Although they claim they will come spot treat between scheduled maintenance, we wanted a program that would keep our lawn weed free without oversight. Shouldn't a lawn care company be able to do that? We gave them a year on their plan and our lawn is still weeds weeds weeds. **Disappointing Service and Cancellation Nightmare with Nutri-Green** I usually leave reviews only when a company delivers exceptionally good or exceptionally bad service. Unfortunately, my experience with Nutri-Green falls firmly into the latter category. The lawn care service itself was subpar. Despite paying $472.52 for the season, they failed to control the weeds all summer long. When we called with concerns, they repeatedly made excuses, blamed us for improper watering or mowing, and never delivered the results we expected. The bigger problem, however, was their complete mishandling of cancellation. When we signed up in April 2025, we clearly explained that the service was only for my mother's house and only for the 2025 summer season--no renewal, no long-term commitment. In October 2025, we called to confirm that December would be the final payment and that the account would not renew. On November 29, 2025, my wife sent an email specifically asking them to confirm that "this account has been cancelled." They never responded. Then, on December 18, 2025, they emailed us trying to upsell a new product. We replied on December 23 saying we were not interested. Despite all of this, on January 15, 2026, they charged our card $40.25--an amount that made no sense. On January 30, 2026, my wife called and spoke with Liz, who apologized, and agreed to refund the charge. A few hours later I called to follow up. Liz confirmed she had spoken with my wife but admitted the account still hadn't been cancelled. I requested: - A refund of the $40.25 - Written email confirmation of cancellation - To speak with the owner She said the owner isn't involved in daily operations and that a manager, Tony, would call me. We did eventually receive an email with a screenshot showing the account cancelled, and Tony called to apologize and confirm the $40.25 would be refunded. He also acknowledged the October 2025 cancellation phone call. I also pointed out serious issues with their phone and cancellation systems--especially since they claim to record all calls, yet important cancellation requests seem to disappear or go unacknowledged unless they involve new sales. Today we finally received formal confirmation that the account is closed--only to read that they "are not certain why we cancelled." This is despite us clearly stating multiple times that (1) my mother no longer owns the property and (2) we were unhappy with the service. This experience has been frustrating, disorganized, and unprofessional from start to finish. Nutri-Green has lost us as customers--and my in-laws as well. I'm sharing this review so others can be aware before committing their time or money. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Weed issues throughout the year (2025) even after follow-up visits - Concerns questions were overlooked - Never the same tec so each time I had to repeat/explain problems - "It's your soil not us..."; my soil puts strips in my yard? - Always wanting to sale something (pest control - liquid aeration - soil testing & etc...) - Mike "a Manager" out to my house, he blamed the sun (too much or not enough), dogs (small winner dogs) - Following week later Mike calls again completely unaware he and I talked just days prior - 2 days after telling Mike I'm looking else ware "they took $$ UNAUTHORIZED from previous autopay account - Never expected "Management" to be SO UNCARRING. Our lawn is no different. Weeds everywhere and now we have new weeds we didn't have before. I spoke with the technician when he was here and told him I wasn't happy and how things look horrible. He agreed and stated the last guy must have been slacking!!! No answers on how they will fix anything. No suggestions or "satisfaction guaranteed" as they claim. Do not recommend NutiGreen Lawn service. On or about 6/10/24 NutriGreen came out to my property at my requests because previous visits / treatment application were not workings to address issues with Poa Annua. The technician they sent out sprayed the areas effected with the Poa Annua and within a week the areas that were sprayed the grass began to die and turn brown. I called NutriGreen to come out to determine the problem is the areas they treated. A service manager by the name of Michael came out on 6/20/24 and stated that the issue with the dead and browning grass was not caused by them and that I had a fungus in my grass, even though the only areas the crass was dying and turning brown was the areas they sprayed. Michael said they could treat the areas but the cost would be passed on to me. I immediately told him that they caused the issue and they should cover the damaged there technician caused. He refused. On 6/21/24 I sent an email and went on their web site to cancel my service with them immediately and that I expected there would be no additional charges made to my credit card on file with them. On 6/21/24 another charge of $31.14 was applied to my credit card. On 6/27/24 I sent NutriGreen an email that I expected this charge to be reversed, there response was they would not be reversing this charge that the reason was that this was the remaining balance of their services. On Friday 6/28/24 my new lawn service company, Fairway Lawns came out and verified that NutriGreen had put too much chemicals in my lawn to treat the Poa Annus and this was the reason the grass was dying and turning brown in the areas they treated. All NutiGreen had to do was admit their service technician screwed up and applied to much chemical to my lawn and attempt to make it right. They elected not to do this. My next course of action is to take them to small claims court and try to re-coup some of the cost that I incurred trying to get my lawn back in shape. Once again, find any other lawn service company besides NutriGreen that cares about their customers and will stand behind their work. read more

