I'm glad to give this place exposure, first bcs I like to shop here once a while and second to spread the word in case if you're into Mediterranean cuisine. They have interesting stuff in that department amongst many more other goodies. A medium size specialty store where you can find lots of non-perishable food items and which are not easily found elsewhere. They don't have fresh produce if you're wondering about that. Prices are fair and the guy(s) at the counter are always courteous and glad to answer your questions. Their Soujuk which is a Vortik brand is the major reason I drive from Laval to get my paws on these super delicious sausages. Once you try them, although a bit more expensive than others out there, I don't think you'll easily forget about them and sure you'll come back for more. I usually get one regular and one spicy. The spicy one is just.... mmmm mmm...mouth is watering now. The second reason I go, is the Turkish bagels (Simit). Go ahead and give them a try if in the neighbourhood. Worth the discovery.

We didn't finish our selection at 8pm (the closing time) but almost at the end. However, there was one employee very rushed push us to leave, we just have one or two item need to select. She didn't want to help but only spoke loudly to us just the store need to be closed, but based on my experience no store in Canada push customer to leave as long as customer step into the store before the closing time. My wife is pregnant, she couldn't move fast and felt sad and angry about this thing. There is no respect from the the employee at this store. Please avoid this store. It was really a bad bad experience.

I've also purchased here many ingredients to cook with, from fresh Peruvian squash (zapallo loche) to queso fresco (white Peruvian cheese) and lúcuma or passion fruit frozen pulps. The married couple who run it are very friendly, I haven't been in a while but usually when I went they would chat with me about Peru and their kids (which I guess are my age). They also have a great selection of Italian deli meats, prosciutto, salamis, etc... I found many types of coffees especially for espresso. Most if the dry goods come from the old country. Tomatoes sauce, olive oils, cookies, pasta... You won't find fresh produce. They even have pasta makers, cauldrons, and espresso coffee makers. I enjoy their house made italian sausages.
