***Shakes may contain milk, soy*** I stopped in on my way home from Ontario for something to hold me over. The employee recommended the smores shake as it is the most popular. The decor is cool and the space is open. The menu is expansive! The removes star is because the ingredients within each shake is not clear. I wasn't able to see the ingredients on the menu and I am extremely lactose intolerant, plus on a plant based diet. The shakes are noted to be planted based. I asked the employee if they could swap out the milk for a nondairy, thinking that this is one of your typical shakes with typical ingredients. He simply told me that they do not use milk and it is a water-based shake, which I thought was interesting. He mentioned that they use Herbalife. I went ahead and agreed as I anxiously do not want to be anything other than easygoing when already at the register lol. This last part is on me, but I went ahead and tried the shake, and it was so so good! Unfortunately, it finally dawned on me to possibly look up the ingredients for a Herbalife shake online. If using Dutch chocolate flavor, it does in fact contain milk. So while the shakes are good, and I love the great macros (145 cals, 17g protein!) it would be nice to have transparency in the ingredients for anyone who might be allergic to or intolerant to certain things. I would like to say that I used to love this place! However, their pricing is outrageous for the quality they serve. I got a waffle for 12 today (see photo) and I am blown away. It is burnt, dryer than anything imaginable, and had no flavor. I paid for extra toppings and they literally put 4 slices of bananas. I asked for agave syrup and they drizzled it on the dry waffle and the waffle completely soaked it up. Not to mention, every time I come here my total is different. Let's start with the drink literally flavorless I've tried many proteins and this has to be the most bland blend ever. It's more frothy then anything and sadly lacks any type of flavor even though it's suppose to have bananas and peanut butter in it. The sad little 3inch soggy donut was $5 it was more of a sponge cake consistency with again no flavor even with it being topped with an icing and cereal. It seems their products are all made with herbal life since it's all over in the front for sale and you can see it in the back area where they make everything. Not the friendliest welcoming .. 8am & had to yell over the blaring music that it was my first time and needed a menu. One lady looked around for one while the other seemed annoyed and pointed to the wall. I got 4 gluten free donuts & asked which shakes were gluten free - got the cinnamon roll one because i was assured it was GF & got a protein coffee for my husband. As I waited for my order, I had a conversation about my gluten allergy with her since her mom apparently is allergic too. Brings out 4 donuts .. she says they are pre made .. okay cool I guess your not allowed to pick your own toppings? Which thought was bizarre since one had nuts, cereal, cookies and sprinkles. Pretty weird considering I already told you I had allergies.
