The…read morewhole care team equipped my son with the tools and confidence to know that he can gain control over his compulsions and anxiety. They were wonderful and supportive. They taught us as parents how to maintain his success. Before the PHP our family was in distress and falling apart. We were walking on eggshells. Rogers has has lifted a huge burden from us. I highly recommend them.

I stuck it out for 5 weeks but wish I had trusted my gut sooner. Staff appears to be overworked and overwhelmed. They are all very young. That's not their fault. Like I said, they were all very well-intentioned. But I've been told by other OCD experts in the area that IOP programs like Rogers just aren't the same after COVID when the demand increased exponentially and therapists became burnt out and left. Additionally, the way ERP was done here wasn't for me, even though I did my very best at it. Inference-based CBT has been the answer to my recovery and I'm IMMENSELY grateful for it. I don't regret my time at Rogers but, if I could go back, I would pay out of pocket for a private OCD therapist instead, preferably one who does I-CBT, not just ERP. The way ERP is done here was not helpful for me and obliterated any former trust I had in myself. When I explained how things were done here to other OCD therapists they said they were disappointed but weren't surprised. I wasn't the first to tell them about it. I didn't bring this up during my time there because I would have been gaslighted "that's just your OCD". If you're reading this and you have OCD and ERP did not work for you (or if you just don't vibe with the concept of it) recovery is possible with I-CBT. You don't need to tolerate uncertainty where there is none. No more "maybe, maybe not". You can trust yourself and your senses and live in freedom.

Dr Fox told me he did not accept insurance for court ordered cases and the hourly rate was $200/hour. I paid this rate for approximately 2 years, cash, for my 2 boys. $400/week for 2 years. Turns out, this was against the rules he agreed to with my insurance company, he should have only charged me the $25 copay for each visit. When I brought this to his attention, he apologized, submitted a statement to the insurance company, collected his fee from them (on top of my $200/hour) and moved on. I am out approximately $14,000 and Dr Fox received additional payments from insurance for 3 months times 2 every week for those 3 months. He was double billing for those 3 months. Insurance will only pay on claims in the last 90 days. Dr Fox is a double billing scam. Do not trust this man in financial matters. I would like to add, Dr Fox was always more supportive of me than the father, he clearly saw the abusive nature of the family dynamic. I write this because what he did was shitty, he did not "wrong" me in the courts, he saw an opportunity to money grab and took it.

I was extremely closed off because I was young and had gone through a lot and was in an uncomfortable environment. He never made me feel comfortable and when I told him I didn't like him he responded telling me he didn't like me either. It was a crucial time in my life when I was already struggling with trust, he didn't help in any way. I would not recommend sending a vulnerable child to him
