They arranged transportation for my postop appointments, changed my dressings, and assisted me with getting into my compression garments. Their education on what to expect during recovery was invaluable and helped me feel more at ease. The recovery house is a luxury apartment, beautifully appointed, and located in a great area. It is very quiet and spacious, providing the perfect environment for recovery. My suite had its own bathroom, which I greatly appreciated, and there was a warm welcome message waiting for me when I arrived. Everything was set up to ensure a restful and comfortable stay. Going to Nurse Fonda's to recover is the best decision I've ever made!! They are super kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They bring breakfast lunch, and dinner to you, AND they are packed with protein and delicious! They will help you with showering, getting your compression on and off. They make sure that you've got your antibiotic cream on any areas where it is needed and wrap any area that is leaking. Everything you need is furnished for you! You just need to rest and recover! I just cannot say enough about how great it was to stay there and recover before I headed home. If you haven't thought about using her, I would definitely think about it. There are so many great things I could say about Nurse Fonda but I will try to keep it brief. I had cosmetic surgery in Jan 2022 and when I called on her to see if she would be available for my aftercare, she made it happen. She flew in from Miami on the morning of my surgery (she'd just left a client in Miami) and was there to pick me up from the surgery center. She took care of me for the next 4 days. She had all the supplies that I needed so I didn't have to bring any of the items for after care. She provided breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. I added on lymphatic massages and she provided those daily. She took me to my post op appointment. We talked, laughed, and had fun like we had known each other forever. After 1 night at Piedmont Hospital for Lipedema reduction surgery Nurse Fonda picked me up and began my recovery care. Being from out of state this was a wonderful choice. Nurses experienced, kind, confident & caring were always available. Providing for me all the items, I didn't even know I needed, delicious warm high protein meals, hydration, snacks and rest. Hands down Fonda is the best. She has been my nurse and guidance through 2 procedures one in Ga and one in FL. She is thorough, diligent, and tentative. She has the best bed side, and honestly makes you feel comfortable, she is now my friend and like family. She was very clean, organize and sterile.
