I used to love this place. The first time I came here was in December of 2022, based on a recommendation from my friend. The service I received was amazing and that's what kept me coming back. But ever since then, the service and quality has immensely declined. I just left the salon and will never be returning. I should've left when I first sat down as the nail tech turned her gloves inside out and began to do my nails. I thought that maybe she just liked her gloves on the other way but as I looked, I noticed red polish on the gloves. At this appointment I decided to get my SNS removed and a gel manicure after. Instead of soaking them off, she took a tip and began popping my nails off. I thought that it was because one of my thumbs had a tip on it but no, she continued and popped off my index fingers' entire growth. After that, I stopped her and requested for them to be soaked. At that point, the thumb nail that had grown out was no longer there and neither was my index fingernail, so I decided to finish out the appointment with no gel polish and just a clear coat with cuticle clean up. Please do yourself a favor and find another salon to go to. * Prior to my appointment, I had about a centimeter of nail growth past the tip of each finger. Gel didn't dry properly so had divits in all nails. Go in next day to get 4 worse ones done and she decided to redo all my nails. Buffed off top coat but then wasnt going to repaint until I was like excuse me there is no color on nails. Left with rough spot on nails and just as many divits if not more than when I went in. I have been a customer here for years, but as of last month I have gone to a new salon. I've always used the same nail tech but my issue was with the pedis. I have videos of the techs REUSING the wax from the spa pedicures. They sit in the back after hours and take all the used wax and put it back in the pot that melts it down again. The hot towels they put on your feet are suppose to be washed after each use, they just put them in water with some Downey and then throw them back in the hot box. I'm done with them. If you paid with a credit or debit card and left a tip, most of the time the techs wouldn't get their tip. My nail tech has left that salon and I followed them to their new place. The Health Dept. now has these videos. So beware. read more

I've been coming here for a while now but hadn't taken the time to write a review. Nothing really stood out, until now.....I went in for my regular manicure (no gel, no sns), nothing fancy, just a regular manicure on a Friday & went home satisfied, as usual. However, Saturday (mid-day), I noticed that my polish was chipping on not just one nail but several. I was so disappointed! After whining about it to my husband, I decided to call in and tell them what was going on (because no one likes to pay for a mani and have it chip away barely 24 hours later). The girl on the phone was SO KIND & said to come in and they would fix it FREE of charge!! SAY WHAAATTT?!?!!! I was so happy to hear that they stand by their work in such a way. I wasn't able to go just then, but thankfully they open on Sunday's. Now, 48 hours after my original manicure, all 10 fingers had some sort of chip to them. They re-polished them ALL. She explained that certain colors tend to chip away more easily (just 24 hours - not sure) but I wasn't going to argue it I was just pleased to have it fixed. 1. I was overjoyed that they stand by their work 2. They care about customer service 3. It's an aesthetically pleasing location 4. So easy to get either an appointment or walk-in (which is what I normally do - love that convenience) 5. It's CLEAN! So I don't normally leave bad reviews. But nails are something I'm very passionate about, therefore I hold nail salons to a higher standard than most businesses. I came in to pavilion to get my current set soaked off and to get a new acrylic set. When they asked me what services I wanted, I told them just that, a soak off and an acrylic full set. However, after cutting down my nails, the nail tech just started prying off the nails with a false tip. For most people, this might be okay. But for me, it's painful and what most people don't realize is that it causes unnecessary damage to the nail plate. I dealt with it for a while but when she was on the last nail I asked why she didn't soak them off. She says that soak offs have to be requested, and I told her that I did request it and she tried arguing with me that I didn't. She then told me that my nails were too long and that soaking them off would take a long time. And, even though she probably already knows, I told her prying them off damages the nails. So she gets frustrated with me and just decides to soak off the final nail while she works on a different customers nails. She tried to inform me that it is the acrylic that damages the nail. But in actuality all good nails techs know that over-filing and improper removal is what damages the nail, NOT acrylic. After giving me an attitude about proper removal techniques I told her I no longer wanted to get a full set, that I would be content with just the removal. (Because if they don't follow proper procedures for removal I doubt they would for application as well and I didn't want to take any chances). I can't speak on all the nails techs at this salon but the one I had was not very professional nor kind. I'm not ignorant when it comes to nail care/health so I don't like when cheap salons try to tell me whatever they want just to make their work easier and to make them more money. It's not fair to their customers that they do this. I now have 1 healthy nail and 9 damaged nails with multiple layers of keratin ripped off because of improper nail removal. I would suggest everyone do their research before going to any nail salon. Because you can't always believe what your nail tech tells you, they're just looking to make a quick buck so make sure you're informed. I'd also like to point out that she recommended I get "SNS powder" instead of "acrylic" so I just feel the need to make this PSA: SNS IS acrylic. SNS is the company that makes DIP acrylic, which is just another way of applying acrylic nails as opposed to the traditional method. However most salons will fool their customers by telling them SNS is safer and healthier in an attempt to get more money. It's not. It's JUST acrylic, except you're paying more. read more

