I wish there was a review like this before I booked. I enjoyed my stylist but that's about it. I did not appreciate that the guy who took my reservation made me give him my full credit card and code over the phone even though I said I was very uncomfortable with it. Now if it was on a secure website, fine. I don't know him and what he's going to do with it. I also did not like that they have a questionnaire you fill out when you go in that asks you incredibly personal things like do you have kids, how many, if your married, when did you get married, what salon did you used to go to and why you stopped going. I got a haircut and Holly the stylist was so knowledgeable and down to earth. She noticed the issues with my previous haircuts and went on to fix it. And indeed she did. My hair never looked better. But before I got my haircut I was introduced to Terrence a gentle man with a kind soul. He did a complimentary 15 minute chair massage while I waited on Holly to finish with her client. He is a skilled colorist and recently gave me this beautiful cut and color. Even though I was scared to cut my hair, he made me feel comfortable and took off the perfect length. I have been going to Nucci Salon & Spa for a couple of years now so this review is long overdue. Nucci is an upscale salon with all the amenities, using high quality products, with an unmatched friendly & informed staff. I've been going for massages with Terence and never have I ever met anyone more thorough & thoughtful. What you won't find here is the pretentious air that you'll find at other high-end salons. I can't recommend them highly enough!! Great idea for a gift to thank that someone special (great idea for teacher gifts!). I went here with a couple friends this past weekend for a spa night. Well that was a BIG mistake. I should of known when there was a deal on Groupon, that this place would be sketchy. We also got manicures and pedicures. Well that was a mistake too. I wanted to get gel but clearly that was a lot to ask. The first color I chose, purple, looked like crap and didn't set right. The girl then took it all off and started over. I was already annoyed by this. Then she did a green color gel. Well I'm telling you this isn't gel. She didn't even do the normal gel process, she skipped half of the steps! All the nail polish on my nails has already started to come off and it hasn't even been 5 days. My toenails look so streaky and gross. I would never go back here even if my life depended on it. And it cost me $120 with tip! That's very expensive for a basic gel manicure and a normal pedicure. I feel like i got scammed and wasted my money. I will not be back, and if you don't want to throw your money away, you shouldn't either. UPDATE: the receptionist called to attempt to resolve the problem, but they offered us the same services with the same person who did the services the first time (which we didn't want). We appreciate the effort to try and make it right though. The massage part of the evening was great. read more

Be aware, they have a 24 cancellation policy. My car broke down and I called to ask if I could reschedule for a message and I was told that if I canceled I would be charged 50% of the cost of the service. I will have to get an Uber so I'm not charged for a service I didn't get. I wish this was made clear when I booked. There is nothing on the website stating this. read more

He helped the pain so much! I can't say enough about the lovely experience my girls and I had at Nucci's. Phyllis, the owner, and her staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone felt at home in the salon, the prices were reasonable, and the results were outstanding. They stuck to our timeline and had everyone done a little early so we could relax before getting our gowns on. Phyllis opened her salon for us, let us bring in mimosas, bagels, fruit, and couldn't have been any more accommodating. All 11 girls left with amazing hair, makeup, and felt wonderful about themselves for my big day. And the best part is that all of our hair and makeup lasted all day/night and into the next morning! She took the time to ask about the desired pressure to use and sat down afterword to discuss my problem areas. I left feeling so relaxed! I went to see Phyllis yesterday for a Brazilian wax and she was amazing! As the owner of the Nucci salon, she is extremely personable. Best spa experience I've ever had. I called at the last minute with a long wish list - they were able to give me a fantastic day of rejuvenation: from the beautiful gel manicure and perfect pedicure from lovely Reisa to the perfect cut and colour from sweet Holly (transformed my dowdy hair to a posh modern cut), and finally the amazing healing massage from Reiki master Terence. I left feeling happy, beautiful, and ten years younger. The salon is freshly remodeled and I can't wait to go back and try Phyllis' facial that everyone tells me is fantastic. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the women that waxed me was perfect! She was very talkative which made a Brazilian much less awkward. The problem was that she missed huge patches of hair. I got home and looked and noticed hair that should not have been there. I had to shave afterwards which was upsetting after paying $85 and tipping. read more

This place ruined my granddaughters hair ... she has very long hair and wanted hi-lites .. she even provided a picture of what she wanted done. She ended up with bleached out dry ends !!! Very disappointed my daughter purchased a Mother's Day certificate in 2017 it took almost a year to get a date were they could perform all the services on the certificate on the same day. Then during checkout I was charged $27 I assumed that was for my daughters nails. Children screaming their lungs out ( thought this was a spa, relaxing not with all that screaming) Received a call while I was at lunch telling me to bring them $62 they made a mistake at checkout, told me the 27 was for the additional time I received on a facial (I only booked what was on gift cert) another error on their part. They did offer to deduct the 27 from the 62 told them I would bring it to them after I was finished. Less than an hour later got a call from the owner saying they charged it to my credit card I didn't give them a credit card. Beware gift certificates are a scam they book you for things not on gift certificate then charge you and they make a mistake and make it seem like you are at fault, and since when can you charge a credit card for services that the card holder didn't authorize.!!! read more
