I was about 25lbs overweight, and had grown increasingly stressed and tired. Knowing that something had to change, I started poking around online and googled, "Nutritionist" and "San Diego," and Tara's name popped up in several places. I came here to Yelp and saw that her reviews were really positive, and even though I doubted that I actually had the willpower to change the way that I was eating (I LOVE FOOD), I took the plunge and emailed her to set up an appointment. When I first went to see Tara I was recovering from so many years of dieting that I felt like I didn't know how to eat like a "normal person," which is what I told Tara. My goals were to increase my energy levels which would be more constant throughout the day versus periodic spikes/crashes and also to better deal with digestive issues, especially when traveling and needing to eat out.
