I have been going to NT Nails in Hickory flat for four years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The shop is beautiful, bright and so very clean. The staff are so welcoming and professional. They really treat you like a family member. And my nails never looked better. I do like the fact that they have so many choices for colors that it is sometimes it's hard to make up my mind! And they are now doing eyebrows. They are located in the Kroger Shopping Center off of Hickory flat Highway at the intersection of Hickory Road. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. I've been going here for years and nearly every experience has been good. They have gotten busier as Hickory Flat has grown and I highly recommend making an appointment. There isn't a single tech I would not recommend. Everyone has their personal favorites but I have enjoyed manis, pedis, and SNS from nearly each of them. If there is something I don't like communication is key and they're quick to make adjustments. I have tried other salons in the area and more expensive salons in Milton, and Alpharetta and keep coming back to NT because their work is in class all its own. read more

During and post COVID I've been making appointments to get who I want to do my nails and pedicure. Tommy ALWAYS does my nails but books up so you need to make an appointment. He is THE best for SNS in my opinion. There are many folks I recommend for pedicures starting with Mary, Quinn, Danny, Trisha. Loved the lady that did my toes. So nice and sweet .. her name was Maria. My toes are gorgeous & flawless! As for the lady who did my nails with the messed up lashes... my nails are decent ( high key wish I woulda followed my mind and went to my nail shop near home in midtown .. but this is what I get lol ) she was just overall rude and not welcoming. She damn near took off my skin and though I noticed it was my nail coming up if she woulda inspected my nails she coulda pulled it up instead of trying to drill it off and her little attitude problems. I was nice about it cause I was having a good day. I really wish I had cash on me to give it to ONLY TIP Maria cause miss girl who did my nails wasn't worth an extra penny from me. I've been coming here for pedicures for a couple of years and I guess maybe I've always gotten their $45 pedi but today asked for their 2nd tier pedi which is $35. She asked if I wanted my calluses removed. Um yes, isn't that a standard part of a pedi? She informed me it's an extra $5 for a pedi so the pedi I chose would now be $40, not $35 but if I got the $45 pedi it would be included. DO NOT GO HERE. I went here to get a set of nails done and eyebrows waxed. The lady completely ripped half of my left eyebrow off, ripped part of my lashes out, got wax on my eyelid and my HAIR!!! She then proceeded to go over the already waxed portion AGAIN!!!! are you f****** kidding me?? Needless to say I did not get my nails done after that horrendous experience. I live about 3 minutes from this place but have never been in. I don't regularly get my nails done because I'm a stay at home mom and we're on a budget! But since I'm 40 weeks pregnant, I decided to treat myself and after looking at all the salons nearby, I decided to try this one! It was a good experience for the most part. The salon was clean and I was immediately greeted at the door. The only problem was that everyone seemed worked to the bone and it was a kind of factory-like feeling. It was so strange! No one was really talking to anyone else despite the seats nearly being filled. Maybe that's normal? I will say the nail tech I got - Brandon - was awesome! He was gentle, took his time, was meticulous, and we talked the whole time. I didn't feel rushed through the massage, either. He was excellent. So yes - I would go back, but hopefully I'd find more smiling faces next time. read more

Amazing pedicure but the manicure looks like I did it. Each pedicure chair is lined with plastic so it is very clean. They used fresh tools and a fresh foot scrubber with each person. They have a great selection of colors including SNS, gel and regular polish. The classic pedicure while it is the cheapest certainly did not feel that way as there is a scrub that involves a massage and then a lotion with a oil massage too. It was heaven! The pedicure was an hour and she took her time even though there were people waiting. I appreciated that. The pedicure chair itself softly massages compared to some chairs where it feels like you're being beaten into submission! I would have been thrilled just to sit in the pedicure chair with the warm water! As for the manicure, there really wasn't much to it. I guess I expected the polish to go down to the nail cuticle and on all sides of the nail. There's a lot of cuticle left and the polish is not thick enough. The polish not covering the entire nail is really the big problem. I have had acrylics for years and I guess I expected the polish to cover the entire nail just as the acrylic used to. Maybe I'm asking too much? I asked for a third coat and the manicurist declined. Overall, I would go back for a pedicure- but that's it. read more

I've been coming here for years and it gone from good to terrible. The last couple visits have literally been painful and if you dare to show up without an appointment as I often have to because I travel quite often for work, you will wait and wait with little communication. I sat in water till it was cold and tried to leave twice as I had to pick someone up from the airport. Time was ticking and no one cared so... then she had to touch up every toe w a brush and polish remover. Heading to a 5 star resort for vacation. I'll have them redone. as close as this is to my home. Nail places are a dime a dozen in the Atlanta area. I'll make a different choice next time. read more

