One appointment was entered incorrectly although the receptionist and I agreed on the date and time with me repeating the information and she concurring with me when made.  Another appointment I called to cancel over a week earlier but discovered by accident days later it was still scheduled.  I emailed my therapist and stated: " I really enjoyed our sessions and found you competent and personable.   If your receptionist is coached on her mistakes I'd be happy to continue with you.  If she is defensive or non receptive I can not. Let me know how you would like to proceed". The therapist did apologize but neither the receptionist nor office manager felt obliged to.  I was told my future appointments have been canceled.   I wrote her back saying I know I canceled them. This is the second time I've tried Pivot PT.  There won't be a third.

I would call her using facetime and she made great suggestions on exercises. I was in a boot which she suggested some ideas on how to get walking again-which was a game changer for me and I actually think I healed faster because of her suggestions. Post boot--her exercises where much better at helping me get back to normal than my doctor's. When following her advice, my healing process was a lot faster. Her professional manner is comfortable and she is easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

Lauren checked my movement ranges and informed me that my neck turning ranges were significantly below standard levels. I knew that my neck was tight, but had not realized how far off my neck was from being able to turn side to side like most people. For years I regularly tried to expand my range without luck. To my amazement, Lauren showed me a few techniques that I had never heard of including nerve flossing, and I was suddenly able to move my head another 20+ degrees! She also helped cure my rotator cuff injury with specific exercises I had never seen before and could do at home. Thankfully my shoulder is essentially trouble free now and I have full range of movement with my neck. You owe it to yourself to give Lauren a try for any physical therapy needs!

I have had hormonal issues since giving birth 2.5 years ago and I am more than ready to connect the dots, so I did some research and found Tressa. They offer a free 15 minute consultation and I instantly knew I wanted to work with her after we talked. It was basically a call for me to give her a brief overview of my health history and what my current concerns were. She was an amazing listener and thought that she could help me, so I booked a full blown appointment with her. The intake appointment was last week and it was an amazing two full hours of her answering all my questions and listening to my full health history + family history. I have never felt like someone was so invested in my health as I did during that virtual call. You cannot even begin to compare this experience to a "regular" appointment at a doctor's office. We talked for about an hour and a half, and then she wrote up a treatment plan and we came back together to discuss the next steps. I am very happy with my treatment plan and cannot wait to see what all of the thorough testing reveals. The only frustrating thing about pursuing naturopathic/integrative medicine is that it is not covered under insurance plans. I am happy to pay out of pocket for this service, however I am going to have to space some of the steps out a bit so that they fit within my budget. I know that once I invest in this initial testing and the time it takes to get to the root cause of my health concerns, I will benefit greatly in the long run. I am so thankful for Tressa and can't wait to see how this journey proceeds.