August 2024 - I called Nutri-Green, told them our yard was in good shape, I just wanted a deeper green if possible. I let them know we had a tree in the front yard where some thinning had started on one side. My spouse and I attributed this to the tree and heat. I told them we babied our yard, it looked good, and I wanted to keep it that way. I told them Ryan Lawn Care had been doing our yard but sometimes it was hard to schedule with them. Nutri-Green came out and ruined my lawn in 1 visit. I should have read Yelp reviews first. When Eric came out he said our grass was in good shape. We have fescue in the front and Bermuda in the back. I was really proud of the Bermuda in the back this year as we had worked hard on it. Eric put down fertilizer in the back, used liquid aeration in the front and back, and spot treated the front for weeds. The next day the grass in the front and back yard started browning and over the next few days got progressively worse. Eric came back out and said we were overwatering, we said our watering remained on a timer and we added 5 minutes just because the grass was dying from their treatments. Another guy came out and said we weren't watering enough. I guess he and Eric didn't collaborate on their stories first. Michael came out next and told us it was a fungus, much like another Yelp reviewer said. They were not going to take any responsibility for absolutely destroying our grass. They were each giving a different story to see what would stick. I'm including pictures. They deserve 0 stars. My spouse did a verbal cancellation with Michael. When he called back to make sure the account was cancelled they said we owed another $98. For what????? For destroying our lawn that we are now going to have to put a lot more money out for in order to rebuild??? I'm still in shock. This company is reprehensible. read more

Hey Michael, I thought about it and I'm going to cancel my subscription with Nutri-Green and go back to True-Green to do my lawn. The Nutri-Green technician was out less than a month ago and I've got dandelions growing in my front yard in less than 30 days. Used Nutri-green a couple of years ago and they were okay but nothing great and I felt I was not getting good coverage. It had been two years so I thought I would give then another shot. What ever they put on my yard destroyed the grass. I poured water on it all summer and had the worst yard in the neighborhood - and I was the only one watering! Asked for spot weed treatment and they said they did. Only half of weeds were hit. Asked again next time and they said a supervisor would be out to double check. Same results. Called and said no more treatments this year and we would postpone until spring. They kept charging my card! Make sure you cancel and don't just postpone. Poor service, poor results, questionable business ethics. read more

**RUN** - I wish I did. After 2 years of service and told to keep waiting and it will come around, it never did, they killed the weeds but also destroyed my lawn, both front and back. And when confronted about it, they try to upsell me another service. Spent over $2k with them, never felt so hustled before. I have wasted a lot of money with this company recently. They used to be good but no more. You should see all the weeds in my yard this spring. Nutsedge has completely taken over and I am a full service customer, even having spent money last year to aerate my lawn. I called and complained in a nice way. They told me they were too busy to come out and it would be a week before they could give me a service call. I told them the neighbors to the left and right of me both have a lawn service and their yards are not infested with this weed. They would not credit my account for the $40 I spent to have the spring application which obviously did nothing to prevent pre-emerging weeds. They just told me they were sorry. They told me they were too busy to come out and it would be a week before they could give me a service call. Well, that week is enough for me to hire somebody else. read more

We contacted Nutri-Green to help treat our army worm problem in August. Our bill was mighty high ($111) for what was about 5 minutes of treatment in our back yard so I contacted customer service about this issue. They said they based our price on the "treatable area" of 6000 squat feet. When the area they actually treated was closer to 500 sq feet. I tried to polity explain this to the customer service rep and there response was essentially. "We don't believe you, pay your bill." Needless to say we'll never be using them again. read more

My husband and I have been with this company for over 20 years, my lawn has looked terrible the last few years, lots of weeds. I had them spray my Crepe Myrtles for a problem they were having. It rained right after and I don't feel it did a single thing. When I received the invoice I called to let them know I wasn't happy and even emailed pictures for them to show the owner. Well I don't believe they did and they felt justified with the bill even after I said I would start looking for another company. They said we will just send the invoice to collections and didn't try to resolve the problem. I was then basically harassed with phone calls and emails almost daily, over a measly $78.00 they are willing to lose a long time customer. So I'm done with this company. read more

This company services few yards in our neighborhood and one of them stood up for us, because it looks absolutely perfect. So I got a phone number from the neighbors yard and I called those people. They been servicing our yard this year and so far it looks great. We've had a couple other companies servicing our yard before and quite frankly they destroyed our yard. So we have high expectations for Nutri-Green and hopefully we will keep them for years to come. We would highly recommend Nutri-Green to anybody. read more

Nutri-Brown(Green) has left my yard in no better shape then it was when I first hired them 3 years ago. I have had a constant issue with weeds and a yard that has gotten thinner each year. I have made multiple calls to Nutri-Brown trying to get the yard looking good and telling them to do what it takes and have had zero results. This year my yard is overrun with weeds and looks as if they laid no pre emergent this spring. All I was told when talking to their service manager was aerate and more water, yet we have had an extremely wet spring and they told me it was another month before aeration all while my yard is covered in weeds. They made no attempt to respray or to do anything for my weed problem. I then canceled my service and when I did the lady on the phone git very defensive and acted as if they didn't know about my issue but would forward it on to their service manager whom I talked to the day before. I then hired Lawn Guard and after one treatment/visit my yard is weed free and looking more green, they took care of what NutrI-Brown failed to do in 3 years of service and quite a bit of money. This tells me Nutri-Brown's lawn tech was not doing his job. I suggest to look anywhere else then Nutri-Brown for lawncare. read more

I used Nutri-Green for two years at my home and rent house. Ter-ri-ble! Each year my lawn greened slower than all others around and had constant weeds. When I called for more service they always said just wait, my grass is a different kind than other lawns around me. It is not, it is the same zoysia as half of my neighborhood has. When I cancelled, they started robo-calling me and emailing me that I had a past due invoice (I always paid a full year in advance, and a verbal communication confirmed no balance is owed). Despite repeated notice that they should stop, they keep doing it. I get two or three calls per week and a handful of emails. Don't use this company. There are too many reputable and quality landscapers out there. I would have given no stars if the system would allow me to post a review without picking at least one. read more
