The dining room food was good with many choices plus they are informed of each patients dietary restrictions. The staff if very friendly and helpful to your needs. They also have an inexpensive meal program for your family who might be visiting during a meal time. On one visit I mentioned the day before my husband went looking for a gun because he wanted to kill himself. She had been to my home many times and knew my husband relatively well. This was not a first visit. I had already reported this to his doctor who was not too concerned as this is not uncommon. The physical therapist took it upon herself to call Adult Protective Services and file a report. This may have been a legal requirement however, SHE DID NOT, tell me she was going to do it or even discuss it with me in any way. The report was almost immediately closed after APS's second visit to my home. I refused further services with the therapist at The Pines and think that her behavior is disgraceful. Be careful what you tell people. The government is watching. My business will ONLY be between my doctor in me in the future. I have already had experience with someone I know long ago who was suspected of trying to commit suicide. The government locked him up for 3 days and there was no way he was allowed to leave or have visitors. Your life will become a nightmare when the government gets involved.
