Barrie Honda - Paperwork from another dealer where the "out of warranty" fix was done on warranty.

Barrie Honda

I've given Barrie Honda multiple chances to get it right, but they have consistently failed. I…read moresuggest if you are out of warranty definetly go anywhere else in town or if you can make the trip to the dealer in Midland, my two and only experiances resulted in major incidents: Financial Disregard: I was charged a $200 'diagnostic fee' for an intermittent engine light. They found nothing, fixed nothing, and essentially told me to come back later--despite already taking my money. When the light returned, their technician wasn't even available for days and the issue was never resolved. Gross Misdiagnosis: They previously quoted me $300 to replace a 'cracked' washer fluid reservoir, claiming it was 'collision damage' not covered by warranty. I took the car to another dealership for a second opinion; they discovered the reservoir was perfectly fine. The leak was actually a loose sensor--a simple warranty fix. Abysmal Turnaround: It took nearly three months (June to September) for them to even schedule a follow-up for minor parts, whereas another Honda dealer had parts ready in two days. Management (Mr. Lamberti) has been made aware of these failures and the documentation from other dealerships proving their errors, yet there has been no meaningful follow-up. Save your time and money--go to a dealership that actually knows how to pick up a wrench and values its customers."

I purchased it in September, and after only about five months I was told my transmission and brake fluids were already due. Before buying the vehicle, I was assured that all necessary fluids and checks would be completed since it was second-hand. For safety, I agreed to the service, but it's frustrating to deal with this so soon after purchase. While the service staff were great, this experience has lowered my confidence in Barrie Honda, and I don't feel comfortable recommending them due to this lack of clarity.
