Then I go home, wash dishes and my nail is already cracked. Worst nail techs ever. Mostly because it's rushed with no patience. Also, cuticles are never cleaned up, they just use the drill for everything and don't consider nail health. read more

Less is more, at least for me. Lol My girl/nail expert does it again. Been living in Manteca for 3 years, needed to find my new person when I moved here and I have found her. 3 years and going strong with my girl, Helen!! I'm more of a simple girl but she does it all! She makes you feel so welcome when you walk through those doors, like we been friends since high school. She will do exactly what you want or gives you the best recommendations of what she thinks is best based off your interests. She's amazing yall!!! The salon is nice and has so many color selections. I feel that some of these reviews are far off and sound like anomalies. Some times you just need the right person for the best experience. I definitely recommend this place and definitely recommend booking with Helen! One tip: don't wait til last minute to book because she does get booked very often. I booked today's appointment a month ago just ensure I secured a spot before my girl's trip!! Lol read more

I usually come for just full sets or fills for my nails but I decided to do a pedicure and it was the worst pedicure by far. I got a gel pedicure and little to no cuticle care and when I left my toenails were not filed evenly and barely filed. My pinky toe had half the polish on the nail and dead skin visible. There is no way as the person providing the service you look at this and say okay, you're all done and then charge $48 for this. read more

Moved out here recently and was on the hunt for a new nail salon.... So happy i got it on my first try! I love this place... customer service was nice .... Lee did me Pedi exactly how i wanted... Kim did my brows perfectly and Pham did the perfect full set!... super detailed work on my nails making sure the shape was perfect and i was happy with the color .... Pedi was relaxing and i love the spa chairs... brows were done super fast and with a nice clean arch just how i like it... i didn't have to give directions or keep checking their work... one photo of how i wanted my nails and it was all he needed... didn't have to give directions on my pedi, i was able to relax and enjoy it... so happy i found my new spot... can't wait to go back... oh! And it's a plus that this place is spacious with plenty of stations and beautiful! See you guys in a few weeks! read more

I've been an NT customer for almost three years. I'm so happy they've opened their Manteca location! It's only 15 minutes away from me vs. the 25-minute ride to Modesto. I love their customer service, and they do a great job with their services. I love Kim, she's awesome & very talented with her designs. Please bring T over from Sisk Rd he's the only person who knows how to do my feet with my problematic ingrown big toe nails. But besides that, they do great pedicures, too. They're very clean. I came to this new location asking who works on dipped nails. I tried to explain how I wanted the same color as last time light pink and that it took more applications to make the color the same as the sample. Did not listen as you can see it's white color, not pink. Not only am I not happy with the color, but when he went to remove the previous dip, he wanted to put my fingers in a bowl of acetone. I asked him not to do that to please wrap them in foil, and he stuck my fingers in it anyways. I had to pull my fingers out because they were burning and then I had to wait for him to get off his phone to come back for me to tell him again to wrap my nails in foil instead. At check out I tried to explain the color was not to my liking pretty much ignored my request just stated that was the color I picked. I'm upset with having to go elsewhere as I can't get past the color. To response below: Like stated above it was the same color I had last visit. I just needed more dip to make it the color I wanted or should I say that matched the color strip you provided. I just wished that everyone listened instead of being stern and not wanting to make it right for what I was asking. If it cost more than I would have been happy to pay just not happy to pay $50 and not happy with color, would you? read more

I got dip powder with a French tip on Friday 05/10/24 and two of my nails cracked and I called the nail salon and told them what happened and they said they would fix it. I told him I think it was a pink powder but I wasn't sure what one is exactly was and he said yes it's pink. He rushed fixing them and didn't even try to blend it. Really unfortunate because I like their pedicures. I didn't get the guys name who "fixed" them. read more

