[[HIGHLIGHT]]Walk in appointment for a pedicure. They were able to take me right away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked for regular with callus scrub $35 + $10 extra. Honestly, there wasn't anything different. I even asked and she pointed to the yellow loofah and said she did, "extra" for $10 more. She spent probably 30 seconds. Then after I asked, she scrubbed for another minute. There is no special callus treatment here. I'm pretty sure that wasn't normal because I've had pedicures my entire life at least once a month. I felt like she also stabbed me when cleaning cuticles that I gasped pretty loud. Update: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manger responded saying the confusion as my fault and texted me after calling 3 times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]To clarify both my apts were for 5:30 and I got 2 messages for my apt being rescheduled for 6:30pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If there were any rescheduling that happened why not call the person beforehand?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As you can see the link for the reschedule is for 2 different links. Which is for 2 different apts. Despite the poor 1 star reviews wanted to give this place a chance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Made an apt for 5:30 and I got a text saying they rescheduled me for 6:30.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I come at 6:15 asking and checkin in to be told the nail techs left early today and that no one can see me. I've been coming here for over a year since I moved to this side of town. Saturday I had a pedicure and manicure and the service was trash. I got charged extra for something that always comes with the service I get and the price was ridiculous. Since they updated pricing what they didn't upgrade was the quality. Before they would take their time now everything is rushed. Manager called me to offer me a discount next time I go, sorry there will not be a next time. And now it's been 48 hours since and I have a whole infection on my toes. Never in my life have I had a nail or toes related issue . Says a lot about their sanitation . GROSS. read more

I love coming here. It's really hard finding a spot that takes care of you. The service is amazing and they do a really good job. Hannah is my go to she always does an amazing job with my pedicures really good at taking out the ingrown nails. The vibes are really chill music is great and there's always something to watch on the TVs. La Jolie has always been good to me. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with my experience here. I'm from out of state and was visiting my mom. Before picking someone up from the airport, I decided to book an appointment here because of the great reviews. My appointment was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. I arrived around 5:35, but because my original technician was running late, I wasn't actually seen until around 6:15 after my previous dip powder was soaked off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When Kimberly started my nails, I showed her a photo of the look I wanted. She recommended trying a product called T.A.P., explaining that it was somewhere between acrylic and gel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Before she began, I specifically asked if there was a price difference between T.A.P. and a regular acrylic or dip service because I wanted to know what I would be paying. She told me there wasn't. Halfway through the service, she suddenly told me, "Oh, this is $70." I asked if acrylic would have been cheaper, and she said yes. That was frustrating because it was exactly what I had asked before the service started. Had I been told the correct pricing upfront, I would have chosen the less expensive option. Online as well T.A.P is listed as $65+ so I don't understand why I was charged an extra $5 than what was listed. Then, just before finishing, I was informed that the soak-off from my previous set would be an additional $10. Again, this wasn't mentioned before the service began. I ended up paying almost $90 before tip, which felt frustrating considering I wasn't completely happy with the results. The nails are much thinner, skinnier, and pointier than the reference photo I showed. When I mentioned it, I was told my nail beds were thinner, but I've had my nails professionally done many times and have never had them shaped like this. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My biggest issue wasn't the price itself--it was the lack of transparency. Being told about additional charges only after the service was already underway left me feeling like I didn't have the opportunity to make an informed decision.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I came here because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately I left feeling disappointed with both the communication and the final result.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

Unless you've been there and know who you're working with, this place is ridiculous. After pleases and thank yous to get my nails done right for my engagement I got shotty work.. I didn't even complain when my finger was cut. Even tried to have a conversation about the day. I wish I was bridezilla. But I'm not. Do better! I used to only come to this location but the service has been horrible the last couple of times I've been here. The vibe isn't the same anymore. The person who did my pedicure was ruff and rude. Very disappointed. I have noticed that if you come for just the basics they don't like it very much- like it's a waste of time for them. The entire session was so rushed!!!! Thankfully Hanna the one who did my hands was nice and took her time and did a great job. Unfortunately this will be my last time here and won't be coming back with my daughters as well. read more