While this used to be my go-to nail salon, I will no longer be coming here anymore. My sister and I went in to go get our nails done and we got the exact same design, showed the same picture and everything. We had different artists, but the time and effort taken by each was different and it shows in the outcome of their work. The head/owner of the salon did my nails and the design ended up looking horrible and rushed. Some of the hearts do not even look like hearts. It is overall poor and sloppy. (Pictures attached. Purple and blue were inspo and black and green are mine.) This is not the first bad experience I have had with this person either. She had done my mother's nails and ended up cutting her while rushing through it, leaving her with a sloppy manicure as well. My sister's artist was more detailed and precise with the artwork, and my sister ended up very happy with her nails. Really love my mani-pedi at this new nail salon next to Kroger at the corner of rte 92 and Trickum Rd in Woodstock. First, the location is excellent - to the right of the doors into Kroger. So plenty of parking! And after having your nails or other service done, you can shop for the family and head home. One stop shopping! Everything in this nail salon is brand new. The massage chairs still have the "new leather" smell (and they look and feel like real leather - I think they are). The ceilings are high and give the space an airy feel. The decor is modern, streamlined, and immaculately clean. There is a "expensive spa" feel to the place without the expensive spa price tag. If I get my finger nails done, which is usually just for special occasions, I get gel nails to help them take a bit of a beating. I usually get a pedicure with callous removal and big toe nail art - regular nail polish. Today I was feeling sassy and after recommendations from some of my friends, I decided to try two new things: SNS nails (dipping powder) on my finger nails and gel polish on my toenails. One picky thing: I like my finger and toenails to match, down to the nail art. Makes wardrobe choices so much easier! The staff helped me find a blue SNS color that had a nearly perfect gel nail color (for my toes) match. Both the nail services were very pleasant, pocket-book friendly, and I love the results! I asked about the nail art design and I admit to having my doubts when the manicure nail technician suggested a flower. I explained that I'd had a flower before and was looking for something different. She assured me it would be a "special flower," and despite my doubts and not having any nail art photos to show her, I decided to trust her. She was right! The "flower" she artfully executed on my ring finger nails and big toe nails looks more like a lovely butterfly! I am so glad I trusted her! I am completely satisfied with the service I received to remove the old gel nail polish from my fingernails and remove the old pedicure (regular polish) from my toe nails, and to have a manicure, SNS finger nails, pedicure, gel toe nail polish, and nail art on both my hands and feet. Great job! I hope this new location earns plenty of repeat customers and that their wise choice of right next to the Kroger front doors brings them plenty of walk-in customers! read more

This is the first time I've ever shared a negative review about any service establishment but I feel like I need to say something. My nail technician, Tammy, was extremely rough with my cuticles. I have 2 fingers that are still healing from a manicure 5 days ago. I do plan to call the salon for direct feedback, as well. This may be isolated to one technician but I don't know and will never return to find out. Second issue - nail polish selection is terrible if you aren't using gel or powder. read more

Unfortunately my service was very disappointing. I had to wait 15 minutes upon arrival since I didn't make an appointment (which is understanding). After waiting 15 minutes I was brought back to a chair to get my pedicure. All of the people who were Caucasian were serviced right away and given what they asked for. So I sat here for an additional 20 minutes before anyone ever came to give me my pedicure. Also, at one point she had to get up to go to the front counter for some reason, and when she did the towel she was using fell on the floor. She did not replace the towel with a clean towel, instead she proceeds to use it on my feet. People walk all over the world and come into this salon, that is very unsanitary. Also, another African American came in to be serviced for a pedicure and he was told no because he only had cash. I'm assuming it was due to the pandemic, but there were no signs saying "no cash", so in my opinion, that was unfair to him. This is my first time coming here and I'm just super disappointed. I will not be returning. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the lady who did my feet was kind of nice, but she did a horrible job. read more

The staff was pushy about getting tips in addition to my SNS when I didn't want them due to the fear of them breaking... Well, I finally caved. A week and a half later- I have three nails that broke in half and one that broke my actual nail and is non-stop bleeding. While mine broke at least a week and a half later, my MIL's broke two days later, the day of the wedding. They were too thin & really not well done. I should've stuck to my gut & not let them talk me into doing tips with my SNS. Granted, it should've also been done much better and lasted longer for a new set that was only 1.5 weeks old. used to be my favorite. Sad to say not anymore. Had the worst experience. I even asked the front desk lady if I could have my nails finished because my Artist did not finish. I always get my acrylics filled in, and this nail technician did not do three of the last steps and thought I wouldn't notice. This one lady with a designer backpack walked in and I already had an appointment. The front desk lady asked her how much longer she had. She still had another 15 minutes in my opinion with all the steps left. She quickly rushed and some of my nails were not even. She put the topcoat on and said two more minutes normally with acrylics you put it in the drying machine use that grinding tool and clean the inside of your nails after they file and do all that she did none of those. So when I asked to get them if they could at least cleaned out with that one tool (did not even mention that she rushed and finished) she pulled the same lady that did my nails and she was really really rude mumbled something under her breath to the front desk lady after she told me to go washed my hands. read more

**COVID19 Update- this nail salon is managing the process very well. All technicians are wearing masks, full face shields, and they've installed plastic barriers at the manicure stations. This a fantastic new nail salon. The facility is gorgeous, everything is new and tastefully decorated. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I requested a change in shape from square round to round and the technician showed me the different types of round shapes...I never knew there were so many, but she made sure it was exactly what I wanted. I hate leaving negative reviews but this pedicure was the actual worst one I've ever had in my life. It was done in under 15 min - start to finish which would be cool if it didn't LOOK rushed. I literally waited longer than the pedicure took. EVERY single nail was crooked, some were cut so short it hurt to walk. My skin was halfway buffed or whatever so my whole foot was rough and looked crumbly. It was so bad it was comical lolol. Got my nails and toes done on Monday and by Wednesday one was chipped so I went back Thursday AM. They were busy and I agreed to wait, the lady told me to grab the color, I wasn't exactly sure which one it was so I picked what I thought looked closest. The lady came up to me put some on my nail and told me they were wrong and to go find the color myself and didn't offer help. This made me extremely upset. Thankfully the girl at check-in came and helped me. And here we are on Friday and I've had 3 chip. I didn't pay over $50 to not have them last a week.
