Amazing service by Bijan! This associate is the definition of customer satisfaction. No, seriously look up customer satisfaction on the dictionary and his giant smile will be there looking back at you with a nutrition zone t-shirt on. Because of Bijan, I was able to get the right supplements especially after letting my girlfriend and I sample them. I live in San Juan so I literally went out my way to come to this specific location as I can easily go to the ocean ranch location which is 3 minutes away from my house! I was recommended this location from a former associate who told me this location always has the best service and you don't get those pushy people trying to get you to buy random stuff at other vitamin placed. This associate genuinely cares about your goals and wants to help you achieve them by providing you with only the best products for YOU! How does he do it? He will listen to your routine and then recommend supplements based off what you told him. So he is definitely well educated on Nutrition and Supplementation. Absolutely amazing experience here! Hands down best service and knowledgeable. Just started working out again 4 months ago. Have been to a couple different shops, GNC, Sprouts, etc... My initial goal was weight loss and I'm there. Now I want supplements to incorporate with toning and light lifting. Everyplace but this one was quick to sell me their fad products. Not here! Seth took the time to find out about me and my goals. He thoroughly explained why I didn't need certain things I had heard about based on my goals and recommended products specific to my goals. I'm not a nutri-junkie, but am paying closer attention to my intake. He gave me some samples to try as I'm a flavor skeptic. Everything he recommended tasted great. I left there with a much better understanding of nutrition and a few products. I never once felt over-sold and will definitely be back! read more

On March 2, 2019 I purchased Barleans Omega Swirl in key lime flavor from here. I do not live near this location, I just happened to be in the area for the day. I did not open the bottle until a week or 2 later after the purchase. When I opened the bottle, a strong rancid fish odor emitted from it. I checked the expiration date and it said September 2018! Very disappointed that I was sold an expired product, especially since it cost around $27. I do not live nearby so I was not able to return the product. I'm not reviewing the products I'm reviewing their customer service. Came in Thursday morning and bought some protein because I ran out. They have new ipad pos system which is cool. I'm paying with my debit card. 1st swipe no go, 2nd swipe no go, third swipe no go. Then store manager then told me that card wasn't working and to use another, no problem. 4rth swipe with my Amex no go, so now we know it's the machine. Finally 5th after restarting there system it worked. I asked if I was charged for the other swipes and the manager said no. I get into my car and look at my statements of my card then come back into the store and showed the manager my phone that the charges did go through. In his exact words he said "I hate telling people what to do but you should call your bank and cancel the charges". I'm standing there confused because why couldn't he just void the transactions. Since the charges where made the same day and still pending I was hoping that they would void the extra payments before everything was processed. 2 days later all the extra charges came through. $160.00 of extra charges. I called Nutrition zone but there was nothing they could do. It upsets me because I'm a pretty laid back guy and vert patient. Upset at the fact they could not void the extra charges and I'm the one calling my card companies to do it. Left a bad taste in my mouth... Cause now it's just a matter of principal. I don't recommend this location, yes I understand mistakes and errors happen, but it's the actions there after that matter, and in this case there was none.. read more

This is a great sports nutrition & supplement store. Blocks from my house, extremely convenient and affordable. Previously I was set on 1 particular brand of Protein Powder that I had to order from New Jersey, but after the manager of this store mixed me up a complimentary shake the first time I was here, I became 'hooked' on their semi-proprietary brand. The best flavor by far is Orange Dreamsicle and the brand of protein is called "Lean Pro Matrix" it isn't the cheapest, but not too bad if you buy the larger 5 lb tub. Why did I get 'hooked' on this protein brand? 1. It tastes AMAZING 2. It is active/slow release meaning it doesn't hit you all at once and slowly digests which leads to #3! 3. You don't get the protein far*s. for #3 alone this is the best protein lol The staff is friendly here, KNOWLEDGEABLE/EXPERIENCED (not poser skinny guys pretending to know about working out) These are mostly ex-hardcore juice-heads or extremely fit and healthy currently in shape guys who take the time to explain what the products do and help guide you into the right product for you and not put you in the product they want you to sell. I only take protein supplements and multi-vitamins but I know they sell all those other items that such as quasi-steroids, testosterone, fat burners, and the like. I honestly don't know why this place has so many good reviews. Having worked in retail for almost a decade, maybe I judge stores harsher than the average person, but this place lacks in more ways than one. First of all, there were probably more items out of stock than in stock, which was immediately disappointing. It doesn't matter if they didn't receive a load today, they should have items in stock regardless! Second, I didn't come here for nutritional advice or for them to bash my favorite supplements to sell me something else. When I ask if they have a supplement I love in stock, I don't need to be told that it's full of junk and that I should be buying something else because I never asked for their opinion in the first place. The only reason I rated them higher than what I feel they deserved was because one of the employees gave me a sample of a protein powder and a free shaker cup, which was a nice gesture. This is by far my favorite Nutrition Zone. The staff tailor diet plans and supplement choices around your goals and needs. They are very knowledgeable at Nutrition Zone, and that is a good thing, but their entire goal is to convince the customer to buy one one of their many company's products. They actually own Body Fuse, NLN, and of course NZ Nutraceuticals. That is why you can only purchase those lines of products through their company only...and bought websites to appear as third party sites, try purchasing Muscle-tech, Optimum or any other main stream product that can be purchased on Bodybuilding.com and watch how the salesman will try to change your mind to purchase a product from those companies that they own. They will either deny it or say they have exclusive rights, you can find the similar products on bb.com, they only care about UP SELLING. read more
