The phone worker answered with a simple "hello" so I asked if I had reached Noble Cremations because my mom is likely not going to make it through the night and I would like some information. The worker replied "first off, my name is not Shannon, what are you trying to ask?" In the saltiest manner. I said, "I'm sorry I didn't call you Shannon. I was just hoping for some information on this process since my mother is expected to pass in the next few hours." Worker replied with a salty something to the effect of I'll have someone call you on Monday (two days later). I went with a competition, Simple Cremations. They were great. They actually told me "so sorry to hear that!" Amazing what a little empathy can do.

Wade took care of my dad after he passed in February of 2016. As requested, my dad was to be buried a few hours away in central Texas. They loaded him up in their SUV and we started the long trek to the burial site. I had horrible anxiety at the time about driving long-distance on the highway so they accommodated me by taking the beautiful scenic route through the backroads which was such a comfort to me. And funny story: my mom (my dad's ex wife) got pulled over 5 minutes into the drive for expired registration. My dad was a prankster so I know he would've gotten a laugh out of this. The Wade SUV pulled over and went to speak with the police officer and asked him to let her go because this was a funeral procession for a loved one. They did let her go with a warning but it was so kind-natured of them to intervene for the family in mourning. They seemed very protective of us. Would highly recommend them.

When I arrived to Dallas, I sent an email to Kevin which was ignored so I drove over to Wade Funeral where Kevin was no where to be found and no one knew anything. So I sent another email that got ignored. Finally when I'm called again, I was told no copies Of the obituary were available because he forgot. Isn't this his job? Now I wish I would have placed the obituary myself and ordered the number of papers I needed directly from the paper and I advise you so that. Because now I don't have what my Family asked of me. And Kevin and Wade's Funeral Home don't care and will not make it right.

Before the…read moreservice, I spoke with a pastor named Nathan Tucker about allowing the family to speak and about how they wished to honor their mother. The service took place on June 16. Unfortunately, Pastor Nathan Tucker--who talked about his grandmother and his Tennessee background--dominated the entire time and did not give the family a chance to speak about their mother. Along with his coworker sheila the conductor of the service, I asked questions about what had happened during the service. Sheila seemed uninterested, so I stepped away to find my fiancée. While I was searching, I saw her down the hall giggling and laughing--the same person I had asked about what hadn't happened in the service. I asked her why she was laughing on a day when the family's opportunity to speak had been taken away. Overall, the experience felt disrespectful to the family and poorly coordinated. I hope the staff reflects on this and makes changes to ensure families have the chance to honor their loved ones as intended. The purpose of a funeral home to be respectful to the family wishes never came true For that, they don't get no rating or respect a place where we can give our last moment was never given a chance and unprofessional
