I'm 43 years old, hypothyroid, a mother and a fanatic of fitness. Hypothyroidism not only put on unnecessary weight for me but it lowered my motivation and drive to continue with my workouts because no matter what I did I saw no results, I was just maintaining. In February I decided to contact and old friend, Mark, to see if he could help me out in anyway. It was then when he introduced me to the Inbody. This machine is priceless! Not only did Mark go over my results but he recommended products to help decrease my body fat and increase my muscle mass. All this nutritional advice for free! Anyone going into a dietician would have paid tons of money and would have to book an appointment for the same advice they give everyone-exercise more eat less. I wouldn't consider the $5 fee for non customers an expense but an investment in your health. I honestly recommend that everyone go and see the numbers for yourself. I'm better off now than I was a few months ago. I'm stronger and leaner and I love the products at this store! They taste amazing! Thank you for helping me with my fitness goals Mark! Went into Nutrishop eastvale today. Wasn't my first and definitely not my last! But today I went in for a low/no stim preworkout and advice on that since I've been using pretty crazy preworkouts everyday for a year straight. Thankfully Cassie was there today and is someone who from experience doesn't really use pre workout to fuel her workouts daily and recommend a few different things. I absolutely loved my experience with this location today. I went in to get an inbody test done. It's hard to understand what the numbers on the inbody actually mean. The girl assisting me was very helpful and explained everything in a way that made complete sense as to the importance of each number was and what was more of a concern to take care of. Wow. First thing I walk in he is helping a customer and try's to help me at the same time. Then he comes up to me immediately trying to sell a certain protein when I was looking for casein protein. Trying to intimidate me and watch me the whole time talking about who gives me nutritional advice and makes a fool of himself. As I try to ignore the douche, he blurts out that the casein proteins have been sitting there for a year anyway and I should go with what he was trying to sell me in the first place. A lot of people really don't know where to start in buying supplements and short, rude answers didn't help. $70 for protein isn't exactly affordable in today's market either. I have always liked the nutrishop franchise, but not this location. The employees I have met here are unprofessional, used cars salesmen. My girlfriend works for the city and says they get complaints all the time for "bullying" local competitors and for parking their jeep all day in front of other peoples businesses for advertisement. Way too much Dudebro going on here. I talked to the rep for less than a minute before I immediately wanted to leave. Went across the parking lot and back to My familiar GNC, where I have ALWAYS had a good experience. I'm just a normal guy trying to stay healthy and get into shape. I HAVE to give this place one star This location may be good for providing supplements that help people reach their goal and that's perfectly fine. What I don't like about Nutrishops in general are that they don't list prices on their products and the sales people convince you that you need several things and then when they go to ring you up, you're blindsided by how much it all costs. If that's how Nutrishop does business then that's how they do business and they have every right to do so. I'm giving them one star because they hire people who look like they know what they're talking about and then those people turn around and give BAD ADVICE. Normally I wouldn't care because when I want fitness advice I ask trainers who know how to find out a person's fitness goals and are qualified to give advice. Or if I can't find a qualified person I find several people who have achieved the goal I want to achieve and take bits of advice from each one to tailor it into something I can reasonably work with. The people at Nutrishop are good at giving out product information, and know how they reached their own fitness goals, but they aren't qualified to be giving out weight loss or any other advice that someone would use to reach their fitness goals. I, like many, used to think that Nutrishop hires these bulky guys and super skinny girls because they know what they're talking about and are qualified to give fitness advice, but I was mistaken. My father is interested in losing weight and has recently lost 10 pounds from eating healthy. He does not like to exercise and wants to continue to lose weight so he went to Nutrishop, unbeknownst to me, to get supplements and "advice." He came home and told me that the guy gave him a whole meal plan which was better than what I told him he could eat and allowed him to eat french fries, soda and drink a 30 oz Cookies and Cream protein shake, which is packed with carbohydrates, RIGHT before bed. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Of course I told my father that the meal plan he received was not for someone who is trying to lose weight but for someone who is trying to bulk up. I asked if the man at Nutrishop asked him about his current exercise routine and he said "no." So this guy saw my overweight father, didn't ask him what his fitness goals were, or if he even engaged in regular exercise, and thought it would be a good idea to put him on the same diet as himself. Which, I might add, is not any different than the "diet" my dad was on before he began his weight loss journey. I tried to tell my dad that the meal plan and advice he received would not work for him, but his response was that the guy at Nutrishop had a lot of muscles and looked like he knew what he was talking about. I even ran what happened by my friend, who is a personal trainer and has a masters in Kinesiology, and he informed me that I was correct in my assumption. But of course my dad doesn't want to listen to me who is telling him that he has to eat right and exercise to lose weight, and have personally lost 45 pounds; he wants to listen to the jacked up guy at Nutrishop who told him he could eat fries and have a shake right before bed. #58/100 read more