TLDR: Good for simple; not for everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Depends on who you get the experience with. My first time was better than the second.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ladies pretty much ignore you for the appointment, which could be a plus or minus depending on what you prefer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The gel is nice and holds up fairly well, but the extension on my thumb has broken multiple times, and the extensions in general don't adhere to the gel, so a little gap forms and collects gunk. The color selection is pretty limited, so I wouldn't recommend them if you like bold colors. The nail art is okay...they have limited supplies and skills, and the lines usually end up messy. Also, they reuse nail files and use the brush in the bottle directly to do the nail art. read more

They are nice people I had gone to get my pedicure and nails and I asked for the TAP nail and three days later the tip started removing it's self from the bottom I went back one of the ladies only wanted to fix the nails that had the problem I said please do all of them I don't want to come back and again to do the rest and the person that did my nails asked me what kind you want I told her and the other lady kept insisting on the same thing so said acrylic please she said ok the other lady was mad but I paid $80 for just my nails and the next day my two of my nail polish was bumpy I guess wasn't dry enough I don't know but they pooped and well I won't be going back to much money for this two trips no thank you. read more

Came here to remove my acrylic nails, and the nail lady tried to remove my nail by taking another piece of fake nail and pry off my acrylic nail and it was painful! I don't understand why she would do that especially the acrylic nail is glued on to my nail bed. I told her it hurt and she still tried to do that on another finger. She stopped when she saw how much pain I was in. My pinky finger still hurts. Why would anyone do that blows my mind. She finally removed my nails the right way (soaking nails in acetone and filling down little my little) but it pisses me off that she was trying to find a short cut. I may need to rethink coming here again. So far so good. I have come here 3 times, two of the times Kimberly has serviced me. I'm real picky however she understood what I was looking for and executed perfectly. Good customer service,did not make me feel like I had to rush my service. I'm new to the Tracy area so I needed to find somewhere to get my nails done. Definitely will be returning. I've been going to La Jolie nails for about a year and it seems like each time I go, the price gets higher and higher. They do a good job but the costs are getting out of hand. It is a cute and comfortable shop. Parking can get challenging if you come later in the day. Trying this place to see if this place is good. Service is alright and the guy tells you to type in your number on the device up front. Then a lady get you to sit for the pedi chair with the price and nail book. Price to see their prices and spa price for both mani and pedi. Wasn't happy about how my mani turned out especially the design of the flower. Also, they charged my niece addl $10 for the price that was same rate as mine. Not to mention my niece gave an extra tip for service. My niece didn't know until I asked her that I'll pay but she already paid for it. So definitely not coming back here. read more

Rather than listening and trying to understand the issue, she repeatedly interrupted and kept repeating the same statements without addressing what I was actually saying. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The conversation was frustrating, dismissive, and completely unproductive. What made the situation even more concerning was that, despite our long history as customers, the staff seemed unfamiliar with us and were asking basic questions about my daughters that should have already been understood in the context of our relationship with the center. The manager Dilai also promised to call me back, but never followed through. A simple follow-up is a basic expectation of customer service, especially when a manager personally commits to it. Failing to do so only reinforced the feeling that customer concerns are no longer valued. The most disappointing part is that this was not a one-time interaction with a front-desk employee, it was my experience with the manager Dilai herself. Leadership sets the standard for customer service, and based on this experience, that standard has fallen dramatically. Loyal customers are the foundation of any successful business. We deserve to be listened to, treated with respect, and have our concerns acknowledged. Sadly, that was not my experience. I sincerely hope ownership takes a closer look at what is happening under the current management because the difference is noticeable, and not in a positive way.

I had a really disappointing experience at La Jolie Nail Salon. My nail artist, Kimberly, was extremely rude from the start -- very rough on my hands, ignored my requests, and behaved as if she was doing me a favor instead of providing a service I paid for. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but her attitude was completely unprofessional. When I tried to share my concerns with the manager, Harry, he didn't even bother to listen properly. His only response was a dismissive "thank you" instead of addressing my issue. It felt like they just don't care about their customers at all. The work was average at best, and the service was terrible. In a service-based business, basic respect and courtesy should come first -- but that was totally missing here. I came here because of the reviews but I honestly regret it. The quality is not that great. I did my nails less than a week ago and they are already chipping and peeling off which hasn't happened before to be at all especially if it's gel. I also don't appreciate the constant talking and laughter when getting my stuff done.
