I went to the original one on Smith Street in Brooklyn, a bigger space but this little shop in Chelsea Market is packed with the goodies.

Knead Some Love has been everywhere on my Instagram feed, so I naturally had to try their donuts…read moreinfused with Indian culture -- think Gulab Jamun or mango lassi flavored ones. I tried the pistachio and rose flavor, and the sponge-like, moist texture was so good. It would have been perfect and super absorbent with a cup of tea. These are definitely specialty donuts that feel handmade and would be great for events like a birthday or a wedding, something with real significance. The service was excellent. The owner of the donut stand, when I saw her at Holi Seaport (downtown Manhattan), was very nice and humble. Even though she was working a packed station, she still took the time to serve me personally. She sold out all her donuts, which tells you just how amazing they are. The ambience depended on the event, since it was just a stand -- I didn't go to her actual shop in Weehawkens. Given that she does a lot of events between New York and New Jersey, the vibe will vary depending on which one you attend.

SCAM. SCAMMM. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. went to…read moresmorgasburg and saw these beautiful "donuts" with exciting flavors like rose pistachio and mango lassi. I looked for prices everywhere. NO. WHERE. TO. BE. SEEN. I decide let me just get 3 to try them out they can't be that bad they're pretty small I tapped to pay and looked at my phone... $50 FOR 3 LITTLE DONUTS. FIFFFTTTYYYYY. To make matters worse there was NO FLAVOR. NONE. how does something with pistachios and rose taste exactly like a mango lassi donut. There was no difference. Just dense garbage with no flavor. Tasted awful. I felt like I ate a nobake donut made in a EASY BAKE OVEN. it was awful!!!!! They purposely don't show the prizes and the check out lady compliments you and starts talking about the weather to distract you from what you're about to be charged. SCAM.

There's a little oasis of food (Dominican Cuisine) nestled in this market. The food is…read moreauthentically Dominican and they offer other basic cuisine, all seasoned and prepared well. It's all set up buffet style giving you the opportunity to create a plate according to your taste and appetite for the moment. Breakfast is limited but very Dominican in offerings and flavor. The buffet caters to any appetite vegetarians, vegans, pescatarians and of course carnivores. Service consists of buffet attendants who keep the area very clean, they are helpful and menu knowledgeable, most importantly they keep the delicious cuisines coming out to replenish the empty trays at buffet steam tables. Ambiance is like no other... You're seated in the produce section of a market having a delicious meal community style. Limited seating is offered indoors just grab a seat and "buen provecho" enjoy your meal. A couple of tables are placed outside the main entrance for outdoor dining but it's not recommended unless you're in a rush to just sit, eat and run. It's both affordable and tasty so definitely Yummy Tummy here. If you have a bad meal here then blame yourself because you created the dish. NOW SHUT UP AND EAT!

I will *specifically* note that if you have a pet, consider going elsewhere, they do not like pets inside. My review will not be impacted by this pet advisory though, as it's not an important factor for most people, but, just wanted to emphasize it for those who may have a pet and need to get groceries.

Take cover from the rain…read more.. Been here before, and now I realize how popular this place has become. Two floors of food, and shopping experience. Food court is good, stopped for some Chicken Bone Broth Soup, continuing with the cold weather vibe. Reasonably priced, fun to just window shop and people watch, great building reconfigured for exploring how this old building use to be a nabisco factory? Certainly a good stop over for good shopping experience, tourist finds, and variety of stores to explore outright.

Swung by on a Saturday evening at 9pm for about 30 minutes while waiting for a late dinner…read morereservation. The physical location is open to 10pm though most shops and restaurants inside are closed by 8-9pm, only a handful of places like Chote Miya, Miznon, and La Devocione were still open though also wrapping up business for the evening. Wanted to highlight a few more stores here for this review: - Moon Man Foods: a Brooklyn-based company, they have a small stand about a third of the way thru the market (walking east to west), selling southeast Asian kaya jam, which is coconut-based and contain eggs, coconut milk, sugar, starch, and salt. They come in pandan, ube, and Java palm sugar (aka gula melaka) flavors. - Pearl River Mart and Pearl River Mart Foods: back in the day they used to be located in SoHo on Broadway, though rising rents made them relocate, and I'm glad they're still around! They carry all sorts of Asian-inspired decor, serving ware, stationery, and their "Foods" location downstairs is combination of Asian grocery, bubble tea (Milk & Tea), and Korean and Chinese snack/takeout stands (Kimbap Lab and Mao's Bao's). - Muji Market: this is a smaller location that carries a narrower assortment than your average Muji (house wares, basic apparel, accessories, kitchenware, snacks), though they have a full cafe serving coffee and matcha, simple Japanese lunch items like bowls, sandwiches and bento. Cafe prices seem a little higher probably due to the location. - gallery art: there is a small whitewashed hallway gallery of maybe a couple dozen small pieces by local artists, featuring NYC-centric photos, sketches, paintings, multi-media. Found this fun and entertaining!

Maybe a dry aged burger grilled over cherry wood, topped with sautéed mushrooms then finished with truffle salt. A true steakhouse experience right from your own kitchen. The legendary pantheon of beef for 90 years, Pat LaFreida has got you covered. It's all about the ground cow. While their signature burger and brisket burger blends are solid the standouts: --Short rib burger - Black angus short rib, brisket, chuck, shoulder clod; stunning. Extremely moist with pronounced sweet beefy characteristic only found in the short rib. --Dry aged burger - Chuck, brisket, shortrib and 30-50 day dry aged prime rib trimmings; sweet Jesus! All the beefy sweetness you expect from an outstanding burger with the nutty, bleu cheese funk and umami supercharged finish. Burgers sold preformed, Four 6oz patties and vacuumed sealed. Prices as of this review range from $15.95 - $24.20. Steaks? All USDA Prime and at the top end of the grading scale. Very well trimmed with fine marbling throughout. Deep veins of fat separate muscles. It keeps the steak plenty moist but it will require cutting some away post cooking. Sold by the inch (thickness). The two inch porterhouse (aprox 32oz) is excellent. Average $40/lb. 30 day dry aged versions of the classic steakhouse cuts also offered and are a better deal with their more concentrated beef flavor. Nutty, bleu cheese funk is present but mild. Denser, more concentrated flavor, equally juicy with less liquefied fat when cooked than the regular prime. The 2" thick bone in strip or bone in rib steak is where it's at. Average $45/lb. Veal, pork, lamb and sausages all on offer. None sampled. It's about the beef. A minimum of 2 steaks or packs of burgers required. Shipping via FedEX next day. $50-$100. Make a sizable order to spread the "love". Multiple orders over the years. Never any problems with ordering, shipping, packaging or delivery to Hawaii. Top tier steakhouses with outdoor dining are hard to find so why not put on some pants, pour yourself a drink as the wine breathes and overindulge (for half the cost) in your own home?
