He asks for my number or email and I politely told him I preferred not to give him my information. He replied, "you're one of those" under his breath. I used to go to Nutrishop in Anaheim when I lived there, and they were always helpful. Since moving to Orange a couple years ago, this has been my spot. Spyrus and Sendi are always so helpful, and know me by name when I walk in. They always know their stuff when it comes to nutrition and supplements. With their help I have really been able to cut fat while increasing my fitness and performance. Step aside, boys, because there's a new sheriff in town. This is definitely the nicest Nutrishop I've seen to date. At the end of the day, you're just buying supplements for your workouts, but for some reason when a shop is decorated nicely like this one, it makes your shopping experience feel better. It's like when you prepare a nice dinner for your loved one.. presentation is key and it really is. I love how staff is educated and makes great recommendations based on your goals. At some other nutrition shops I've been to, sometimes workers will just stand around w/o being of any help. It's different here. As a woman, I don't really understand supplements and what they are use for. Pre-workout, creatine, post workout, fat burners all fall under the spectrum of gibberish to me. As I was waiting for a to-go order from a restaurant next door, I decided to come in Nutrishop just to "browse." Little did I know, I would be in for a special treat! Right when you walk in, you are greeted with friendly faces! I didn't feel as intimidated as I thought I would have been, since I looked like a deer in front of headlights. They have an array of supplements and protein powders. I had a million and one questions, and they gave me a detailed explanation of their products, along with their personal testimonial of using the products. Not only that, they also gave me great recommendations for my fitness needs. Being skeptical with purchasing their products, I was asked if I wanted to sample a pre and post workout product they carry! I accepted their offer and was also given a shaker to use! I loved this location. I came here a couple nights ago with my boyfriend because he wanted to get some new protein. We wanted to try the nutrishop brand because my boyfriend had gotten a sample of it and really liked it. The guy who helped us was so helpful! He was really friendly and took his time to explain the products to us. I'm so happy with the service because previously, I had gone to the one in Irvine and hated it. The staff ignored us for his phone and didn't bother greeting us. That really bothered me so when I came here, I was so glad the service was great. I love the powder that we got, and he threw in a free shaker bottle with our purchase! I wanted a shirt but they ran out. I don't mind though. I reccomend stopping in. They always have great suggestions of what supplements to take for different needs. The owners are great help! They gave my tips on supplements I was taking and what to purchase, they advised me on which protein to purchase. They gave me a easy meal plan to follow and I lost 5lbs the first week with no fat burners (since I am sensitive to them). They also have a location in Orange. Came to pick up a couple hundred dollars worth of nutrition supplements as I kick off the new year. This location was very un-busy which worked well for me. There was one girl at the counter and she was friendly and was relatively knowledgable about the different supplements I was getting. She knew about pre-workouts, creatine, protein mixes, the whole nine yards and can hold a nutrition conversation. I was able to get in, pick up everything I needed, get clarity on a couple different products, then be out on my way in less than 15 minutes. Pricing is normally high but I don't know of any nutritional shop that isn't really price inflated. If you're in a hurry and want to get a bunch of gym-related nutritional products quickly, then this is not a bad place. read more

This is my absolute favorite location not only because it's my hometown location, but also because when I walked in I was treated like family and I only came in to buy a shaker cup. I did the InBody machine while I was there, the staff talked to me like a person, explained to me in detail what the readings were on the sheet. After my bad experience at this Nutrishop, Spyrus, the owner, contacted me and sent me his phone number with his invitation to solve my problem. I went to his other location in Orange to talk to him, and he and his wife attentively listened to my story, and humanely explained to me that the employee had never caused any problem like this before (to please forgive him, and his employee) and that he personally had taken care of the issue. Moreover, he treated me as a VIP customer. The reason why I rate this place with a 5 star is because of the awesome prices and product quality, the sympathetic way the owner and/or manager solves the problems in his store, and because of the way he's going to prevent any future problem. It takes more than skill, experience and nice words to change a customer's perception about your business - it takes a good, helpful, dedicated manager.
