Edited 6hrs after my appointment. One nail has already split and is falling off. Gel polish shouldn't come off within 6hrs. Lost another star. The two stars are for how nice everyone is. But it really was the worst gel pedicure/gel manicure I've ever had. First they blamed it on my tiny nails. Then they blamed it on the gel polish. But what I am left with is a sloppy mani/pedi and 6 layers of gel polish on my toes...so much that they push into the tops of my shoes. I hate it. I have an interview in the morning, otherwise I'd be soaking this off tonight. read more

I am a big fan of a couple of them, and the quality of work. Good color selection. They will give you water if you ask. Hey have 2 TV's. Pedicure is very good! Massage is very good! Quality of SNS, acrylic or basic pedicure is good. Only negative things are communication barriers, atmosphere is better. I go here because of location and quality. read more

Wow. Quite simply, the best cheapie pedicure I've had in a longtime. And you know these kind of places...electric massage chairs, whirlpool foot baths, walls of half empty OPI polishes, and usually a friendly technician pushing the upsell. Except, Nail Stop does this right. For only $18, I had a solid hour-long pedicure, with a great foot massage, only one upsell, and tools that came from their own individual sterilized bag. This salon has been open for a while (I remember coming here in high school), but it looks like it's been recently redone and was impeccably clean. They also had a handful of Essie polishes (my fav), and my pedicure still looks great a week later. There's a nail salon every quarter mile on this stretch of Crossville, but having tried almost all of them, this is the one I'll come back to. read more

I just moved back to the Roswell area and had been on the hunt for a new go-to nail salon but didn't know where to start. While I was grabbing lunch at Zoe's Kitchen I noticed the cashier had cute nails and she immediately recommended Nail Stop up the street. I drove over on a Sunday just after 12pm and was sat right away. Lucky for me I got in just the right time as people started piling in just a few minutes after I arrived so a wait definitely built up! But I liked how clean the salon was and how it didn't have that strong of a "nail salon" smell at all. I love my SNS manicure and my pedi was excellent. I also think the prices were very reasonable -- $55 for my SNS mani and pedi and I was definitely expecting to pay more since I opted for SNS. Overall I will definitely be back. read more

Nail Stop did a lovely job on my manicure and pedicure. I was a walk-in at 3pm on a Monday and they took me right away and did manicure and pedicure at the same time. I do not wear nail polish and usually have my nails buffed. They used buffing compound and buffed them to a beautiful shine. It actually looks like I have clear polish on, but I don't! They were courteous and kind. They treated me with respect and made me feel very comfortable. Just FYI, they do not use bed liners in their foot baths. Most places in San Francisco use them (that's where I'm from), but maybe that's not the standard here. I won't hold it against them since the place seemed clean and the instruments they used were taken from a sterile pack. Thanks for a great manicure and pedicure. Stopped here to get my eyebrows arched and I was pleasantly surprised with how great they turned out. Especially for $6. This location is very close to my new place, so I will be attending regularly for eyebrow services. I went into this nail salon, and asked to get an acrylic manicure done. Apparently the manager did not hear the acrylic part and had a women do a manicure. I haven't gotten acrylics in a while so I forget they don't do the hand massage and all. She started painting my nails and I said "excuse me I think there was confusion because I asked for acrylics". She looked at her manager and said something in her language. The manager glares at me and starts abusively YELLING at me. He was talking over me and was insulting me and yelling at me how I said the wrong thing and that I was at fault. I stayed and got the acrylic, two of the nails broke off within a week and he made me pay for the manicure service and acrylic. I paid about double the amount I should've. Do not recommend. Ive been going here for quite a while... got my first set of acrylics ever here and theyve always been really nice and GOOD pricing!!! However. today I went in to get my acrylics taken off because I had broke one (real) nail completely. They couldnt do anything to the injured nail which is completely understandable, but they ended up charging me 12$ to take them off which it should never ever be that much! Before I would come in and it would consistently be 5$ so it makes no sense that they charged 12... also they cut my thumb nails so short the nail bed is partly out :( dissapointed!! read more

I'm very picky about my nails. There are several different places in this area that I've tried and Nail Stop is by far the best. Andy takes pride in his work and it shows. He does an awesome job. I'm always nervous they're going to cut my fingers up because of other experiences at different places but I never have to worry with Andy and I've been going here for a year now. Also, I'm particular about the thickness and length of my nails and they always meet my needs. Not only that but I'm always getting compliments on how good my nails look. I have gone to this nail salon before because the nail technicians are pretty good with the SNS nails that I get done. I went recently and it was a little busy, but my daughter and I waited for only a short time. I had someone named, Tom. He was very agitated and pretty fast with me. His station was very dirty and had old looking tools. I couldn't believe I didn't even get a fresh towel from the person before me. Nail clippings and nail dust was everywhere. I realized he may have been burned out that day... but when he cut my finger with an electric tool , I was very nervous at that point. He did put antiseptic on it but again his place was dirty. I was nice and still let him work. He apologized, but was still very fast and sloppy while finishing my nails.At this point, towards the end...I was in complete shock that he treated me this way. I will tell you ...I will not go back to this place. I get my nails done every 3 weeks and I will find another place . read more

Never going back! After 4 days my refill was cracking off and edges were turning black.. Went in to speak with them about it.. Said they would fix it and filed off the acrylic, never filled it back in with acrylic, just painted over it with clear nail polish. I asked if he was going to refill it again, kept talking over me and told me they look great.. Spoke to other guy there and he was so rude, and both were implying that it was my fault.. After 4 days the acrylic should never be chipping off. The remedy for this was to file off the acrylic and black edges which I'm assuming was the start of a fungal infection.. and paint it with clear nail polish, never refilled it.. Then make me feel so uncomfortable in a conversation that I couldn't get a word in and was being shooed out the door.. This could have been easily fixed but the way this was handled was completely inappropriate, lacking good customer service and I will never go back.. read more

no matter how many times i give these people another chance, i am always disappointed when i come here. i've been going here for two years and i couldnt tell you why. it's affordable, but you get what you pay for. the acrylics they do are so bad. they are FLAT. acrylics should blend into the nail and have a natural looking curve. it literally has NO curve and it doesn't blend into my nail at all it's so thick around the skin. every time i've been there it's been a different person who has done my acrylics and each one of my manicures has not been impressive. the last time i went, the nail tech FILED INTO MY SKIN!!! i had slits from the nail file on three nails. even after wincing i don't think he took a hint. i think i would've had a way better experience driving to target right down the road and buying a box of artificial nails. their gel pedicures aren't good either. can't say that i'll be coming back. read more