Trying to tell me she hold a degree in nutrition, meanwhile she has no idea what she is talking about. First of all, she is rude. Has no manners, and doesn't make the customer feel welcomed. Suggestion: never tell the customer they are wrong! Coming off as if you know it all. This girl was so out of her mind, so pumped off from all the stuff she takes, she keep going on about "bro science" "coaches" "I'm right your wrong mentality"- this location should teach her on how to provide great customer service. read more

I'm pretty upset right now, it's currently 10:14am and the store is still not open. the hours on the store itself say Monday - Saturday 10 am - 8 pm and still the store is not open. I usually never have a bad experience when I come to this location but the fact that it's well passed 10 and there is no one inside, frustrates me. Walked in earlier this morning and was greeted by a male and female who was working the counter. I have been to other Nutrishops and wanted to see if they had a variety of the protein cookies and bars. They had a better selection than the others but were still missing some of the flavors. I went in because I had two products that just didn't end up working out for me, but I didn't have my receipt, and Nicole spent her time gving me amazing customer service, and we ended up talking about my fitness goals and she even helped me calculate what my macro intake should be and thoroughly explained it to me (: I will FOR SURE be a returning customer to Nicole and that location. The other reviews seem to be very old and some of the issues they claim they had about a product were not specific. Yes this shop has people who look bulked up but it's because they live by health and fitness as well has train or compete. You don't have to be a competitor to get great products and advice. I've brought plenty of people with me to this location who are just looking to slim down and they have been given a logical meal plan for their goal. Adam, Summer, and one other employee (can't remember her name) have always been very helpful and polite. They will promote certain products if they're new or on sale. That's anywhere you go. This is my favorite location and I will continue to bring people in. No matter what your fitness and health goals they will give you great advice.. And just FYI for some people, you CAN NOT buy a product and expect to be skinny. These products help along with proper nutrition and exercise. read more

Worst customer service ever! I had never been inside of this location and franchise so I decided to go in and see what products they carried and what their pricing was like as I am currently in contest prep for an upcoming fitness show. I was unpleasantly shocked at my experience with the sales girl that was working. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a 20 something year old female who started our conversation off very condescendingly. She looked me up and down and rolled her eyes when I first entered. Just because I have a tshirt on from another competitor does not give employees the right to judge or treat customers unkindly. How did she know that I wasn't planning on becoming a regular customer there? She asked what I was looking for, I explained to her what I was currently taking and what brands that I used and that I was possibly in the market for some other brands. She asked if I was training with a coach and that's where it became ugly. I told her who my coach was and she very quickly became very snotty and began to make some very rude remarks about my coach and her training habits. She continued by also telling me that I would not succeed in my competition by her standards because I had not trained long enough. She had a gentleman there with her hanging out while she was working. Not sure if it was her boyfriend or just a friend of hers but he also jumped on her bandwagon by telling me how he did his competitions and called my coach a "cookie cutter diet" coach and spoke poorly of her as well. I didn't walk into the store for her personal opinion on my coach or my training habits. I went in to possibly purchase products! Management should consider who they hire and how well they deal with the public before hiring these young kids who are so pumped on steroids and think they're the gift to the world! I will absolutely NEVER purchase a product from this company due to the horrible customer service that I received. In the fitness industry, word of mouth travels very quickly. It's a shame that the management/owners do not care to fix the problem as many reviews on here speak negatively about the lack of customer service that they've received. read more
