Which is completely inappropriate. This time she rudely reminded me twice that I had gone to the wrong department and should have gone to primary care. She made me feel like she dismissed the my issue and just told me something that google could have answered. It's not my issue that the RN scheduled me in OBGYN for a woman related issue, instead of primary care. Dr. Gierut made me feel like my issues didn't matter. Just because a doctor is "higher" up and well known, does not mean they will give you the care you need. i don't just need a diagnosis but I want to feel like I am being heard and she cares about my health. She also kept questioning me and saying how "odd" and "strange" it was that I didn't go to the doctor who performed my biopsy ,last week, about this issue. Once again, not my problem they didn't give me a referral or a call back number. I get it's frustrating that other workers make mistakes but that isn't a patients issue. Ladies, stay safe out there and advocate for yourself.

He gave me the referrals I required and he had such a great sense of humor, I say that because I was in pain and it tends to make me grumpy. I try to keep it in check. However he made me laugh and forget about it for a little while. I almost wished I could've stayed longer to joke around but I knew he's busy and I was busy to go back to bed. (Spinal cord injury) so most of my days are lying on my back adjusting pillows and trying to find some comfortable position, eventually all that will go away and I can be normal again, so I appreciated all their efforts.

I will say this, so far, it's going extremely well. The staff at my house is helpful and caring. They really go out of their way to make the people here feel comfortable & that in itself is truly appreciated, Esp bc I had serious fear and doubt about coming here at all. I've been pleasantly surprised at the level of care by the house staff. In particular.. April, Ivan, Tammy & Sutter have been a huge source of help in my treatment. I can talk to them about anything ( & I have had multiple meltdowns) & always receive a supporting conversation leaving me feeling very positive about the experience regardless of how uncomfortable I may be, feeling my feelings. Theo whom is my case manager is exceptional at his job. He is kind and very resourceful in all the aspects I ask of him. Like helping me with SDI, Doctor appointments and special requests- great listener and easy to talk to which is highly appreciated Brian my therapist is incredible at what he does. He is so well balanced calm and smart! I'm learning great EDMR & DBT Skills which have been a life saving tool in this process. Not using cannabis as a crutch was very difficult at first, I've used this for anxiety for a decade - Brian has truly helped me regulate my intense emotions through great breath work and other tools , Like EDMR Therapy . The counselors are lovely friendly and attentive , I truly have no complaints , I'm extremely committed to my healing so knowing these professionals care is very nice. I can really only speak from the mental health program which has been fantastic for me.. I put in a request to extend my stay because of the positive impact this is having for me. I attribute that to the people who work here completely. This review is from my personal experience. It has been a breath of fresh air for me. If you are struggling I would recommend trying this .

The majority of the staff come to work so high they can barely function, and they say and do very inappropriate things though out their shifts. The racial abuse I experienced was so bad that I wanted to leave, but I tried to stay for at least 30 days. When I spoke on all of the drug use, sexual harassment, and racial abuse going on in the facility i was in Ms. Brooke and Mr.Ross covered it all up by trying to get me discharged. I have never been so violated in my life. I am in the early stages of a law suit against this place. Please do not send your family members here it is the worst experience I have ever had. I can not really go into details, but this is just a small snippet of what I went through in this facility.

To make matters worse, my partner has dealt with Lily throughout this process, and she has been extremely rude and dismissive every time he has spoken with her. I have personally heard the way she speaks to him, and it is incredibly unprofessional. We called again today, and thankfully, whoever answered the phone was the ONLY person throughout this entire experience who deserves 5 stars.She was kind, helpful, and actually gave us all the information we needed so we could figure it out ourselves. After months of being given the runaround, it's ridiculous that we ultimately had to take matters into our own hands. At least someone finally took the time to actually help us.
