As a realtor, I recommend Bill and team at Nu Century. They are thorough and very responsive with scheduling. I have been able to make my contract contingencies because of their flexibility with scheduling. I tend to hire inspectors who don't try to find extra problems just so they can sell you the repairs. Nu Century is neutral in not creating repair work, they just report issues in terms of Repairing or Upgrading. They also help bundle roof inspections so its a one-stop shop. read more

We began using NuCentury Inspections in 2011. Before using NuCentury we were using 3 different companies, making 3 phone calls to try to coordinate times for the three inspectors to come out within the same time frame to make it convenient for our clients and ourselves. Having all three at the same time is easier for us and our clients. Coordinating repairs between roof and termite is also less time consuming since they work together, especially when they have to repair facia, rafter tails, etc., and then having the roofer come out to finish their repairs We will continue to use NuCentury because they are always responsive to our requests, even for an inspection that need to be done soon. Their turnaround time of one day for the reports is great, and our clients like the photos of damage/repair work needed - it makes it easier to understand. NuCentury is a very professional Inspection Service. I consider the services I recommend my business partners and I only do business with people I trust and provide the same level of service my Clients expect from me. I highly recommend Nu Century Home and Termite Inspection Co. ** I could not help but notice the negative comments by 2 other consumers. One person either did not read the the agreement or their Realtor failed to explain the Inspection process. When this happens it always leads to misunderstandings.The Second talks about damage found MONTHS AFTER the inspection by an Unskilled Worker. No inspector should be criticized for damage (if there was any) that will occur in the future ( after the inspection ). In my opinion, these two negative reviews are very unfair to NuCentury. I know Bill Hall, (the Owner) I have experienced how he does business and these reports are NOT consistent with the quality of work he provides. read more

I have yet to see a bad report with copious statements that some of these companies make with generic statements. He is very knowledgeable and he takes the time to go over his report right at the scene. Benji is the pest inspector and he too is very thorough. I had Nu Century do a home inspection prior to listing our home. They were a referral from some friends. I found their service to be lacking and their response time slow. Make sure you read the fine print. I had them do the repair work which required them to remove part of the roof. There was no contact between myself and the workers, who left the roof tiles off (they DO state this in their paperwork). They brought out all sorts of inspectors, so one would think that they stay in touch during the process... I guess they don't. Finally they are not very neat; when they did the repair, they left wood and paper all over and splattered primer on my plants and concrete. read more

My realtor hired NuCentury to inspect the property I purchased and as a first time home buyer I trusted my realtor to hire the best in business. William Hall inspected the property and he failed to report that the exhaust fan in the kitchen wasn't connected to anything that will remove smoke from the kitchen, instead he lied on the report saying it worked fine. It wasn't until after I moved into the property and learned the exhaust fan wasn't functioning and was just there as a decorative piece. I called NuCentury to report this matter, both the female who answered the call and Bill asked me "so, what do you want me to do about it?". People working at NuCentury do not have any regard for the customers and/or the poor service they provide. They didn't take any responsibility or showed remorse for not doing their job right but kept repeating that the report said it was functioning fine. I do not recommend this company at all. I'd give them -5 out of 5 but that's clearly not an option here. If you're thinking of hiring them, please don't waste your time and money. read more

We used Bill and his team on 2 occasions and were completely satisfied. Bill and NuCentury performed both termite and the termite work on our properties. They were on time, professional, and cleaned up when they were done. Bill explained what he saw and detailed out the work that his team would do to resolve and prevent the termite chomping at our homes. Because of Bill's background in construction and willingness to share his thoughts/insights, Bill insights were reassuring. He shared what we should tackle first and what should wait. Did a home inspection. Months later, damage was found, cracked joists/beams under the house... more money out of my pocket. What a joke. An unskilled laborer found this, but a trained and licensed home inspector could not?! An unskilled unlicensed laborer also found a water leak under the tub, see video. Not a peep from this home inspection company. Contractors have later told me that home inspections are a joke. I agreed. Note to self: buy "as is" next time, and bring a structural engineer or contractor to inspect. read more