Not happy at all, I normally don't get my nails done. I'm a simple plain mani girl but my friend talked me into going and I'm not happy about the outcome. I got "SnS" or however u spell it, The color is uneven, and it's lumpy. They good from a distance but up close they're awful, I could've saved my $30.00 or went somewhere else. Let's just say I won't be back luckily I don't have to go and have them re do them because I would. I even had to clean the left over goop from under my nails.... Went for a manicure and removal of acrylic off one nail. First male technician removed the nail polish off my other nails. He left and another older female technician took over. Could hardly understand her speech. She placed the finger with the acrylic into a solution and proceeded to file my other nails and trim cuticles. Next she removed my finger from the soaking solution and began to file the acrylic off, however in the process she filed the skin next to my nail. I pulled my finger away as it was very painful. Again she began the filing and once again the skin next to the finger. I verbally objected two more times and finally loudly told her to stop, as it was extremely painful. Johnnie the Manager heard me complain and took over. Never received an apology, and when I came home had to put an antibiotic cream on the very painful skin that was filed. Today was my second visit to NT Nails. Was told they were too busy a month ago. Thought I would give it another try today. Was told there were two appointments at 6 and it was 6:15 at 6:25 the two appointments strolled in and we were told he couldn't do a pedi and SNS. Basically telling us to go away. I told the owner in front of the other customers that this was the second and last time he does this to us and we would not be back. Very bad business! I am incredibly disappointed in this place and especially the owners. They are NEVER there anymore. They've left it in the care of people who have no idea what service means. I had a SNS fill and Pedi last week. The girl didn't return my card. It happens. But they made NO effort to let me know it was there. They have my name and number on the appointment calendar! When I called the girl who Answered quickly replied "I don't think we have it". When I pushed, I could hear her shuffling through a bunch of cards and then she said "Oh it's here". This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The guy that did my nails didn't glue them on correctly and broke two days in having them. Along with charging me $11 dollars more and no I didn't get a manicure special or deluxe package. And the selection of nail colors sucked and he was pressuring me into getting my eyebrows waxed along with hurrying me up to pick a color. And the job he did on them was horrible. They didn't do a good job for my pedicure. The lady that did my nail literally cut my toe nails side ways instead of straight which looks funny. They kept trying to sale me more than what I went there to do/buy and that was very annoying. Every time I say no for an extra something she is trying to sale she would come up with something new. Also, she surprised me with an extra charge when I was ready to check out, I asked her what was that extra charge for she stated that she asked me about adding some type of oil and it was going to be extra and I approved it, I don't recall something like that happening. This is my second review of this salon and I'm so sorry to say it should be less than 1 star. I went wanting a little bit more done on my nails than I had previously. I should have known that I wasn't going to be happy or that something was amiss when she glued the tip of the nail to my skin. When I fix the nail the tip popped off. She added more glue and I thought we'll keep going. It wasn't until we were completely done that I was told my total which I thought was odd because I had been there this summer and that was close to the same total for both the sns nails and a pedicure. I paid left and went home. My husband asked why it was so much more; I said I wasn't sure they don't have a price list anywhere. That truly should have been my 1st clue not to go there. When I called to ask how much my services should be I was told $15 less than what I paid. when I told them I was overcharged they said that my nail Tech was not working and that they would have to call her to find out what exactly happened. When they called back and they said it was because I had received a manicure, which I did not. So I said that I wanted my money back because she overcharged me. While I was on my way to the salon to get my money the manager called me and said that it was because my nails were to start at a higher rate because of the coloring then he continued to argue with me that the person on the phone didn't know what I had had done. I explained that she spoke to the nail tech and so therefore they knew what I had done. I explained to him that they said it was due to a manicure which I did not get. He said is that it was because of the coloring that had done. When I got to the salon the nail tech was the one who came to the front counter and told me I was wrong. I said you can keep your tip but I want my money back. I received the $15 difference back and I will not ever return there again. read more

I do love this place but it is soooo crowded. I took my girls 5 and 7 to get their nails painted. I did get gel nail polish for them and was charged 28 a piece which I felt was a bit much especially for kids. I came here for a last minute pedicure, I had been here and had a pleasant experience. This time my tattoo on my leg was pointed out to everyone including the other guests and I was laughed at because of it and humiliated. During my "leg massage" she was barely touching me as she looked out the window completely distracted. I repeatedly told her to please not touch the middle of my foot because I was ticklish and she scrubbed, massaged, etc and I asked her very politely to stop multiple times. This is my second visit, the first time I brought my 3 year old to get her polish done - hands and feet with extra sparkles from a lovely woman $9. I got gel polish french manicure and she did an amazing job. This time I went solid dark navy and got a different technician than the first time. Dark polish often gets messy, but she was a pro and didn't let one spec get by. She went over and over each nail, double checking, re-filing until she was satisfied. The staff is friendly and most speak perfect English so it's easy to describe what you want and have a nice chat in the process. I've walked in on Saturday afternoon both time and they always have enough staff and chairs that I never have to wait. I will come back here for sure. Plus, the gel is so strong that I'm able to grow my nails out longer than I ever have. It's definitely worth $25. read more

Stopped in several days ago. I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a great place to get my nails done. Everyone in the salon was super friendly and they seemed to be fairly busy with repeat clientele. I got SNS and a manicure. The finish on my SNS is uneven, but adequate enough to where I would give them another shot. The real problem is that four of my cuticles were trimmed to the point of bleeding in at least one spot. One of them after I said ouch and the tech continued to nip at it. Two of them are currently inflamed. Visit at your own risk. read more