I wanted to really love this place! It's new and they claim to be a little more expensive but worth it. I'm always down to pay a little more and get an excellent job done. First visit two weeks ago. In a week 1 nail came off so I go back in to have it fixed. As Helen is working on my nails I'm thinking omg this is terrible. I didn't say anything because , first of all she didn't think a nail coming off in a week was a big deal. She insinuated it was my fault. So I knew I was dealing with an unreasonable person. Customer service terrible ! Price not worth it! They really aren't very talented and could use a few weeks back in school. I'm on a budget and I plan for trips to the salon. I don't think I should have had to pay to fix my nails that weren't done right to begin with. They charged $60 for a fill a week later and to fix the nail that came off. STAY AWAY!! EDIT- after owner commented- Great example of the lack of good customer service !! They can't fix the problem if they can't see a problem. So many other nail salons that are much better and better managed. Go anywhere else! This place is garbage!! read more

My friends and I went to NT Nail Spa on July 25,2025 and we all had acrylic nails filled. The salon was very clean, calm and relaxing! Rose did a fantastic job on my nails. She listened and understood what I wanted. She was fast, efficient and my nails look amazing! This was the best fill I have ever gotten. I already made my next appointment to return to Rose! One of my friends had Helen, who was also very good job and she will be returning to see Helen. My other friend had Linh. She liked her very much and said she would definite return to her! Iv gone to many nt nail employees both Modesto and Manteca. I never had a my favorite until a Louis. I love cute natural full sets but could never find someone who got it right specially a fill. I hated fill because they always come out bulky. But Louis is able to make a fill look like a brand new set! Absolutely love him he's the sweetest and puts so much effort to get you the perfect shape you want. read more

I had my nails done one week ago, and they're already breaking off. I went in to have one nail fixed 3 days later to be asked to pay $7 plus the $2 card fee, they're ridiculous. The lady at the front was extremely rude and embarrassed me. Go to NT in Modesto they have friendlier staff and quality service. read more

However, each of my last few visits have had small issues that, if they happened only once, I could have ignored. But, I can't really ignore the small issues anymore. I am not a confrontational person, so no, I did not say anything each time something happened because it felt nitpicky, until I realized that something was happening during every recent visit consistently. And overall, my experiences were still pretty good. One of the first times there was an issue with unprofessionalism it was something that made me uncomfortable. I once overheard the blonde lady, that's worked there for a long time, talking badly about someone's body that she had just given a Brazilian wax to. So, I noted to myself, to never get waxed there. The last several massages I've had there have been with the same person. And she's actually great. But some things have happened during my massages that have cut into my ability to relax. Every single massage for at least the last year, she has brought in what sounded like a metal container with iced water? And she repeatedly will refill a water bottle loudly during my massage with iced water and then constantly stop the massage to loudly drink from it with the ice in the metal bottle or cup clinking around. I have never seen what it is, because I am face down during the massage but that's what it sounds like. Multiple times I can hear this masseuse and have also caught other masseuses here texting or doing things on their phones during my massage. Let me preface this next one with, I am actually 420 friendly.... However, I am 99% sure during my most recent massage, she was hitting a vape. I smelled it MULTIPLE times during my massage. Normally doesn't bother me out in the real world... but during my massage??!! Also, when I walked in for my most recent massage, the owner, was who let me in. I said Hello, good morning to her. No response. Another thing worth noting is, their neighbors have LOUD barking dogs. I understand the spa cannot help this. But you can and will hear it during your massage. Something changed here. I am sad to have to go elsewhere.

Today was my second visit to this shop & have an appointment with Roy. I am really happy with his work. He gave me a fill 2 weeks prior & I was quite happy with the results. I ask for a new set. to my surprise the process of removing the old set did not HURT at all unlike other nail shops. He soaked my nails in a solution and carefully sand off the old set layer by layer. Other nail shops opt the short cut route by force peeling off the old set from my natural nails. (Going to a nail salon should not be painful.) He took his time to apply the new set on and matched each nail length with the other hand. I used to love NT Nails--they had great service, talented nail techs, and a welcoming atmosphere. But after a complete staff turnover, the quality has plummeted. I took a break, hoping they'd hire skilled techs and improve, but it's only gotten worse. The work is rushed, uneven, and just plain sloppy. My nails were lumpy, polish was streaky, and when they asked to fix it, I declined and I got attitude instead of solutions. The vibe? Uninviting. And the signs? "Help us fight inflation--use the ATM." Umm... what? Why not accept Zelle? It's tacky and inconvenient. At this point, it's just not worth the money.
